The Elliot Hospital in Manchester paid for me to stay at this hotel so that I could attend a two day meeting with their staff. This hotel was above and beyond my expectations. The lobby is beautiful with wood floors, a cafe area, a coffee bar with newspapers and magazines to read and a very accomodating front desk staff. I needed documents faxed and the staff was able to do this for me without a problem. My room was very large, clean and quiet. The exercise room was well appointed and all of the machines worked. Staff even allowed for me to have a later checkout. My stay was the best I have ever had in the city!

Stayed at the Hilton garden inn this past Friday night. The staff that was on was very nice. I wasnt able to get the names of the two people working the desk Friday night but they were great. I was planning on eating off property for dinner that night but after taking a glimpse of the menu the left fielder burger sounded really good so I decided to seat myself. My impression of the dining area off to the side was a little off. I thought it was like an area taken away from the lobby to make a bar and small dining area. Anyhow at least they were able to make a space to make dining happen. My server was Maddy very super nice girl amazing smile and out spoken. She brought me a menu the same like I looked at on the easel they had one on that made me decide to eat in. I do have to say the menu was rather small in choices but still something for everyone. I still went with the left fielder burger and oh my it was the best burger I had ever had and I am a true burger guy. I really hope they keep that on the menu for people to enjoy that option. It is also one reason why I'd be back for sure if that burger is still available and that you have the friendly staff. I was already thinking when can I skip the mountains again to go to the city. My room was very nice. I had somewhere I had to be for 9 am and woke up 815 woke up two hours later than planned on getting up. I loved the Keurig I popped the k cup in and got ready to leave. Being a guy it's much easier to be ready in 15 mins. I grabbed my coffee from the Keurig before I walked out of the room and I took a sip it seemed like I was tasting soap. I took another sip and sure enough again that taste of soap so I dumped it down the sink. I had planned on breakfast before I left but because I woke up late I knew the chance of being able to take something to go would be slim because I figured the dining area would be slammed. When I got down to check out I observed two tables. Because of the time crunch I was in I decided to take a continental breakfast to go. The price was 10.50 included no meats or eggs or waffles etc. I did thought the choices available that 10.50 was a little steep. I know I could have filled my take out container but how many bagels can you actually eat or fruit before it gets sickening. Anyhow the fresh fruit and the bagel and oranges juice I had was good.. overall I'd return to this hotel again sometime and again please keep that left fielder burger on the menu.

We have stayed at this Hilton in the past. Not always our first choice because it is adjacent to a baseball field and can be pricey at times. There are equal hotels in the area for better prices.
We traveled this week to see our grandchildren for the first time since February, due to the corona virus pandemic.
We chose this hotel because it advertised extra clean, disinfected Rooms and had no restaurant area. We brought cleaning supplies to wipe down the room ourselves, but expected the room to be clean before we arrived. We are not germaphobes, but come from NYS where people are taking this seriously.
My husband went to get an extra blanket while I wiped down the room. As I was cleaning I noticed that the sink, toilet and tub obviously had been used and not cleaned. We move to another room, one look in the tub with someone else’s hair and we move again. The third room was just as bad. Someone had shaved in the sink, nothing wiped down. At this point, it’s 9:15 pm and I just said forget it, I will clean. An hour and a half after arrival and cleaning two of the three rooms, I had a glass of wine and tried to calm down.
The desk clerk apologized and eventually our room was comped.
So much for not touching doors and elevators and minimizing COVID exposure...
Was the hotel lending rooms to first responders? And then not cleaning? Did everyone go home mid -March and never clean or inspect a room before they left?
I know they are short staffed but rooms should be clean and inspected before giving them out.
In hindsight, I should have stayed at the B and B that I loved. It would have been less stressful and safer than this chain hotel that falsely advertised.

This hotel is great if you want to watch the Fisher Cats play while in the comfort of your room or if you’d like a quick walk to the stadium.

We were able to overlook the outdated decor, hairdryer that didn’t work, and having to get a king bed for my husband, son, and I to squeeze into because the two queens we requested weren’t available at check-in time.

What we couldn’t overlook was what transpired around 11 PM. We turned down the bedding to go to sleep. Fortunately all the lights were on because we quickly noticed a bug, some glittery sequins and many, many short black hairs ALL OVER THE SHEETS! It was as if someone’s eyebrows and eyelashes spontaneously fell off their face and into the bed, and the best course of action was to leave them there for the next unsuspecting occupant -us- to find. To say we were disgusted would be an understatement.

The front desk staff quickly gave us a new room, sans tiny hairs and bugs, and breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, that good service could not rectify how completely grossed out we were.

My family and I stayed here 3 nights for a family reunion. The hotel staff was very friendly and polite. Our rooms were adequate. The bathrooms could have been cleaner. Those are the only positive parts of our stay. We returned both Friday and Saturday night to find no parking available at the hotel parking lot. The baseball games draw local residents to the hotel to watch the games from the outdoor patio. Four families had to find alternate parking at the local Market Basket grocery store and find our way back in the dark in an unfamiliar city. When I complained to the front desk clerk the answer was "there is nothing we can do about it". The lobby and outdoor patio looked like a frat party. Garbage, beer cans, and pizza boxes overflowing the garbage cans. Drunk loud people in the parking lot and lobby. My family and I decided to go to the indoor bar/restaurant to enjoy some quiet time before returning to our rooms. The hotel advertises that the bar is open until 11pm. The bar/ restaurant was closed at 8pm. When I asked the front desk clerk why the bar was closed the answer was" all of the staff is working at the baseball game". Saturday morning, we found a typed note outside the elevator informing the guests that there would be no cleaning service due to a staff shortage. The following is why I have written this review. Over the following two months I have attempted to contact the hotel manager five times, I have spoken with Hilton costumer service six times, as well as Hilton Corporate Customer service. I have yet to hear from anyone. I will admit that I mistakenly booked thru a third-party booking company. Never again. It gives the hotel an added layer of protection when disputing the hotel charge. Pleas beware.

On the good side: The hotel is in a very nice location in downtown and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
On the bad side: there was a homeless camp right off their property. I understand the hotel cannot do anything about that, however they could do something for the guests safety. I was told there were no cameras in the parking lot and they are not responsible for your vehicle while parked there. I would not feel comfortable walking alone in the parking lot. While walking to your car the half naked homeless people and chemical odor coming from that area was definitely not pleasant. I used the gym 4 days and by day 2 the towels were gone. A cup was onto of the water dispenser everyday I went in. There was a dispenser for equipment wipes, but that was empty everyday. There was also spilled coffee by the elevator for the first 3 days. It makes me question how much is actually being cleaned.

I was charged a $70 service fee from hotel values then tax from the hotel.
The $70 service fee for ordering online instead of at the hotel was absurd. I was told I would need to cancel the stay two days in advance for a refund even though I ordered the hotel 10 minutes before I called to cancel.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now in the past year. On my first visit in the Fall of 2021 we discovered that the room fridge had a previous guest's food in it. On our most recent stay, April 2022, we discovered old corn chips under the bed. You would think for the prices they charge they could remove old food from the fridge and corn chips from under the bed, but I guess not. I'll stay elsewhere next time.

We had no ho water until late afternoon on Saturday. We were only told we would get $75 off a rate of $350/night. For Manchester, NH this rate is absurd. F&B closed way too early and the rooms need a complete renovation

You will find the basics, of shampoo, lotion, conditioner, soap. If you ask at the front desk they will likely also offer a basic razor and comb if needed, but I would bring my own.
