Tandem Bike Inn provides great service and is clean/extremely well maintained! Mike and Ann Marie are very welcoming and were very quick to respond to my texts regarding bike share and dietary restrictions with breakfast. They also took proper care in setting policies and procedures for themselves and guests during this time of Covid 19. Hand sanitizers are available when you walk in, breakfast is delivered contactless, face covering policy in the common areas and more. I’m happy to have stayed here and definitely recommend.

Mike and Anne Marie provided outstanding hospitality and wonderful conversation and information about the Belmar area during our 3 night stay. The rooms and common areas were impeccably clean and welcoming. We were also impressed by security measures taken upon entering and leaving the building and our room. No one entered our room until after we checked out and provisions were made for clean towels and trash removal by placing used items outside our door. We also took advantage of a full breakfast on the outside porch each morning, prepared by Anne Marie herself, a wonderful cook. We will certainly make the Tandem Bike Inn our home away from home the next time we visit Belmar.

We had a wonderful time... everything was just perfect. Our room was so quaint...and so clean. We loved the jetted tub..and hardwood floors. And the porch was so relaxing..and the homemade baked goods a plus. Masks we're worn by all...felt very clean and sanitized.

My husband took me to Tandem Bike Inn in Belmar, NJ for my birthday weekend. I loved the location, the beautiful house and front porch, the clean, cute rooms and the amazing personal service from Mike and AnneMarie. We felt at home when we arrived and especially appreciated the homemade cookies waiting for us in our room. Mike greeted us and took us to our room to explain how everything worked (including a jacuzzi tub) and any changes made due to COVID. Everything was clean and sanitized. The room itself was quiet and really big with a king bed and sitting area. Masks were required in all common spaces. We never felt unsafe at all. The short walk to the beach was pleasant, as was just sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs. The porch was set up so you could eat your meals outside, if desired. The downtown restaurants were also very close within walking distance. Bike use and the indoor dining area were suspended due to COVID, as were available beach passes, so check before you go. It wasn’t a problem for us as we bought daily passes at the beach and the walk was only a few blocks. Breakfast was included and kindly brought to our door each morning so we could eat in our room. The homemade scones and cookies and brownies were delicious! They accommodated my dairy allergy and went above and beyond to offer vegan options with my food and coffee (Keurig in the room). They even assisted with my allergies to scents in the room. I’d highly recommend staying at this beautiful, friendly B&B for any occasion or beach get-away. We hope to visit again!

Everything about Tandem Bike Inn was lovely. The cleanliness, presentation and location were great. Our room was cozy and homey. My partner and I loved it. The outdoor area was really nice and comfortable as well. The regulations set forth for COVID made me and my partner feel extra safe and they still accommodated breakfast by bringing the breakfast to the room in a cute little box to minimize contact (and they did this for clean towels as well). The location was great – it was right in between the town and the beach (each was walking distance). Also the parking was very convenient too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning! 5 stars.

Anne Marie and Mike operate a warm and friendly B&B. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable while allowing you to have your privacy . You can tell they enjoy what they’re doing. Breakfasts are homemade and really hit the spot.Anne Marie is open to accommodate any food allergies. Quality resort beach towels are provided free of charge, along with beach chairs and beach tags. Their B&B is immaculate. Covid protocols are followed along with proof of vaccination. ( masks are not required )

This was our first time at Tandem Bike but it definitely won't be our last.
Mike and Anne Marie are wonderful hosts. Their B and B is welcoming and beautifully decorated. They do an excellent job in making sure that the rooms are cleaned and disinfected with EPA approved antibacterial cleaners.
In addition to a wonderful breakfast, each day you are treated to delicious cookies/brownies....yummy.
Close to restaurants and the beach.

This was our second annual visit to the Tandem Bike Inn! Ann Marie and Mike were wonderful and accommodating hosts as always. They were more than happy to accommodate my food allergies and Ann Marie’s cooking and treats were delicious every morning. Their COVID procedures make you feel safe while still allowing you to enjoy your vacation. The location is close enough to the beach that you can ride one of their beautiful tandems if you like. We love the atmosphere of TBI and will be back soon!

What a wonderful stay!! Anne Marie and Mike were so sweet and accommodating with all the requests I had. The Tandem Inn was spotless which made me feel very comfortable during these crazy times. They are taking every precaution to follow all the Covid state laws. It was our first venture staying outside of our house since Covid started and I was a bit worried. We will be staying with them again soon. Thank you Anne Marie and Mike for such a fabulous stay.

My partner and I stayed one night at Tandem Bike Inn during a mini getaway to the shore. Traveling even for a short break nowadays can cause a bit of anxiety, but communication by the owners beforehand and during was excellent. Covid protocols were written down clearly and everything went as planned. When we arrived, Mike greeted us wearing his mask, took us up to our spotlessly clean room. He was extremely friendly and responded to my texts quickly. A bottle of wine was delivered to our room as soon as I requested it and when we were ready to go on a bike ride, he had two bikes already waiting for us when we stepped outside. The jacuzzi tub was the perfect way to relax after the bike ride. Sleep quality was great here too, super comfortable bed and a very quiet street. Common areas are off limits at the moment, so in lieu of a full breakfast, a box filled with pastries and fruit was placed outside our door in the morning. The scones and brownies were delicious!
We hope to visit again once the current health crisis improves to fully enjoy this great B&B. We really appreciated the minimal contact and the owners did not sacrifice great service one bit. It's important to support businesses like this, where everything feels personalized and the guest is truly cared for.
We would also recommend it to anyone traveling without a car, like we did. It's a couple of blocks away from the Belmar train station and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It worked out perfectly for us.

I would say yes for La Dolce Vita and possibly St. STEPHENS.
We are 5 blocks from the ocean - about a 10 minute walk. We are in the center of town near all the restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
