We were here for a tournament. We checked in on Friday night. There is a Starbucks across the street, Millers and other restaurants near by. We tried to eat at miller’s 2 tables with a party of 11. The wait was over 1hour and 1/2. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. Food was good, slow to come out. The Bartender Sarah was trying to be a waitress and bartender. More on her later. Hotel was clean and rooms were fine. Pool was closed due to Covid. Some of the halls smelt like pot. On Saturday night there was more of us from our team staying at the hotel. My husband spoke to Sarah and the manager if we can get a conference room so we can all hang in it and eat together and the boys won’t run around the hotel. The manager was so nice they set up table and chairs a tv. A waitress came to get all our food and drink orders. Once again Sarah was bartender and waitress. There was another waitress but was very confused and not very friendly. Sarah was amazing some of our orders were very slow coming out but she made sure everyone got their food and always had a drink. Can not blame her she stated that their was a lot of room service and the kitchen was getting confused and sending out our orders to the rooms. Sarah is a great employee to have at The Westin. Thank you also to the Manager on duty that gave the ladies bottles of champagne to drink. The kitchen has to get better organized and needs alittle bit more help considering all the restaurants around have waits due to Covid and many people want to eat in. I am sure we will be back since we will have a lot more lax to play.

This was my first time staying at the Westin and unfortunately for the price it did not meet my expectations. Although the staff was friendly, and the room was clean. The WIFI was very slow when having to work from the room it became a difficult task also the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I woke up with back pain and just an overall night of tossing and turning. There is also no microwave in the room only one located in the lobby and the phone in the room did not work. I expected more comfortable accommodations from a highly rated hotel.

I stayed here 1 night with my husband and baby because we were spending the day in Philly. The location was great — accessible to Philly and to the nearby aquarium in Camden. The room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfy, and the building has a very classy feel to it. Not something you pick a hotel for but the hallways and lobby seriously had the most amazing fragrance.

I wasn’t aware of this, but the Westin loans workout gear (sneakers and clothes) for a little over $5. I borrowed a pair of New Balance sneakers by calling the front desk, telling them my size, and the shoes were ready within minutes. It was such a cool service that I haven’t seen in any other hotel yet, and I highly recommend!

Nice hotel, but don’t expect to receive housekeeping service. Bring your own cleaning supplies!

We asked them to clean our rooms, and what we got was a bag with towels left at the door to our rooms. They refused to clean our room, using Covid as an excuse. I have recently stayed at other Marriott properties, and housekeeping service was available on demand, so I don’t understand why this property is incapable of providing a service that one is paying for. Totally unacceptable! This is definitely not the level of service that one would expect from a Westin hotel.

One would think that staying in a Westin that costs over 200/night would guarantee you at least all of the basics that a hotel should provide.
That was not the case here. We (and the other people we were traveling with) had no hot water for showers. We also had no hot sink water. We couldn’t get any degree of warm water.
We had to take cold showers due to a lack of warm water. That was not the best way to have to start your day. The front desk couldn’t care any less. To me, that is unacceptable.
Maybe if the management of this Westin spent a little more effort in training their customer service personnel and ensuring a basic need of warm/hot running water instead of focusing their energy on pumping in their overwhelming “signature “ Westin scent through the lobby, their customers may not have a frustrating and disappointing stay.
Also- one of the families we stayed with had left their room with a “do not disturb “ sign hanging on the outside of their door. While they were gone, someone had let themselves into their room, smoked cigarettes, and clogged their toilet with wads of toilet paper
This place needs to get their act together. This was a horrible experience. I would have given it zero stars, but that was not an option.

Multiple staff members were not wearing masks indoors, including someone at the check-in desk. There's no excuse. It's a simple thing to do to protect guests and other employees. If it's important to you stay at a hotel where all of the proper safety precautions are being followed, don't go here. The reason we even booked a room here was because we were in the area to help a family member who is ill and immunocompromised. But it shouldn't matter why you're staying here, everyone should feel that the hotel is doing the bare minimum to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

First the good: easy to get to, people very nice at every meeting, room clean, Keurig well stocked, and "Heavenly Bed" still pretty heavenly! Another cool thing: there is a window you can actually open!
The not so good: the rooms & hallways are sorely outdated and rather dark. They smelled like a hospital, which could be also be a good thing -meaning they are well sanitized. The drapes were stained, all wood surfaces badly chipped, bed poorly made, artwork old and creepy. One doesn't expect this from a Westin.

I stayed here before a few years ago, and returned this December for a 3-night stay over Christmas. I think I had some issues a few years ago, but I didn't run into any this time. The hotel was clean and comfortable and smelled LOVELY. This was the first time that I used the Bonvoy app's chat feature, and it worked - I requested some additional toiletries, and the front desk sent some to my room. The bed was comfortable and the standard room was a really good size. No issues at all, would stay here again.

I was traveling through the area and was exhausted and rundown from travel. The staff and accommodations here completely revived me for my one night stay!

Starting with Rose at the front desk at check in she listen to my woes, made me feel welcome, found the perfect accommodations for the night and her charm and Focus on the customer experience was more than I expected.

Alexis in the restaurant was bubbly, energetic and ever so engaging! I was a restaurant manager for years and would have considered myself having won the lottery if I were to hire serving staff like Alexis.! Efficient, charming and engaging she truly seem to enjoy her job and interacting with people.

Carolina The Director of rooms was helpful, completely focused on customer satisfaction and I’m sure is the primary reason my room was clean, comfortable, well appointed with a very nice selection of pillows for my comfort.

I can’t finish this review without mentioning Michael at the front door. What a happy guy, very positive and helpful. My interactions with him were brief but There is no doubt that he has a great first point of contact for each of your guests who walked through the front door.

I work with a lot of hotels in my day-to-day job and I am very well aware of the Westin’s reputation for excellence and I was not disappointed by the accommodations or the staff!! Great job.

Unfortunately I am condemmed by my company to stay here 2 weeks at the time for the next few month, possibly longer. This is by far the filthiest place with the worst maid service I had the displeasure of staying in. The first time I arrived, I had to use my pocket knife to scrape off toothpaste/lotion/(I hope it was just that) from around the sink.
The second time my hand stuck to something on the desk (I hope it was just food remnants), the area around the sink was filthy again. The top of the dresser was not much better. Upon request the maid, which I caught in the hallway, "cleaned". I had to call her back, because it was still not clean. Not by far. She mentioned that the hotel "should give her better stuff to clean". I finally had my desk and area around the sink cleaned. Not the dresser.
When it came time to service my room again (as agreed with my company), I had to request it for the next 3 consecutive days. Finally my bed was made.No sheet change. No wiping down of the desk or sink area .
The next time the maid service was on time, the sink area was wiped, not the desk (where I have to eat, drink, etc. every night). No liner for the ice bucket, but that's not that big of a deal since the ice machine was not working since at least two weeks and probably will not be working for the forseeable future.
Not all that impressed.
