Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

I remember how the Palace Station used to be before the upgrade and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised at how amazing the renovations have made this into a completely different, new, and appealing location. The room was up to standards of any nicer hotel on the Strip that I've stayed at. You can tell that everything is new in there and that they took the time to ensure that you can feel relaxed in the room without all the extra gimmicks other hotels have. This is definitely one place I'll be staying the night if I'm looking for a practical yet refined location to stay the night.

The breakfast buffet runs from 8AM to 11AM and has a wide selection of items that all tasted good. Can get a made-to-order omelet. Fruit & salad bar too. Unlimited beverages served at your table. With a gambler’s card that is free at the casino Rewards Center, the cost is only $9.99 for as much as you want to eat!

In recent years most of the strip hotels are charging a $25 daily fee for anyone staying at the hotel. Palace Station does not charge anything. Do get me wrong, they still charge a "resort fee" that all hotels charge but there isn't this extra parking charge on top of that.

This hotel is close to everything and has had larger renovation recently.

First of all, do not stay here unless you like the smell of second hand cigarette smoke and it is everywhere including our non-smoking room on the 11th floor! We selected this hotel because is was right off I-15 and the reservation agent was wonderful. When we got inside the doors the casino was near the front desk and the whole place smelled of cigarette smoke. We got checked in and had to use a bellman, no prob. Yet, when we got to the room we called because our bags had not yet arrived and we were given the third degree because we never got a claim check so just getting our bags delivered was an issue. Okay, the bags came, the room seemed fine, yet no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee maker and as we looked around the room was filthy. The vacuum didn't reach all the way to the edge but they didn't use an edge cleaner to get the 2" of dust between the baseboard and where the vacuum could reach. They had not swept under the furniture so it was super dusty and then we found a splatter of blood on the wallpaper in the main bedroom and more in the bathroom. Eewww! We awoke to a strong smell of cigarette smoke and decided it must be coming up through the vent (to the 11th floor). The place wreaks of 1980's style, the mold in the bathroom turned me of from taking a shower and we were charged a lot for the pool which wasn't even open! Seriously, we chose it because it had a pool and it was closed when we checked in and didn't open until 10am but check-out was at 11am. I don't know about you, but I like to shower after I swim so this sucked. The dirty rooms, the cigarette smoke and the lack of amenities was bad but even the mattresses were long past their expiration date. This hotel is poorly managed and not worthy of anything more than 2 "stars" or in other words... stay elsewhere, this place is nasty!
We stayed 8/4/21. consider yourself warned.

We chose the Palace Station on a Friday night-Thanksgiving weekend and all the other locations were super high priced. Paid $200 for the room which I was really impressed with. 2 queens 8th floor. Clean but the stupid mattress was wonky and slanted like where people sit to get up. Very uncomfortable to say the least but I was tired and slept it off. All in all I was impressed and will stay there again since they shuttle you to the strip plus I also felt I did not have to run around all over a casino to get to the garage or front desk. Stayed at the Luxor last time and it was dirty and dated. No more.

Me and my fiancé stayed there, as it’d be her 10+ vacation to Vegas and this specific hotel. We left her cell phone in the room and didn’t realize until we were in our home state. We left about 9 pm that night so we knew housekeeping had not came yet.

We geolocated it thru the find my iPhone app and it traced it to the hotel. We then knew we didn’t grab it off the pillow on the bed. Called the hotel- they went and searched and after 30 minutes holding, the signal the “find my iPhone” app shut off and I was told minutes later they couldn’t find it in the room.

10+ times for my fiancé and my first trip, and this was the outcome. We both agree- never again!

We stayed at the Palace Station in Las Vegas on October 24 thru Oct 26, and we were given a horrible room. We go to Vegas at least twice a year and normally we stay at the Palace and gamble a large amount and therefore we get rooms comped. This time the room we were given was tiny, old furniture, dusty, and dirty carpet (stains and not vacuumed). I did call the front desk and asked to speak to a Supervisor who stated that she could get us another room, but my Husband was exhausted after a nine hour drive. We usually get a fairly nice room, but not this time and we will not be returning on our next Vegas vacation.

The stay was less than pleasant. They charge $40 per day in "resort fees" and rooms do not have a fridge in them so you have to pay $10 a day plus fees for one. They nickle and dime you anyway they can. The amount of fees paid is more that the nightly room rate. The cafe food was average and expensive too. Would not recommend actually staying here.

AVOID!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. I never write reviews but felt this was definitely needed. We had two different rooms. In the first room, there were urine stains on the bedsheets, The plastic sheet underneath the sheet was actually a gold color almost the whole way through-worse if you can believe that. After arguing with the front desk, Housekeeping come up and give us clean sheets but they refused to help us change them we had to do it ourselves. We asked for two non-smoking rooms, and the second room had a smell of smoke so bad where I could not breath well the next day due to the smoke. We complained about it and they told us it was nothing they could do that night. I had to go to urgent care to get medication because my lungs were closing due to that smoke smell. The next day instead of changing me to a different room they decided to air it out with some sort of big fan.. This helped a little and when we checked out they were uncaring and rude.

The room had only one set of fresh towels. didn't get a second set til the next day. Then received double sets. Front desk mistated that they only clean the rooms after you leave and checkout, However when i called to get the room cleaned, someone was sent. The checkin area reaked of cigarette smoke.

I had always rented a car or take some sort of taxi service. I had never taken the shuttle back and from the airport. I believe it was $23.00 for the taxi service.
