We stayed for a wedding over the weekend. The location was picturesque and the room was good. The springs in the hybrid bed stuck in your side while sleeping. Dust was left behind on the bathroom table underneath the sink.
The food served during the banquet and following morning left much on the table for improvement.
For instance, vegetables and pasta were good but the chicken breasts were like hockey pucks - dry and overcooked. The soda was flat and tasteless. The buffet in the morning was average. They failed to replenish the bacon and the scrambled eggs were cold. There were many items to choose but these issues were not satisfactory.

Nice place in an out-of-the-way location. Clean; quiet; very comfortable bed. One great plus is Karen, the cook at their all-you-can-eat ($15) breakfast buffet. I never order an omelet out because I get served a runny mess. Karen gave me exactly what I asked for. Also, the buffet had ripe blackberries. Not those look-good/tasteless display ones; ripe and sweet. I'd actually recommend the place for breakfast even if you weren't staying there. But the place was really nice, friendly personnel and all. I recommend it.

We traveled from Pittsburgh and after staying at another Holiday Inn near Harrisburg we stayed at this hotel on our way to New York City. The check-in was fast and pleasant. Though the room was smaller, it was well kept and clean. We had a good sleep and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast service was not so great. We do recommend this hotel.

We always stay here when we are in the area...Booked this hotel two weeks ago for the simple fact there is a pool and a hot tub since a hot tub is pertinent to my medical condition/// Upon arrival I was informed the pool and hot tub were closed due to maintenence....Had I known in advance I would have booked another hotel near by to have use of the hot tub or went in an entirely different location and booked another IHG hotel which would provide the amenities I booked here to receive . So now i'm here for 3 nights with only the amenity of a hotel room Not good!

My girlfriend and I stayed here on a last minute decision to get a hotel. The staff were kind and courteous and did not wake us up at 7 AM like other hotels have in the recent past. Everything was clean and neat and there were cards in the room outlining what the staff was doing to keep guests safe during COVID.
One thing that was mentioned was that they removed all items from the room such as coffee makers, etc. However, there was a coffee maker (Keurig style) in our room but I did not use it.

Hotel curtains are flimsy sheers which let the light shine through. Awoke at 4.30 am with light pouring in the room and by 5.30 am full sun shining in Our room was situated adjacent to mechanical equipment housed on the roof - especially noticeable at night. The hotel was full (due to a wedding) so we were unable to change rooms.
The hotel shop was out of stock of most snacks. We completed the breakfast room service menu (the hang door form that was left in our room) and then discovered room service is no longer being offered! Why give us the form then?
Our sheets did not smell fresh and had a musty odor to them - they were all wrinkled and not crisp. I couldn’t say they were dirty but definitely not clean smelling and freshly laundered. The room was clean but only 2 hangers were provided in the closet- not sufficient for a couple staying 2 nights.
I would not recommend staying here

My daughter was married at WaterLoo Village first of all communication was terrible with my the manager they ghosted my daughter and wouldn't get back to her or her husband about bar being opened for the after party for guests totally stressing them out . Place is a little run down our room was clean but the hotel smelled like sewer. One of the bridal party's room toilet overflowed. My son in law went to the grooms room only to find his stuff being emptied out first of all it wasn't check out time and he never checked out so why touch his belongings. We thought his room was going to be comped they did for one night they should have done for both nights. I would stay at the Marriott next door it looks new and has a free breakfast maybe treats their brides and grooms better. The girls at the front desk were wonderful and helpful.

express Big hotel. Old hotel. Front desk staff was engaged in a conversation with each other and not with the customers. The elevators were located some distance from the lobby and were not clean. There were a number of hand sanitizing stations but all were empty with the exception of a huge bottle on the floor at the entry to the pool.
No microwave. Icemaker on our floor didn't work and the one on the floor above was missing a place to set the ice bucket while filling with ice.
We were in a "handicapped" room as no other room was availableand all the Holiday Inn Express locations were booked. We had been traveling all day. We both wanted a shower but, we had to tolerate a flooded bathroom floor as there was no way to keep the water from just running out onto the floor and still have the shower accessible

We recently stayed at this Holiday Inn for a wedding and were very disappointed with our overall experience. Our rooms all had moisture issues (no ventilation in the bathrooms), we had a bug in one of our beds and dirty pillow covers. The pool was dirty with scum floating around. The hotel is old and poorly kept up. Definitely not up to par with the Holiday Inn banner. Would not recommend, stay at the Marriott across the street instead.

Had a nice visit with the grandkids this weekend. Enjoyed the Holiday Inn, Budd Lake. Eugene at the front desk was awesome, provided great service and and had a very positive attitude! Grandkids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The room was good and the faculties were clean.
