I stayed there this last week and it was a very pleasant stay. I got the room on the first floor that I wanted, it's has a small fridge and microwave, very comfortable furniture, my room had a great bathroom, great water pressure in the shower. The staff was awesome the night clerk Maria is so kind and friendly. They have a small cafe on the property with a great choice of food and snacks and drinks. And a bar and restaurant if you want. It's right off the Garden State Parkway and walking distance to shopping and food stores. There is also a golf course with a great restaurant right by the shopping center. You can drive to dairy queen or a card smart for half price greeting cards. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

So Ive stayed at this hotel off and on for a while now. I visit my sister nearby quite often. So this hotel as far as Im concerned is the ONLY hotel I will stay at in this area. I love this hotel and for many reasons. First its clean,safe and sanitized.They are always wiping and cleaning inside and outside mostly every time I leave the room. They have a kitchen which I order from and food/snacks/drinks already prepared fresh in house. This is big for me I like food! The room has everything you want cable tv fridge etc.Housekeeping is on point with cleaning my room and keeping me stocked with towels and supplies. The bed and comforter is top quality and very comfortable. But my favorite part is the staff. They are all so genuine and kind. They are honestly the best top to bottom hotel staff Ive ever met. The Managers Kathy and Key are phenominal. They've made me feel like a VIP every single trip. They know their guests and Ive met alot of ppl here that are repeat guests and love it here like I do. The desk staff-Albania,Hesh,Bharat always great me with a smile and they always ask me if I need anything. This really goes a long way brightening my day especially when you are staying alone as I am. I feel so happy,safe and comfortable at Holiday Inn Clark NJ. Its my home away from home.

Amazing friendly and professional staff. Kathy, Key, Gia, Bahrat and the front desk staff are amazing and make you feel at home from the moment you step in the door. Check in is a quick and painless operation, they are extremely professional and know exactly how to get people in and settled. The rooms are super clean and well cared for. When you’re ready for something to eat or drink, just head downstairs to the bar/restaurant, and Cecelia will take your order. Larry is a one man machine, cooking all the food, and preparing breakfasts and sandwiches daily for the grab and go counter, as well as restocking all the sodas and desserts in the pantry fridge and freezer.
Complimentary coffee is ready before you wake up (I wake up early) with all the fixins. Overall, just an amazing place with amazing people. I spend most of my life on the road, and this is one of the absolute best places I’ve stayed throughout my years.

Says newly renovated but the carpeting in the 3rd floor and in 328 is filthy and has never even been cleaned. False Advertising. A/C Heating unit blowing out air with terrible smell and have requested new filter. Awakened Sunday morning by very loud voices and music from ballroom below me from church service. Am recording on my iPhone to play for General Manager tomorrow. Called front desk for 15 minutes and nobody picked up because only one person working and asked to speak with the manager and she was the manager, so short staffed. Housekeeping is fantastic. Computers in the lobby have NO chairs to sit on to use them. TV went out in the entire hotel last night and is still out this morning. Holiday Inn should be embarrassed to attach their name to this property and I will be writing my first letter to them describing my experience as a customer for over 40 years.

Stayed here for one night with my sports team. Rented 14 rooms and it was a nightmare. Many of the girls asked to change rooms because their rooms smelled of cigarettes. Hotel is extremely old. We paid $125 per room and that was so overpriced for the quality of rooms and service. Do NOT stay here.

This hotel advertises as an award winning, boutique-style, full service hotel. It's anything but. Food service involves stale breakfast sandwiches for sale, soft drink vending machines that are usually out of service on most floors, outdated rooms and caters to tour buses visiting New York looking for budget travelers. We stayed here multiple times over the past few years visiting family in the area. This hotel has increased their prices and lowered their service to the point where it is much more practical to stay in the Woodbridge area where there are plenty of hotel choices at much better rates and service.

Our power went out due to the recent storm. My family needed a good nights sleep, especially my 7 year old. I wanted to stay at a hotel but was concerned about Covid exposure. My friend Cecilia T. recommended the Holiday Inn at Clark and I am so happy I took her advice!
The hotel was very clean! They took all the proper precautions for Covid. Everyone including hotel guests wore masks and practiced social distancing. The staff is very nice and really make you feel welcome, especially Albania at the front desk. I had some requests and she took care of it right away. Kathy, the manager, was also helpful at check-in. She seems very committed to her staff and guests. I would have given them 5 stars but I had to take one star away because of the gentleman at the front desk at night. I believe he told me he is new. However, he needs proper training on how to wear a mask as he does not cover his nose and needs to improve customer service. He does not seem enthusiastic about working at the hotel. He does not look at you when you are talking to him.
The room was clean, TV big, bed comfy and clean. AC was great and cool. Not like some hotels were its gets hot in the middle of the night. Shower had strong water pressure. We slept so well and such a good experience that we stayed 2 more nights! We will definitely stay again if needed and will recommend to visiting relatives.

So this is my favorite home away from home. Ive stayed 3 seperate times in past few months. This hotel is clean and up to standards on covid(hand sanitizer stations,shields,cleaning).The rooms are clean,beds are comfy and comforters are too(look new).There are tv(cable),fridge and everything else you need. The air conditioning has low setting of 45°! So you can have the the room as cool or warm as you want which is so awesome in hot summer days. Lastly the staff is simply the best Ive encountered in all my travels. Kathy the manager is so friendly and helpful. I had some requests and she helped without issue. The rest of the staff are all so helpful and accomodating. Mr.Hesh and Mr Key helped me extend multiple times without issue. I was able to keep same room which was nice and convienent. All the other staff members were also so nice and helpful. At no time did I feel anything I asked for was an issue. Customer service is big with me having been in it myself. Every staff member takes your concerns or issues seriously and treats you with the highest respect. This is VERY rare to find these days. This Holiday Inn is a gem. And this is during Covid! I can imagine how much better it is when the pool and restaurant reopen. So if you are planning on staying in Clark area stay at the Holiday Inn 36 Valley Rd Clark NJ. Itll be worth your time and money.

We planned a wonderful group trip to top golf but needed somewhere very clean, close to top golf and with comfortable beds.
We had 5 rooms and everyone thought the experience was great.
Rooms are perfectly clean as is facility
Everyone we met was very helpful (especially Lori and and man working at the front desk checking us in)

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn in Clark, NJ many times. It is clean and safe. My room is cleaned to my liking. It right off the Garden State parkway, easy on easy off. It's very close to a shopping center, it's with in walk distance or drive if you want. If you don't want to leave they have a bar and restaurant for the evening. They have a store for the little things you may want and a food bar for breakfast food Larry the cook is a great cook, he made me some awesome omelette. The staff is awesome, great group of people. Stop in and stay for a safe and comfortable stay.

I don't believe so but there are stores within an easy walking distance.
There is a free Wi-Fi and as said, breakfast is not free. I would suggest that you call the hotel for answers to your other questions.
Provides shuttle to Rahway train station which will take you to NYC or Newark airport via NJ Transit.
