After a horrible experience at a Hilton property recently, we were desperate to find accommodations to visit our daughter for the first time in 21 months. We were blessed to find the Ash Street Inn. Margit and Rob were very warm and welcoming, and the Inn is beautiful. Most importantly in the current Covid environment, the Inn is immaculate. Breakfasts were freshly prepared with premium ingredients. Our four-day stay was delightful.

My boyfriend and I had a very enjoyable stay recently at this cozy bed & breakfast. This historic Victorian inn is beautifully furnished with classic elegant furniture and decor and I appreciated the lovely and thoughtful decorative touches throughout the place. The parking and late check-in process was very convenient. Our room was very clean and the bed was so comfy.  There were delicious homemade banana walnut muffins waiting for us when we checked in and we enjoyed the breakfast prepared by the lovely innkeepers. Would definitely like to stay here again!

We prefer to stay in B & B's whenever we travel and this one was top notch. The owners are super friendly and the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. I ate too much but couldn't resist! The bed was very comfortable and super large towels and nice bathrobes are provided in the room. Our room also had stained glass windows which was
a unique feature. I definitely recommend this inn if you are visiting Manchester.

My wife and I found the Ash Street Inn when we were trying to book tours of the nearby Zimmerman and Kalil Frank Lloyd Wright homes. The innkeepers seem to have developed a unique partnership with Manchester's Currier Museum of Art, the local manager and owner of these Frank Lloyd Wright (FLW) homes. Ash Street Inn offers a room booking option that includes FLW tour and museum admission tickets at a great discount. The tour starts at the Currier Museum of Art, just one block away, so everything is super convenient and enjoyable! The FLW homes are among his few (only?) homes on the East Coast open for tours, so I highly recommend the tours.

More about the Ash Street Inn! The husband/wife innkeepers (Margit and Rob) are real pros and they leave nothing to chance. The husband is a trained chef and tele-com exec, and Margit is a PhD biologist (as I recall), so you will have no trouble finding interesting things to talk about if you strike up a conversation with this lovely and personable couple. The included breakfast was delicious, and they have a welcoming snack bar set up for the occasional cup of coffee or fresh baked cookies. The home is charming and immaculately maintained. They seem to host a lot of weddings as well as a good number of regular guests as well. Some old negative reviews from 8-10 years ago seem to be from when the previous owner was still running the place. You will find nothing but stellar reviews from anyone who has visited since then. I would definitely return.

We booked the entire Ash Street Inn for our youngest daughter’s wedding weekend at the end of May. It was perfect for the entire family, including Bride and Grandmother of the Bride! This late 1800’s Victorian home has been restored with décor and furnishings suited to the time when the it was built. Owners and Innkeepers, Rob and Margit Wezwick are wonderful hosts, readily available to ensure that your stay is pleasant. The bedrooms are spacious while at the same time cozy. During our stay, family members were able to relax in the comfortable living room and dining room while the girls took over the second floor to get ready for the big event. Breakfasts, including eggs, omelets, and fritatas, bacon and sausage, french toast and pancakes, made to everyone’s order, were delicious! (We tried them all!) Sweet treats, including homemade cookies and freshly prepared fruit kabobs and mini-cheesecakes (prepared for the wedding day), were special treats! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this lovely Inn and highly recommend it!

We have stayed many places in Manchester area in the last ten years when visiting our daughter and grandchildren. The Ash Street was often my birthday request for a weekend stay. Our visits were even nicer with new owners Robert and Margit. The breakfasts and baked goods are sumptuous, their hospitality warm and friendly.
I’ve attached a few sketches of room 207. Every room has stain glass and unusual architectural details, some have fireplaces. We often sit in the parlor in evenings and read and converse. It’s the best B and B I have ever stayed at. They have managed to make it feel like home, while giving you space and privacy.
We enjoyed a weekend in February just before COVID-19 shut down everything.
In June when the shutdown lifted we tried a chain hotel downtown. Horrible experience, changed our room three times and our time there never felt clean or safe. Our next two visits to Manchester in August and October were spent at the Ash street. I share this because it is the best way to go. It felt safe, clean and relieved all the anxiety of traveling to NH during a pandemic. At the end of a full day of visiting, it was nice to sit in the parlor with a book and a drink for some quiet time. As other reviews mentioned there are snacks, beverages, games, books, newspapers, whatever you need. On our last visit we were upgraded to a first floor room with a gas fireplace. It was heaven. Thanks so much for your wonderful get away in a difficult year.

The place does not have anything amiss. Even if you try to find it. Location close to the Currier museum and downtown, friendly, respectful, and informative owners, cleanness, great tasty breakfast, cookies, coffee, even bathrobes offered for a night. Very nice. Free tickets to the Currier museum was an unexpected benefit, as well as helpful information about local attractions

We stayed in The Ash Street In for a couple of nights and found Rob and Margit fantastic hosts and always offering their local knowledge if needed but not imposing.
The Inn has plenty of off street parking, a lovely snug/sitting room to sit in and catch up (this was beautifully decorated for Christmas).
The Inn is spotless and Rob and Margit had some lovely touches around the place with some nibbles, a good selection of teas and coffees and also thought of some touches in the bathroom.
Robs breakfasts were very tasty.
If you want a great place to stay in Manchester this is the place to stay.

Thanks Rob and Margit for letting us stay.

Rob and Margit have it together big time and have thought of pretty much everything one could offer in a B&B including a terrific breakfast, charming rooms, lots of little amenities, and treats scattered about the house. They gave great recommendations for local eateries and made wonderful arrangements for visits to the Currier Museum and other local venues. The location is within walking distance to the downtown business/restaurant district in a walkable residential neighborhood.

Recently, my wife and I stayed at the Ash Street Inn for four nights. Rob and Margit, the owners, were very welcoming and provided a very clean and comfortable environment for us. The breakfasts were delicious, cooked to order, and served fresh. Our room was impeccably clean and the interior of the B&B was beautifully designed. In addition to being excellent and caring hosts, Rob and Margit provided great recommendations on where to visit and dine in the area. We loved our stay and would recommend the Ash Street Inn to anyone.
