Checked in on 4/1 around 11pm a 5 hrs flight delay. I am a Titanium elite member when I checked in I asked for the Food&Beverage credits, however, they night shift manager only gave me half of it. Per Marriott Elite member guarantee terms and conditions, the courtyard hotels will provide $10 F&B vouchers to member + 1, which means I was entitled for 2 $10 f&b vouchers per night. When I brought that to the night shift manager’s attention, the other stuff was agreeing with me, but he got shut down by the night shift manager very quickly. She told me it does not matter what Marriott says, ever hotel does it differently. It was 11pm, and I was traveling with 2 very tired kids, so I did not want to waste any more time with her.

Next morning, I contacted Titanium hotline, opened a case, and provided a copy the Marriott Elite T&C to them. At the end of the day, they provided the additional vouchers to me. And was told that because that night shift manager was a senior stuff so they were not able to do anything until I brought that to the manager’s attention.

My overall experience with this hotel is okay. Besides the night shift manager, everyone else were very friendly. Breakfast Buffett was provided everyday $16.95 for adult and $8.95 for kid, and the employees at the breakfast area provided exceptional service even when they are extremely busy.

The room is small, like almost every other hotels in the area but still above average comparing to Manhattan. However, the sound proof is terrible, we can hear people walking above us.

The location is some how convenient, you can catch bus to Manhattan easily, and there are few fast food restaurant in the walking distance if you are looking for a quick bite.

I was trying to decide between this hotel or Sheraton at Lincoln Harbor. I ended up choosing the Courtyard Edgewater even thought the rate was a little higher, due to the room looks newer, and I always have positive experience with Courtyard when traveling on business. However, I don’t this Courtyard worth the rate.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night back in March and had a really great stay! I needed to go to LGA the next day but did not want to stay at a hotel near the airport, since they all charge way too much for parking. This hotel had free parking, was super close to the GW Bridge and left me only about 20 minutes from where I needed to be the next day. The woman at the front desk who checked me in was really nice and made me feel extremely welcome. My room was clean and comfortable & I got a good night of sleep as well. Checkout the next day was easy and I was off to LGA to start my weekend. I was really happy that I got this hotel on Hotwire and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

I've been a Housekeeping Manager for over 25 years, so I can say the Staff here is truly Amazing! Starting with the GM Lisa, her assistant Angie, Parolo and Jose in Maintenance and I apologize to the front desk staff that I lost the paper with their names. But I didnt forget Fawn V.
Rarely do I meet that employee that just shines head and shoulders over her peers. She switched my room so my daughter could take a bath, remembered her name 3 days later and was genuinely interested in her visit. But the icing on the cake was seeing her 2 days in a row working double shifts cause of a sick coworker. What was truly Amazing was she never complained! My whole family only stays here when we come visit our mom. The rooms are always SPOTLESS! Public space is the same! Shout out to the Houseman who is a Veteran of our military ( Marine)
Who has the same hard working ethic as before. So to recap...if you are looking to stay at a Spotless Hotel, Excellence in Customer service, at a very reasonable price then this is your Hotel! Thank you staff and especially Fawn for making our trip truly memorable!
Sincerely
Chris Kennington

The location of this hotel is great; across the river from Manhattan. Natalie is a gracious front desk manager, who delivers personal customer service. There is free parking in a garage that is a half block from the hotel, along with $20 per day reserved parking just outside the hotel doors. Regrettably, that is all that was good. One morning we were awakened by the next door neighbor's Fire Alarm. When we called the front desk NO ONE answered. I put on a coat to investigate and met the neighbor with the alarm; he told me that the alarm just went off for no reason. As this man and I searched for any hotel employee we wandered around while the phone rang endlessly. At last an employee arrived, took the information, was rude to a caller, but finally got the alarm shut off. Add to that problems with our door lock which caused us to replace keys three times before the engineer was able to replace the lock battery which took care of the issue. Please do not stay here!

This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. It is literally a nightmare. The room was not clean and the bathroom has the remains of the guest before me and there are empty boxes under the sofa. When I went to the reception, they asked me why you didn't tell us in advance as you arrived at the hotel at 12 am and told them the situation of the room The next morning, and this clearly doubted the credibility of the guest. Then, after speaking to the supervisor, he asked me to leave the room until it was cleaned, and I actually did that, and my children and I went out, and for more than two hours it was not cleaned, so I returned with my children to the room without cleaning.

Came late in the night (late arrival was noted on the reservation) - doors were locked and there was nobody at the reception to open the door or pick up the phone. Took another half an hour to get a hold of somebody - seemed like the night clerk was just watching a game in the back room. Once we finally got into the room, there were no towels at all. Kind of a disastrous experience. We were informed about the breakfast hours only to wake up to a closed buffet - apparently they were closing an hour earlier. Luckily there was a Dunkin' nearby. Only good thing about this hotel would be that it was renovated recently and rooms look fresh and clean.

I stayed for 3 nights with my wife, our main purpose was to visit the outlets and do some shopping.

I had 2 main concerns,

First, it seems that the night front desk team are not communicating with the day team, on multiple occasions I requested stuff at night for next day and things didn’t happened.

Second, not able to request housekeeping until the third day of the stay is a bit annoying. Blaming COVID and social distancing is not acceptable anymore in 2022.

Otherwise, on a positive note, peaking price is really competitive and rooms are spacious.

Our overnight stay was wonderful from parking to a restful sleep. Adadina and Thais were friendly and helpful at the front desk. You can park in the hotel's lot for $15/day with in/out privileges. We were able to park even before check-in. We grabbed a bus across the street from the hotel into Times Square - $3.50 cash per person. With bus lanes, our ride was fast and stress-free. Dinner across the street at Lolita's was great. Our room had two large flat screens and plenty of outlets to charge our electronics. The a/c worked well The bathrooms large and clean. The window shades worked great to keep out the sunlight so we could sleep in after a long drive from Maryland and a fun day in NYC. There's a breakfast buffet for about $20 and a Starbuck's. We were on our way to a family gathering in the City so didn't have time. My daughter had an authentic bagel craving and the front desk directed us to Mr. Bagelsworth just down the road. It was a great suggestion. Edgewater is a lovely city and the Edgewater just as lovely. By the way, about 75 yards from the back of the hotel is the river and a great view. There's also a walking trail.

The staff Gloria was very welcoming and generous. We truly appreciated her hospitality. The kids enjoyed the pool and there was restaurants nearby where you could get pizza or things you forgot at the pharmacy. There was a bus that took you straight to the port authority terminal for $3.50 And the bus stop was just across the street was significantly cheaper than staying in Times Square like I did my first trip with my kids and I feel the value that I received from this hotel was amazing. The breakfast was amazing it had eggs hashbrowns, Starbucks, coffee, fresh fruit cereal bacon, sausages, juice, and fresh waffles !

My guest and I were not happy about our stay at your Hotel. I was charged an additional $100 for incidentals that the front desk staff did not provide that information nor were we told there would be a $30 charge for parking, upon our arrival time. I had one car which I am assuming my guest was charged on my card for their parking. Food prices are outrageous, seriously $18.00 for burger and fries, and $15.00 for a cocktail, I could have bought a bottle at the wine and spirit store for that amount. We were under the impression we would have a view of NYC all we saw was an apartment building across from us. In addition, the front desk lied and said the $100 was put back on my card at the time of check out and it is still not showing on my back account. I will posting a review to warn people who come there to stay. Your staff is not friendly and they don’t tell people upon checking in what they will see on their bill when they check out. Needless to say I will never stay here again.
