One of the nicest Hampton Inns we’ve stayed at. I usually prefer boutique hotels, and I’m very picky about cleanliness. Our room was clean and bed comfortable. It appears to be an older hotel but nicely refreshed. The lobby/bar area had a lovely fireplace, and food in the restaurant was surprisingly good.

This is a very nice property that rises above what is normally expected from the dependable Hampton chain. Although only three floors, the rooms are spread out so that noise levels are reduced. Very spacious rooms, easy and quick internet access, and large TVs with numerous channels. The hotel appears to be very popular with wedding parties (two occurred on my Friday night stay) yet there was no noise issues and plenty of parking available. Very nice restaurant is on site that provides room service with a wide variety of menu items although they are expensive. Complimentary hot and cold breakfast was very tasty and of good quality. Will definitely stay here when visiting Fairfield again.

We recently used this hotel for our wedding and could not have been happier with our stay. We were able to reserve a block of rooms for our guests and the staff and management were incredibly accommodating to any questions our guests had when booking rooms. As the married couple, we were given a suite upgrade which was clean, modern, and spacious. The main area was the perfect place to hang and get ready with all of the groomsmen the morning of our wedding. The bridal party was also able to use the suite and connecting room as a great spot to do their hair and makeup. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms had nice privacy and the shower water pressure was exactly what you're looking for.
On top of the overall hotel being great, we were also able to use the connecting Calandra's Bakery for the rehearsal dinner. We were able to use the private room to accommodate around 40 guests with delicious buffet style bread, cheese, pasta, filet mignon, chicken, desserts, etc. Everyone we spoke to the next couple days were raving about the food. Phenomenal start to our wedding weekend. Recent renovations were done to the whole hotel and you can tell. The main lobby has a classy ballroom look to it and the connecting bar area is large and has plenty of seating. We had a substantial amount of people come back with us after our wedding and the staff dealt with all of it which could not have been the easiest to do. The next morning there was a buffet style complimentary breakfast which hit the spot after a late night.
Throughout the process, our hotel contact Jacki was very helpful, kind, and made sure we were taken care of during our time there. She was very accessible and answered any questions we had.
I highly recommend this hotel not only for the room quality and food but also the location on Rt 46 which is very convenient for traveling. We will be using this hotel in the future anytime we plan on staying in the area.

My husband and I chose Hampton Inn for our hotel block in July 2022 for our wedding at The Grand. We had the most amazing experience. The hotel management was so competent, worked with me for months to plan out our shuttle from the hotel to venue for all guests within the block (beautiful white shuttles that fit 50+ people). I arrived at hotel on Wednesday with my MOH and we had such a peaceful time setting up my bridal suite. The bridal suite was gorgeous and included great lighting, 1 bedroom, kitchen and living room area. Thursday we had our rehearsal dinner onsite at the restaurant. Service, food, atmosphere was great. It was so scenic, relaxing, and awesome that our guests didn't have to drive anywhere. We were able to rehearse upstairs in a conference room as well. Friday we got ready onsite, all guests within the block we're placed on the same floor and it was so easy for them to come and visit me while getting ready. There was free breakfast downstairs every morning and all my my guests loved it. The block prices were so fair and the hotel felt so luxurious. The shuttle was included for booking 15+ rooms at no extra charge. Our guests loved it and enjoyed our wedding so much more not having to worry about driving back and forth. The hotel was so accommodating and really made my wedding week so special and stress free.

Room rates are up but they’re still providing Cold boxed prepackaged breakfast. Yet the restaurant is Open for lunch and dinner. Makes no sense.
Also,,, there’s no reason that the pool isn’t open except for the fact that they don’t want to clean and sanitize properly. Community pools are open. Yet they’re charging close to $200 and skimping on the amenities.
Staff is not very friendly AT all.
The hotel itself is nice. But the lobby floor was dirty.
My room was very nice. And quiet

Let's face it, traveling during the time of COVID-19 is not as much fun, but as my wife and I had a family wedding to attend in the Fairfield area (and the bride picked the Hampton Inn as the event motel), we stayed here.
The staff was about as friendly as was possible, even though they were stuck behind clear partitions in the lobby area.
Our room was pretty large, with two beds, a good amount of furniture, and a large TV with a lot of premium channels. We slept fairly well.
I also appreciated the very large counter in the bathroom area.
Even though we were right next to Route 46, I don't recall hearing much 'road' noise, but I did hear some from people walking in the halls--nothing excessive.
In the morning, the motel had prepared 'to go' breakfast bags, which included a muffin, cereal bar, apple, and bottle of water. This was a nice touch, even though the traditional breakfast Hampton Inns usually serve was missed (but again, NOT their fault).
For the location, the rate was very reasonable, just under $100 before tax.
If I have some reason to stay in Fairfield again, I would certainly consider coming back here.

Disappointed in lack of attention received as a bride staying in their hotel. They only offer complimentary items to those brides who book guest rooms.

We were a large group in the hotel for a wedding. The staff, services, amenities and food were all excellent. I travel extensively and always greatly appreciate an accommodation that is clean, comfortable, quiet, modern and convenient. The Hampton Inn fulfilled all of these aspects wonderfully.

I’m a local and my family stayed here when our power was out from a tropical storm. Was very pleased with the precautions in place. Everyone was wearing masks. Room was very clean—sealed door with a Lysol sticker showing no one had been in there. Wipes in room, remote controls were the easy-clean kind.
We had room service delivered from the Calandra’s restaurant in the hotel— which is a locally owned, well-known Italian restaurant—very good.
Room as a bit dated, but bed and pillows comfortable, bathroom updated.
Overall very happy and made me feel comfortable with the stay!!!!

My wife and I used this hotel for our wedding in 2021 and it was an Amazing experience! Everyone was so nice, helpful, and accommodating! Our wedding was originally scheduled for 2020, so you can imagine the amount of e-mails back & forth with Jacki from the hotel who was handling our Block of Rooms which then needed to be rescheduled for 2021 due to covid. For such a stressful time she answered every e-mail & the communication was phenomenal! My wife and I returned to the hotel to celebrate our 1 year wedding Anniversary. Our experience was just as great if not better! The staff at the front desk which included the General Manager helped me plan last minute towel decorations to surprise my wife. One of the most important moments for us & really stands out is we had medication that needed to be refrigerated, our room wasn't ready yet due to a Bride running a little behind schedule. The staff offered to put the medicine in their refrigerator for us. When in the room we noticed the staff placed our medication in the room refrigerator! The renovations are beautiful, every staff member you see greets you no matter the time of day. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful and has a nice variety for everyone! Staying in a room at Hampton Inn feels so comfortable, it doesn't even feel like you're at a hotel. We will continue to recommend this hotel, and we will continue to celebrate our future anniversaries with the hotel and staff who have made an impact on our stays!

In my experience usually two king beds, but sometimes 2 queens. Their website will show which is which and make it possible to reserve a particular choice, or just call them and get the real story
We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. The shuttle took us to and from the Westmont Country Club. I noticed the hotel shuttle went to other venues in the area. Your best option would be to call the hotel directly.
