Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This park is not on any of the various camping books for Hew Hampshire but should be. It has about 15 sites with full hookups and 50amps. Sites are sand/dirt but level, Check in was a bit slow but the park staff is very helpful and friendly. Much of the place is seasonal. The campground is located off of I89 about 2 miles and is easy access from the Interstate.

We enjoyed our site very much. Site 9 right on the water. We enjoyed kayaking around the pond as well. Everyone in the office was nice and welcoming. Sites are pretty close together. They offered a bunch of activities for the holiday weekend. Including a breakfast and a lunch.

Nice family-owned campground conveniently located in a nice country setting in central NH. People are very friendly and helpful. Best suited for small or medium sized RVs, but can accommodate a limited number of larger campers. Mostly back-sites. Located on small fresh-water pond for fishing and swimming.

I recently brought my young son and parents here for 4 days and we all had a great time. We rented one of the campground’s available campers and it was clean, well-stocked and in a great location. Very friendly seasonal campers and the entire family who owns and runs the place is amazing: Friendly, helpful and always available to you but not in your face. Great little playground for kids and the Rec center is the best I’ve seen (thank goodness, since it rained a lot during our stay!). Beach and swimming was good - sandy and clean (though understandably small since it’s on a small pond) and the entire campground was very clean and quite quiet. Some activities for both kids and adults on the weekend which was a nice option. And a Dunkin’s right on the corner for a quick run each morning. There was nothing else we could have wanted! We’re already looking forward to our return trip next year :-)

The staff and everybody there was very nice and friendly. But the campground is right on the turnpike of 202 it sounded like Connecticut to me on the turnpike. Traffic all night the locals that stay there year-round argue and have great lights on. If you're just looking for a place to stay overnight on your Journeys it's okay. But if you're looking for a quiet getaway definitely don't come here. $35 a night was a lot for what I was looking for to begin with I'm glad I wasn't looking for peace and quiet

***New Owners***

We found this campground at the last minute for this past Memorial Day weekend. With only 2 sites left to choose from, we picked #59. Though it didn't have sewer (only water and electric), we had no issue with not having sewer and we were able to use the dump station on our way out. I know there a several poor Yelp reviews on Keyser Pond, but they are under new ownership.

This is a smaller campground, but it was very clean and well maintained. Though we didn't use the bathrooms/showers, I did check them out, and they were very well kept and clean. They had plenty of activities throughout the weekend (shuffleboard, horseshoes, cribbage tournaments; a dance, movie on the beach, ice cream social, etc.). There is a nice pond where you canoe and paddle board (even swim though I wasn't brave enough for that this early in the season).

They are pet friendly, have playground equipment for the kids. The owners were present and helpful (even helping a newbie get his hot water heater working).

We would certainly go back!

Be very careful at this campground! My name is Alan I am a paraplegic with limited use of my arms. I was brutally assaulted in September by a seasonal camper I was taken away by ambulance. The person that assaulted me is best friends with the owners of the campground nothing was done the owners completely ignored it pretended it never happened. If you are in a wheelchair or you have kids be do not let them out of your sight

went camping at keyser pond I have a lot of great memories of this this place went back to reminisce years ago went I went there as a kid a re nice couple owned this place jolly and Carla the new owners are lazy and cheap they don’t even clean the rental trails the trailer smelt like mold blood stains on the wall and rug asked them to clean it and was told it doesn’t come off
to deal with it the pond is so disgusting you can’t swim in it but they don’t tell you that I drove over an hour to be treated like badly and paid 250 for the weekend and the trailer was so nasty me and my family couldn’t even sleep in it made my skin crawl it mad me angry and sad to see such a wonderful place be turned it to a Disgusting dump

The campground is very clean. The new owners were very receptive to helping us set up and showed us the ropes. This included helping to level the camper and to hook up the sewer. I saw them emptying the trash several times a day and the bathrooms were clean. There are activities geared towards the kids and a few adult ones. I liked the quiet campground but be aware there are not many activities. We explored the Everett Dam project and found some great fishing areas. Hopkington is not too far for shopping. The seasonal campers all have known each other for a decade but once they accept you they are very nice. The owners did share they have plans to add additional activities etc. Will definitely go back in 2020.

How clean is this swimming areas of the pond?
Answer from Colleen W
Atkinson, New Hampshire13 contributions3 helpful votes
The water is very clear and there is a sandy beach (no wading through pond muck to swim). It gets pretty deep as you go out to the floating dock so it seems like you could swim a lot of the pond but the beach itself has a roped off area in the shallow end for kids’ safety.
