Food was great! Room was a bit run down, the fireplace was the heat for the room, and it sounded like it was going to explode after running for more than 30 minutes. The jacuzzi tub looked dirty, then we turned on the jets and mold started spewing out of it. Told the front desk to have it cleaned, said housekeeping cleaned it but nothing had changed, looked exactly the same with jets covered in mold. Clearly the tubs do not get maintained properly, this is dangerous and can get people sick. Asked for a refund of the cost of a jacuzzi room to a regular room, since we did not get to use the tub at all, but have heard nothing since. Staff was nice. Things just need updating, the bed was really old and sagging in the middle. The rooms dont really have any views of the mountains, only view was to leave the hotel and stand outside.

We've have stayed@the Stonehurst Manor for many years&this last visit will be the last! The"mountain view" rooms are nothing but a run down Motel 6! We had POOP, literally POOP on our sheets! The rm was dirty, there was hair in the tub&was not a clean ∨ inviting environment that we had known to be accustomed to in the past yrs! We have always stayed in the Manor but no rooms were available @that time! The new owners did give us our money back for the wkend which we had only spent that 1 night(which was enough)but would have liked a written apology sent to us given the seriousness of our complaint!! Directly after we complained to the owners we went back to the rm to gather out belongings &the bed had been stripped clean &remade before we're assuming, the owners saw the bed! Did the housekeepers get tipped off or what????? It's been months now&still no apology so when I saw the other negative reviews regarding the rms I thought I'd post one as well ! Its really too bad because we have "always raved" about this place to friends &family who now know not don't bother staying there!

I have stayed there several times it’s always been great. The main reason that we go there was for the delicious prime rib. However the inn has changed hands last summer and the new owner’s decided to reduce the size of the prime rib by about thirty per cent. So now it’s just a small meal still cooked great but not worth my travel. The room has old world charm but I would appreciate something that accommodates ups cables rather than the old outlets that my plugs fall out of. I still like the inn but it needs updating and reducing the dinner portions is a negative

Our room is in need of a make over from appearance, to new mattresses and it wasn't clean well at all. When we complained to management they did absolute nothing to correct it, didn't offer us another room, or even no charge. The pictures online must have been when they first opened.

Food was terrible, rooms dirty, rundown, mildew odor in the tent. In desperate need of renovations, new chefs, new housekeepers. We wouldn’t recommend dining or staying at the stonehurt manor. We also had family staying in the townhouses on the premises and they need to be renovated.

The Manor was disappointing. Have been going for over 18 years and this visit might be our last.It has definitely changed since it was sold. The original staff Heidi, Leona and Michael made the manor a place to visit. They remembered you, if not your name but made you feel welcomed and always went out of their way to make your visit a great one!! They were always so very accommodating. The new owner won’t even go out of his to acknowledge you. Not cool!! The vibe is totally different. Is the manor in perfect condition? Not really but the staff would always make up for it. Now it’s just a worn down place to stay. A positive note the dinners are great, but the breakfasts are no feast, that’s for sure. Good luck!!!

Old & dingy, Inn needs major upgrades. Rooms haven't been upgraded for many years. Housekeeping just ok. Lounge was great. Food was good but received cold 1 night. Service was good. New owners have a huge undertaking to bring back the Inn to quality standards for their guests.

The Stonehurst Manor was magical when we walked in, the Library Lounge was fantastic, and so was our bartender Owen! Our room was a different story, room 37 was not at all the advertised photo as far as decor and overall coziness of the room, it was the opposite, dull and drab, with the worst mattress and pillow I have ever slept on. Stay away from this room. The dinning experience was perfect, the food and staff were wonderful. It was a great weekend, and we will give it another shot at some point, we have looked at other rooms and now know which one will will request next time.
