Detailed Reviews
This is a nice hotel. Clean and well cared for. I had several issues but all were minor. For the record, no breakfast (no surprise there) but also no coffee in the lobby. Lack of brewed coffee was disappointing.
Only two cups in the whole room - paper coffee cups - no cups/glasses in the bathroom. Since they were light paper, I was concerned at using them for cold drinks/hot drinks and teeth brushing. All of the coffee in the room was decaf and no condiments. I went to the front desk and both were easily remedied but just an annoyance.
Given that we were one of perhaps six rooms occupied (judging by the cars in the parking lot), I was annoyed to open our curtains in the morning to a lovely view of the dumpster. Really? No better views? Had I seen it when we arrived, I would have asked to be moved. Again, just annoying.
None of this is a good reason not to stay. Just a heads up so that you can check upon arrival.

We stayed here before our departure from the Manchester airport. You need to make a reservation for the shuttle when checking in, and they were very efficient. This is the closest hotel to the airport, just a few minutes away. It's an average room, needs some updating, no real problems. We had some outside-the-room noise during the night, and some of that is probably due to it being an airport hotel with a lot of travelers. Before booking this, I had been trying to compare it with the TownePlace Suites and couldn't tell much difference online. We stayed at the TownePlace on our arrival and we found it to be more comfortable and much quieter.

My husband and I spent five nights at the hotel. The staff was friendly. The exercise room had decent treadmills and a contactless water cooler. The room was comfortable, especially the bed and pillows.
Here are the puzzling parts:
Not once did anyone change the towels and we had read that the rooms were taken care of every other day. I noticed only once did the bed look made up. Never were the two drinking glasses changed. I had used the coffee in the room (4 pods) before going down to breakfast, and once, when the trash and recycling were emptied, not one pod was replenished. The bathroom baseboard was extremely dusty. It was like a few things were done in small pieces, but not everything was done? Very strange.
Loved the exercise room, but so did some large ants. At one point I noticed someone must have vacuumed, but not in corners. Very obvious.
Mostly, I take the stairs, and not once during our stay did maintenance pick up the same tissue and pieces of paper on those steps.
This says to me they are greatly short-staffed or management is not checking periodically?
I was puzzled; however, I did like the hotel overall, and would have awarded another star had it not been for those things.

My friend and I went to an event held at Manchester Regional Airport that is accessible by hotel shuttle bus. We thought this hotel would be the most convenient
choice since it is only .7 miles from the event. But the event suddenly changed its location from Perimeter Street to Kelly Ave, after we arrived at the hotel. So I phoned the front desk to enquire whether the hotel shuttle bus would take us to the other side of the airport. The person on the phone, named Susan, quickly said no and she said, are you talking about the Trump rally? I said, " How do you know?" She replied, "Your folio says so." Since the hotel profiled us as Trump supporters, I asked her if she could tell me how many of us are staying in the hotel. She said, "I can't tell you." My friend and I were very worried and felt the place may not be safe for us to stay but it was too late to cancel the booking and we were too exhausted from traveling five hours from New York to change the hotel. By the way, the same staff didn't want to tell us which restaurants are good around the area. Interacting with her was the greatest nightmare you can find in any hotel around the world. The next day, a young beautiful lady named Alicia at the counter, who told us Airport Diner was a great place to eat. She is 100% right! On the third day, I thanked her and told her that the rally was so worth the trouble to come and asked if she knew how many of the hotel guests were coming for it. She said most of us were staying there for the same event. Wow! What a difference in demeanor!
Also, the picture of the free breakfast provided by the hotel is misleading. If we knew the hotel would not provide a decent breakfast, we would have planned the night before where to get our breakfast so we could be ready for the event which we were going to. Your front desk also told me that your hotel cleans the room every 7 days, which means removing the garbage in the garbage pails is not possible unless we make a request (we were so disappointed and we didn't bother to make a request) and she said it was because of Covid-19. On the contrary, we expected that the cleaning should have been more frequent and vigorous because of the pandemic. And the breakfast included in the hotel stay was horrible (my friend refused to eat it). It was a horrible hotel staying experience. My friend complained so much to the extent that I had terrible headaches for two days. I refused to take her share of the cost of the hotel stay. I told her that I was 100% liable for choosing that hotel. I read almost all the reviews of this hotel. It is strange that I didn't see any red flags before I booked the hotel, but my friend said that she did see negative reviews of the hotel before. So, it is my fault that I didn't. And I don't understand why the reviews I read before were all positive. Maybe they stayed there only one night and were served by staff like Alicia.

I arrived Thursday evening. When I got to the door of the room, a nacho chip was sticking out of the door. I thought it odd and a harbinger.
The room carpet had not been vacuumed along the walls. Food crumbs and other particles were on the floor by the sofa. Other particles were along the wall.
I was tired. I prepared myself for bed. As I got in bed, there were crumbs of some sort in the sheets. There were two toenails on the floor at the bed’s side.
I swiped the food particles and went to bed. I liked the room was dark when I tuned off the lights, and I slept soundly.
Friday morning, I went down to tell the desk agent I’d be gone for 8 hours and wanted a proper servicing of the room. She was horrified at the pictures.
Nine hours later, I came back. I asked about the servicing. She said she hoped it had but did not know. Of course, I got to the room, and it was not fully serviced. Toenails, crumbs, and nacho chips were all in the same place.
I called the front desk agent. She said she’d find someone with a vacuum to come up. Fifteen minutes later, the cleaning person came. She vacuumed.
The desk agent called later in the evening. She said she’d compensate me $75 for the difficulty, which was about half the room rate charged.

Stayed for a weekend getaway over Nov 4-6/2022. When we arrived was told by the desk clerk (who was there all weekend unfortunately) that there would be no weekend cleaning or maid service. Her attitude was not that pleasant, and almost rude. Asked if she had my gold Marriott number, and she said that because I booked through a third party (only because it was cheaper), she could not help me. The next morning garbage was lining the hall outside the rooms as well as the front door as the bins were full. Upon leaving asked for a copy of my bill, and the clerk refused. I insisted, and finally got one. I know people have bad days, but Springhill is doing themselves no favours by having her represent them. In Marriott's mission statement it reads "to enhance the lives of our customers, by creating and enabling unsurpassed vacation and leisure experiences". This hotel falls well short of this and should be addressed immediately.

I had numerous occasions to stay at Springhill Suites in April and May while searching for an apartment. The front desk staff, Jen and Jane in particular, were always very welcoming and helpful. The rooms, common areas, and pool were consistently clean. I was pleasantly surprised that there was minimal noise noticeable from the adjacent airport. The hotel provides a shuttle service which is a nice perk considering restaurants aren’t within walking distance. I had no issues with pool reservations. Breakfast was a little better than average (by Covid standards). Most days hot sandwiches were available in addition to the usual grab n go. The coffee urn was available all day, something that I found not to be the norm in a few other subsequent Marriott locations. The only issue I noticed was a lack of parking on what was an extremely busy Saturday night. This only happened once during my visits. As for customer service, I recently had some questions from my credit card bill. Jen reviewed all my charges over the phone and answered my questions. I’d highly recommend this hotel while staying in the Manchester area.

We booked this hotel based solely on front desk reception staff. All the other hotels we called that were close to the Airport were rude and seemed annoyed when we called directly for rates. I assume we’re not the only people in this country that shop around for a good price? Besides the excellent front desk service the room was roomy and clean. My only complaint was the A/C system seemed outdated and ran a bit louder that what seemed normal. But overall we had a pleasant stay.

This hotel is 1.4 miles from the airport. I had to wait 25 minutes for the shuttle after calling. They said 15 minute wait. The hotel was clean. The receptionist was kind and competent. Breakfast was hot bagel with egg, sausage and cheese(pork or turkey), cold cereal, pastries, yogurt. No room refresh due to covid but you could ask for clean towels.

I must convey my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Despite my repeated requests for room cleaning, it went unaddressed for four days. Even the simple process of changing towels took an extended three days. Given the exorbitant price of $399 per night, I had anticipated a higher standard of service. The perceived reliance on COVID as an excuse for not cleaning my room raises concerns about cost-cutting efforts for increased profits. Regrettably, I've decided to never stay at your establishment again. Poor value for money. Period.
