I traveled in with my family we booked 2 rooms we understood things would be diffrent due to Covid but we in for a big surprise. The rooms were in very ruff condition cleanliness wise we found poop stains on the shower curtain, toilet that wouldn't flush and ran all night, goldfish snacks under the bed and futon the second room we opened the futon there was food particles and a huge stain on the mattress food under the futon, hair on the pillows and we only recieved half a roll of toilet paper. We understood housekeepers not going into the rooms completely understandable however how are we supposed to trust that the proper procedure are being followed to sanitize the rooms during this covid of the rooms lack simple cleaning. We had 2 children that were restricted to touch anything and had stay over relatives house for the night. I expressed this to the front office agent whom simply apologised for the inconvenience and stated would talk to a housekeeping manager. I recieved no call back no email nothing. I even sent an email to corporate stating I wanted to show them pictures and still nothing. Very disappointing as this has been go to hotel and have become familiar with the staff. Simple if you cant live up to regular Hotel standards you should not be open.

Dear 0328Nana, We sincerely regret your experience. This is definitely not up to our standards. I have taken note and wish to thank you for all your valuable comments regarding the cleanliness of the room. Marriott recently announced the creation of the Marriott Global Cleanliness Council – consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations. While Marriott’s council develops its work, the company has initiated plans to roll out enhanced technologies at its properties over the next few months, including electrostatic sprayers that allow for touchless disinfecting capabilities. The magnetically charged droplets produced by the electrostatic sprayers seek out and coat hard to reach areas and surfaces typically missed in standard cleaning processes. In its everyday cleaning, Marriott will also be using the highest classification of disinfectants recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization to treat known pathogens. We hope this has restored your faith in us and that we have the opportunity to serve you better on a return visit. Sincerely, Nimmi Kaur General Manager

Location : 4/5 Since it is surrounded mostly by industrial businesses / offices, there is not much walking you can do, due to the lack of sidewalks. Proximity to the Metlife stadium is good, if you are into watching the games.
Check-in / Check-out : 5/5 It was an absolute breeze and Jared ensured of a smooth process.
Front Desk : 5/5 Kim ensures guests feel At home by striking great conversations and taking care of requests promptly. She also goes out of the way to help guests find their way around.
Room : 4.5/5 Well lit and spacious. You get what you see (I got the King double) in pictures. The rooms near the building front / rear exits can catch some of the noise from the parking lot where people smoke.
In-room Amenities : 5/5 stove, pots & pans, cutlery, glassware - more than enough to be self sufficient
Restaurant : 5/5 Standard breakfast includes breads, cereals, waffles, and one or two meats. Camille takes care of guests with a smile every morning.
House-keeping : 5/5 The housekeeping service was very prompt and neat. The staff are also very friendly. Special shout out to Ramona.

My family and I stayed together in a 2 bedroom suite for a night to celebrate my niece’s birthday so we could swim and play together. Our time together was great, but there were some pros and quite a few cons to this hotel.
Pros: The suite was on the 6th floor near the elevator; but it was very quiet. It had a very nice appearance all around from the kitchen, to the bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. Having a full refrigerator was useful. The rubber duckies by the tub was a nice touch for the kids.
Cons: The pool was ICE COLD. We figured the point of indoor swimming was to NOT be cold. It was so cold, that the adults couldn’t even go in. The hot tub is in serious need of a scrubbing but we went in even tho there was about 10 kids unsupervised in it before us. The tile around the pool is DANGEROUS. It is so slippery when wet. On the way out of the pool area, I tried to fill my water bottle at the water fountain and the water was so cloudy, it was WHITE. I showed it to the front desk associate and she was so embarrassed, she gave us water bottles for free. On the way up in the elevator, it was making so much noise banging and clanging that I thought we were going to get stuck. When I went to take a shower, I tried to turn the shower head towards me and it wouldn’t face the middle. But it wasn’t fully secured to the wall either so I was moving the whole pipe trying. The “full American breakfast” was O-K”. I’m not entirely sure they were real eggs. The chicken sausage was weird. The French toast sticks were soggy. One of the two waffle irons kept having the waffles stick no matter how much spray you put on it (we had a good view of the waffle mishaps).
I enjoyed the coffee and my sleep tho. Bright side?

We stayed one night with our son and daughter and their three small kids to celebrate our granddaughter’s birthday. We wanted a 2 bedroom suite where we would all have room to spend time together. We also wanted a place with a nice pool. The suite was ok. Somewhat spacious, However the couch needs to be replaced as it is horribly uncomfortable and sags in the middle. The rooms were clean and it was nice to have a full kitchen, especially having 3 small kids with us. I was disappointed as I had requested more towels, pillows and shampoo through the Marriott app the day before but none of the items were ever delivered. I had also requested a pack n play for our young grandson when I booked 5e room but that was not in the room either. It was a good thing our son had packed one,of their own.
The pool water was very cold and while the kids somewhat enjoyed it, it was way too cold for the adults to goin and for the baby. The hot tub temp was comfortable but it certainly could use a good cleaning.
Be aware that with the opening of the American Dream Mall in the meadowlands, there are a lot of kids in this hotel now. And so many of them were not the best behaved, jumping in the hot tub, diving in the pool, going into the fitness room and playing on the machines when they were soaking wet. The management did seem to be trying to address some of these problems, but the pool is small and the volume level with 25 screaming kids was unbearable.
Breakfast buffet was good and all items were readily available and were constantly refilled.
Would we stay here again? Most likely not.

The place needs better cleaning. Keys stopped working all of a sudden. It was not nice if your room is in high storie. The best part was we could take public transportation to NYC easily from this location.

While not fancy, this is a solid reliable hotel. Very convenient location close to Giants/Jets Stadium and American Dream Mall. It is also a short drive to the N Bergen Park/Ride for those wanting to get to the city. Rooms are good size with full working kitchen and a full size fridge. The only issue we had is that the property seems to have incurred Long COVID. They still have limited housekeeping (every other day) and while it's been a while we've been to a Residence Inn, they said that they've dropped the evening food offerings. They said this went way with COVID. Not a lot of perks for Marriott Elite members. Overall, good value for the price.

Although I highly recommend this hotel .I suggest that you provide the Columbian food manager with the proper training she needs to improve her customer service skills because she has a very rude and nasty attitude. Last, due to proper protocols I believe that she should wear a hair net so that her long hair will not contaminate the food. Other than that the rest of the staff were amazing and I will be back.

We came down from Toronto for a few days. Family of 4 with 2 kids (2yo & 6yo). We chose the King suite for space, microwave and fridge. Our main focus was to visit American Dream Mall for Nickelodeon/ Dreamworks and quick visit to NYC.
Convenient close drive to American dream approx 10min and 20min to Times Square (depending on what time you go). The hotel is located in an industrial business area so don’t expect much looking outside or walking around. The hotel is a bit dated but they keep It clean and presentable. The only issue I had upon arriving and departing was the automatic doors to keep open. They were not working on both sides of the building. It could have been useful when pushing in or out a trolley full of luggages but it’s not a deal breaker or end of the world. I didn’t even bother complaining about it to them. Everything was working in the room and was clean. The pictures I viewed on the internet matched exactly what I expected.
On my second day I had a slight issue with a breaker being tripped. Javier at the desk was professional on handling the situation. He came up and opened the panel and switched it back on. Awesome service.
The sofa bed is not the greatest or even close to terrible depending on the size of person. The actual mattress barely gives any support. It’s recommended to keep children on it than adults in my opinion,
The complimentary breakfast was basic and it serves it purpose. I would say they did a great job on hosting it. Coffee, cereal, oatmeal, bagel, fruits, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches and fruits. I was happy with what they served. I ate it for 2 days.
Overall it was a good experience and it was what I expected. The price is a great value. I would recommend this hotel for families. I would come here again.
Thank you for keep up to your standards. Much appreciated

This was our second stay at this facility. We'd stayed here in the fall, and were very impressed. We were assigned the same 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite we'd stayed in the previous visit, #624. First thing we noticed upon checking in was that the suite was COLD. We had no HOT water that night. The room's heating system was inoperable, and the rooms were freezing cold. An engineer came up and replaced the thermostat, but it still didn't do much to heat the room. We had to use the fireplace all night, jumping up in 30-minute intervals to keep it going. Next morning, one of our party went to the gym, returned, tried to shower, and had no water at all. She had to do a hand wash in the sink in icy cold water. Then she found the water had come back in the shower, but only the cold water. She took an ICY shower. Another one of our party also ran out of hot water and all water. At about the same time. In addition, the hotel began testing the fire alarms in the morning, scared us half to death, as we'd been given no notice, no courtesy of a heads up that this would be happening. They tested them THREE TIMES! Engineers were called back in to try and resolve the issue of no heat and no hot water (and intermittently NO water at all). They seemed stupefied by the problem. The front desk did offer to allow us to change suites, but by that time two of our party were out on their business appointment, and that would have left the remaining female to tote everything to the new room herself. By the time the business appointment was done, everyone was far too exhausted to make the swap, so another night was spent in a cold room, with no hot water for showers. The ice maker in the freezer wasn't working, either, and the dishwasher was leaking all over the floor in the kitchen. Eventually, the hotel comped us for both nights, but the experience left us shaken and scarred and unlikely to stay here again.
