We were seeing a concert at PNC Bank Arts Center and didn’t want to drive the 2 hours back to Connecticut. The hotel did its job - the check in staff was nice and helpful. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus before the concert. We wanted to get a drink and have some food at the bar but it was closed by 11pm, so we found a nearby diner instead. The bed was comfortable, but the water pressure in the shower was terrible!

Mitchellaneous, we appreciate your feedback about our restaurant hours and water pressure and positive comments about our property as well. We are so happy that our location helped you make your hotel decision - we are very conveniently located at the crossroads of the NJ Turnpike, Route 1 and Route 18. Thank you again for staying with us!

This is clearly a hotel that is intended to be used as a convention center as they have well over 20 conference rooms of varying sizes on the second and third floors. The hotel itself is fairly well maintained during the extended pandemic that is obviously greatly impacting their business. For example, the restaurant is only open for breakfast Friday through Sunday mornings offering pretty much everything Hilton is known for, but that is it. If you want something else to eat, the relatively modern Starbucks in the main lobby is open 6:30 am to 1 pm and again in the evening offering prepacked sandwiches, soups, and other items.

As far as the parking garage goes it is not manned, so you better understand how to enter and exit the parking garage. One driver could not figure it out to exit my last day there and caused a massive backup despite other drivers trying to help him (I think he did not pay). So a Hilton employee ran over, collected the cash, and then opened the gateway to let everyone else leave as there were 9 cars in line trying to exit with the one person blocking it. That was not the fault of Hilton, but for the driver failing to follow instructions.

Nothing is open so you better not expect to go swimming, use the gym, or any of the other facilities advertised. The Hilton website actually warns you of this so we did not expect anything otherwise. Those complaining about the service expect a full service hotel and for a convention center, that is not going to happen.

The room was cleaned as expected, and the room quality was fine. Note the lighting inside is a little dark so for women trying to put makep on it is not the most encouraging environment. Opening the shades and bringing in natural light made it acceptable but we had sunny days to allow this to work. The only problem with the room itself (1048) was that the hot water faucet for the sink was leaking at the base a little and needs to be fixed.

The service was acceptable and pleasant. We had four staying in our room so the standard king sized bed and queen sized sofa bed works - but they forgot to make the sofa bed. So we had to call to get a duvet ands sheets which they delivered in ten minutes, perfectly acceptable. We asked for triple sheeting for the duvet and they delivered the extra sheet in only 5 more minutes. We really could not ask for more.

Overall, I gave this four stars because they are trying very hard to give you a good stay with the restrictions in place considering the financial stress they must be under considering it is a massive convention center with no conventions going on now for over 18 months. Hopefully things change soon so they can start hosting events again and bring everything back on line.

Stayed overnight. Hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean and spacious. Lighting in rooms could be brighter. Mattress was too soft for my taste. The lack of a restaurant or room service during the week was a let down. Only very expensive snacks were available at the front desk and Starbucks which had limited hours.

During our stay at the Hilton in East Brunswick, my boyfriend and I were greeted by the Manager, Wanda Vega. Even through the face masks you could see her welcoming smile. She made the check in experience so joyful and I honestly wanted to stay at the front desk longer just to continue conversing with her! She was very helpful during check out and allowed a later check out time due to my flight being delayed. The Hilton itself is exceptionally clean, beautiful decor, when you walk in the front doors you’ll be drawn to the waterfall alone! I highly recommend this hotel and I will always come back any time I’m in town.

I want to make this very clear, I'm leaving this not to bash the hotel, but if I had known we wouldnt have gotten any sleep I would have stayed elsewhere or just woken up 2 hours early and driven to new Brunswick for our meeting. We live 2 hours away, and had an early meeting, so we stayed up here so we could get a good nights sleep and stay close to the meeting. We arrived, the women were very nice, the hotel was very nice, we thought everything was nice. We entered our room, and it was hot. Around 75° I turned it down to 60° to cool it off while we went down to the pool. We came back an hour later, and it was still hot. I called the front desk, and the woman was very nice and sent a guy up immediately. He came in, did his thing, and said it was good to go. We left for dinner, and came back around 10 pm, went to the bar, and came back to the room, and it was still very hot. I went down and asked the man, if we could move rooms, he then said it wasnt necessary, that he would make sure it was fixed. The guy came, said it was fixed, and was on his way. My wife went to bed, I went down to the bar and had one more drink. I came back, it was still very hot, my wife was in a deep sleep, so not wanting to wake her I figured I would try to just take a cold shower and get to sleep. 2 am we both wake up...the thermostat is now reading that the room temp is at 78° and yet it's been set to 60°. Were both wide awake. I go back down to the desk, a different guy is working, he now sends a guy up, but says we can switch rooms. Its 230 am, we have to get up at 7. We didnt want to pack all of our stuff up at 230, and go through the process of switching rooms, and hope to get back to sleep. So we decided to gamble on the guy finally fixing it. The 3rd guy came up, said he finally fixed it. My wife was up for another cpl hours and was in and out of sleep, I was up the whole night. The temp was at 78° now, just rising. Upon checkout I told the woman who was working, and she was great. She discounted the room, which I did appreciate. My point here is that the staff in general was very accommodating, the room was very nice, the hotel was clean, but in the end...the reason we decided to stay here was bc we wanted sleep. Which we had none. So I would have gladly rated our experience 5 stars if we had actually gotten sleep, but I'm giving it a low rating because we didnt get any sleep at all. I would have gladly spent more money, just to ensure I had gotten a full nights rest. So sorry front desk, and staff...you guys were great, but that thermostat was brutal.

I cannot believe your staff lied to us prior to booking this reservation as well as just now when I was trying to confirm out family vacation to The Hilton East Brunswick. I called two weeks prior to making the reservations and the fromt desk associate a lady picked the phone up and confirmed your jacuzzi and indoor and outdoor pool was working. Now I called and your fromt desk associate said that your pool and jacuzzi hasn’t been working in months and he could not cancel my appointment and refund my points. Now I am on the phone for almost 30 minutes with Hilton honor and they cannot reach the fromt desk associate to try and help me deal with this issue. How can Hilton treat a Hilton honors member as such. My wife and kids are very disappointed being that we were looking to this vacation time away and your hotel staff dropped the ball on this. This is the reason why I am so faithful to my Marriott Bonvoy membership. What am I to do now?

My initial room did not have a fridge, but they were able to move me to one that did. The heating/cooling did not work on the first night. My bathroom drain was clogged, and the maintenance person put the clog into my toilet which resulted in a giant clump of hair floating in my toilet when I returned in the evening and the toilet being clogged. The tv's are old and do not offer Netflix access. I had a connecting room, and I could hear EVERYTHING the person next to me was saying. He was having a rough week. The bartender in the lounge is wonderful though, so stop in for a drink!

I almost never write reviews but the management was so helpful at our stay that I wanted to acknowledge the customer service. We arrived at the restaurant after it closed and they allowed us to sit and order. Everyone was extremely kind and no one acted like we were getting special treatment. We went for a Rutgers football game weekend and beds were very comfortable, it was clean and I did not experience the cramped COVID descriptions described in other comments. I felt very comfortable and many people had masks.

I just arrived at this hotel and feel completely disappointed, first of all do NOT believe in the photos they show because it’s way worst. At the reception was horrible. The receptionist man took long doing the checking, he did it without informing that he did not have the rooms we booked and gave us other rooms. When we complained about it he said he can’t do anything, he does not have the rooms available, he also mentioned we can take it or leave it because he is the only manager at night. Is this the way @Hilton treats their guests and what’s kind of hospitality this man studied? Unfortunately we are too far from home and it’s too late to find another place, if that was not the case we would’ve cancel the reservation as soon as we saw the rooms. By the way they do not offer room service. In the reservation parking is included but when you come here they will charge you 14 dollars and feel offended if you say something about it. Can’t wait for it to be tomorrow, get out of this places and never come back.

The room and hotel itself was top notch, a bit outdated, but on brand with Hilton. Breakfast is good, but not cheap. Service staff top notch. The deal breaker here is that they are located off of 95 and if you do not have a car, the two closest NJ Transit/Amtrak stations are miles away. At least an hour walk to New Brunswick Station, which is two stops back from the Hotel if you are headed to NYC or EWR airport. Rideshares are expensive as well. Hotel of this magnitude with a conference center should have a shuttle service even if they charged 5-10 bucks a head.

Not that I am aware of at this time. However, you are close to the main campus of Rutgers University. There many great pubs and resturantes that may have a pool table. Just a short drive, Uber or cab ride to downtown.

Hello Shannon L, Thank you so much for reaching out! While breakfast is not included in the basic room rate for Hiltons, we do offer a delicious buffet for $15 (exclusive of tax/tip) per person. In addition to a variety of hot and cold displays- coffee, juice and made to order omelettes are also included in that price. Looking forward to the possibility of having you with us! Front desk service at this hotel is..perfunctory, regardless of whom you're being waited on by. They're also understaffed at peak times, which is annoying considering you have to get parking validated there daily.
