Hotel's Favourite
I decided to stay here during a visit to New Jersey. First off, I’d like to say a special thanks to Jeremy. He was awesome all around. From arranging an early to check in to being friendly and always willing to acknowledge me and what I needed, he delivered excellent customer service. The hotel itself was pretty quiet and comfortable. Definitely one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at in an office park. Another plus is having Harold’s Deli right next door. It’s a great place to eat with enormous portions. I would definitely stay here again

While the location was fine, and the property was very nice, Hilton advertises this property as taking extra Covid-19 precautions, and I booked based on that expectation. While I understand this is not important to many people, it is to me. None of the front desk staff wore masks, or showed any concern. Not a mask to be seen on any guests (except me, I suppose). Some of the housekeeping staff were (sort of) wearing masks. This area of NJ seemed pretty careful in general - employees at stores and restaurants and their patrons were routinely distancing and wearing face coverings. But not here.
In other news... Dish network TV service with the slow scrolling guide, awful. And the TV service itself was spotty - screen kept freezing. Reported to the front desk and asked that engineering take a look at it the next day. Nothing happened the next day, and the next evening, I found that the cable connection wasn't screwed all the way in. Once tightened, TV worked fine. A simple fix that the management should have found once alerted to a problem.
Room itself was a bit noisy as it backed up onto a highway. Ask for a room on the front side of the building away from the major traffic noise.
I will not be back.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at 2 Aimbridge Properties, one in NYC ( Marriott Courtyard Megan Wright GM) and most recently the Hilton Garden Inn at the Raritan Center in New Jersey GM Dontavius Richardson and experienced excellent service during our stays at both properties .
We were attending a large family function close to the Holton Garden Inn and the GM was reachable and we were provided great rooms in an otherwise very busy weekend (a dog contest). We took the snack upgrade room and had snacks for our stay.
GM Richardson also took the time to explain Hilton’s new policy for Gold Members in not providing a free breakfast but $10 per room per occupant and we found this a much better arrangement as we were not limited to breakfast (which was covered a la carte) but for other meals, snacks and/or drinks.
From entering the front desk to exiting we were constantly made to feel welcome from Deli to Jeremy and Christine and to the housekeeping staff who were always around to provide extra items to service the room.
The gymnast was great with everything needed for a work out
The breakfast and dinner menus were more than adequate, service was great and prices reasonable.
As I mentioned the location was perfect for us and in addition Menlo Park Mall was close by for great shopping as well as fine dining.
We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property as I would other Aimbridge managed properties. Thank you GM Richardson and staff for a very pleasant stay.
I would remind my other guests that while not requested, please remember to provide gratuities for the excellence service received by staff.

I've been staying at this Hilton Garden Inn for over 7 years now and it's getting rundown. The room smelled and they had that horrible carpet cleaner to try and hide it. The air conditioner blows too hard and is too loud even at the lowest setting - but if you turn it off you swelter in the night. The shower provides so little water it can barely wash the soap off your body. Not that I cared but the TV was amazingly small (have not seen one like that in a while). I'm a diamond member and spend a lot of time in Hiltons. This hotel just needs renovation. But the staff are super friendly, that's why I gave it two stars instead of 1.

This is the most tired Hilton Garden Inn that I have ever seen! Threadbare towels and comforter, worn flooring, junky shower fixture, etc. The front desk is apathetic, and the breakfast omelet looked like it was prepared by a junior high school student. The only reason that I gave it 2 stars (instead of 1) is the location is convenient if you need a place to crash for a few hours. Avoid!

Friendly staff, welcoming lobby with fireplace and multiple areas to relax or dine, loved the decor. The fresh fruit flavored iced water was a nice touch as well. For dinner I ordered the Chicken flatbread which was delicious. I felt very safe as a female traveling alone and slept great. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

I visited Edison specifically to attend a sports autograph/collectibles show at the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center. I found the rooms to be clean with a comfortable workspace area and working fridge. I slept great here and the temperature settings were perfect. I used the fitness center, which had ample equipment and free weights (pics attached). I flew to the Newark Airport and did not rent a car, so it was nice there was a grill serving breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and a great deli next door (Harold's New York) you could walk to, making it easy to get a meal for a couple of days without a vehicle.
The ride from the airport to the hotel was approximately 25 minutes without traffic. Arriving on a Thursday evening, the cost for an Uber to the hotel was over $100. I took a taxi, which cost $78.21. I paid $44.79 for the Uber ride back to the airport early Sunday morning. Taking Uber to the New Jersey Convention and Expo for two days, the average price was $13.94 each way. It was about a 5 minute ride, and I typically waited 5-10 minutes for a car. I considered walking one day, but it is around 3 miles, and there are no sidewalks to the convention center. The center is located in a business park type area.
Overall, a good stay, and I definitely would return.

The first room we were given had hair all.over the bed sheets. The second room had a blood or something stain on the sheets. I had to show the clerks what I was talking about. Obviously to me as a former hotel manager myself that the manager of this property doe not care about it enough to do his job in inspecting rooms. Or if he does, he is not good enough at his job. This place was absolutely disgusting and I would not recommend you stay here at all.

Staff was awesome. Hotel and room was clean and sanitized, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included in my stay and was very good, got to order fresh omelet and pancakes, not just the regular American breakfast that most places offer (although that was also available)

It was fine, no complaints. Spent a quick one night there for a local concert, and it served its purpose. Everything was kept extremely clean from the parking lot through the lobby and hallways to our room. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be booking again for our next trip to that area.
PS it was much appreciated that the air conditioner was turned up in the room at check in, felt great after being in the outside heat
