Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great location with food options within walking distance but the hotel needs updating inside/out. Don't like the front desk staff makes a photo copy of your driver's license. Also, the staff could benefit from customer service training

Stay away because they will rob you and treat you like an animal. God forbid you want extra comfort like an extra towel or maybe you need help with an allergy and need to be in a certain environment. They rejected everything for no reason and I’m appalled. this is not the place for any reason to stay.

For a change, I ordered French Toast with bananas and strawberries. Delicious, but so much food I couldn t quite finish it. We had about 40 people at the meeting, so the staff was hopping. Convenient location right off Route 3.

I read reviews, and I tried to forgive the cleanliness when I arrived but it was odorous throughout the place and not at all clean. I stayed 5 days, but the room was only cleaned once as I worked overnights which I tried to explain at check in

During check in, I told him that I was working overnights and was still going to leave that day but much later as I needed to sleep before my overnight shift. While that Friday everyone seemed accomodating, come Wednesday there was incessant banging on the door, please call the front desk, "no, you need to come down here," and then, "well, we have no note of this, you need to pay $80 for another night" Fine, I'm trapped, I need to sleep. Thank you for making me walk down in bare feet to take my money when you seemed to understand 4 days ago at check in

Make better notes. Take better care of your customers please. Horrible service
And yes, cleanliness was as terrible as reviews say - which given service I have a hard time forgiving now. Would never stay here again

After reading the woeful reviews prior to arriving this past weekend, I was weary about staying, and almost cancelled. My wife, son and I were in for a three day weekend to spend with family.

It's true about the physical location of the property. It's heyday as a 70's resort is long gone. The physical depreciation of the old hotel is definitely visible. And the local clientele seems to be on par with the worn appearance.

However, the room we were assigned on the third floor was really nice! It was clean, with nice dressers, tasteful lamps, a dorm frig and microwave. It included a 48" 4K Television, which was a very nice surprise, with most, if not all HBO channels for free.

The beds were super comfortable, an opinion shared by me, my wife and my son. A large light paneled mirror in the bathroom made personal grooming easy, and the shower was in decent shape. No hot water, or water pressure issues at all,

The front desk staff was very nice, and helpful. Penal (?) in particular was super nice. The housekeeping staff, while did not respond to our good mornings, was efficient, and detailed, cleaning our room each night.

Overall, the experience far exceeded our expectations, especially for the room rate.

If you're able to overlook the cosmetic blemishes of the building, you'll find a really good deal. It's apparent the hotel is really making an effort, and isn't that what anyone can ask?

This location advertises amenities that they dont have. They do not have vending machines, a business center, working ice machines and high speed internet, and no working phones in guest rooms among other things. They have a coin laundry service but you can't get any change from the front desk to use it. I asked for towels because I had been there a week with NO ONE coming in to clean or to ask me if I needed fresh linens and they didnt have any to give me. I asked for clean sheets for the bed and they didnt have those either. I ended up driving to a store to get quarters to wash the dirty towels and the dirty sheets in my room so that I could then use them. Not to mention the staff is rude and clearly angry they are working. NO ONE was helpful or even cared about any of my concerns and the darn key cards never worked.

This has got to be the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in...and I have stayed many. First, I will start by saying, their site says they have a bar and a restaurant and they do not. There isn't even one nextdoor. The rooms are very dated and I don't think they have ever replaced anything. The bed bowed in the middle and I woke up very sore. Just an all around bad experience. When I arrived and asked about the bar, the women basically laughed in my face. I said excuse me to ask another question and was ignored. The cleaning people were still cleaning at 2 am and you can here every single noise through the walls. It sounded like someone was stomping around in the room above us all night. I would not recommend this hotel, ever!

Rooms were clean. The bathroom needed to be cleaned alittle better, they had moldy grout. Staff needs to speak english when assisting customers. Carry on with their conversations in their native language when done assisting customers
