Nestled in a prime location, Palms Place Hotel and Spa offers an inviting atmosphere that is especially noted for its stunning pool layout and the cozy vibe of its communal spaces. While service receives varied feedback, with commendations for staff attentiveness but also critiques of occasional rudeness, the cleanliness of the hotel generally earns praise, including the spotless rooms and pristine pool area. The amenities, including the luxurious pool and well-appointed rooms, are popular among guests, although some mention a lack of balconies and minor maintenance issues. Room views are lauded, but opinions on value are split, with some guests questioning the resort fees and dated aspects of the property.

I could not say enough great things about our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by Marites and immediately felt welcomed. She recommended many attractions, restaurants and must do places. She definitely set the tone for a fabulous stay! We arrived earlier than our check in time but were able to be accommodated and got right into our room. We stayed on the 52nd floor annd our room was clean and beautiful. Our view was amazing. The buffet was delicious with a great variety of food. Every staff member we encountered from front desk to maintenance emptying trash on the way to the casino was friendly and always said hello. Being close enough to everything and yet far enough from the loud night life of the strip was great! If we ever come back to Vegas this is where we will stay again! Thank you for a great visit.

Hi - just wanted to clarify for anyone who may run into some confusion. Palms Place is a condo-type property built around 2008 and has not been updated. The reception desk and housekeeping were responsive and you can enter without going through a casino. The parking is free, which is awesome, but there is not a secrurity gate so anyone can walk in and out of the parking structure. The room was clean. The windows were low quality so that cold air was blowing in and you could easily hear the street sounds. The sofa did pull out and there was room for another person to sleep on a lounger part of the sofa.

I do want to clarify that I made reservations through the Palms website, and selected a studio unit. I was hoping that we would be in the renovated Fantasy tower, but we learned that because we selected a studio we were at the Palms Place.

I hope that is helpful for everyone.

we stayed 4 nights at the Palms Suites rented by StripViewSuites. let me be clear that the rooms including amenities were really super. what a nice view of Las Vegas and also a corner balcony. what bothered us was the fact that we had to wait an hour and a half longer for the room to be completely cleaned. when we were allowed in our room, however, we saw quite a bit of dirt and dust. especially under and around the bed and in places such as the skirting boards. unfortunately there is also overdue maintenance, so the experience was a bit less. Because there was a washing and drying machine (which was not included in the description) we used it, but unfortunately all error codes. the dishwasher did not work well and we could wash everything by hand. also the shower door was a bit off the hinges so didn't close properly.
also the bath plug does not work properly so we had to come up with something to drain the bath. the room, on the other hand, was super spacious and again the view was fantastic

because we had to wait so long to check in, we neatly received a $75 voucher for food and drinks in 1 of their restaurants. however, we didn't realize that we couldn't book for dinner at A.Y.C.E buffet and we had a 3 hour queue to be seated yesterday!!! Unfortunately we did not take advantage of dinner and went for breakfast the next morning. unfortunately not hungry at all, but still able to eat something. she did apologize about this but what good is a $75 coupon if you have to wait 3 hours! so the late checkin left a bitter aftertaste.
We would like to thank Chanél who helped us very well with our questions and assistance! Chanél really makes you feel appreciated as a guest.

The Palms hotel was just ok..IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. The service from the moment I walked in was trash. I was half a** greeted by an employee that was sitting on a chair doing absolutely nothing but running her mouth and laughing with other employees. She told me to check in at the kiosk instead of greeting me properly and taking my information although no-one was in line behind me. The (one) pool was over crowded each time I tried to go out and relax. The initial room they put us in had old ripped furniture and the sheets were dingy. The room also flooded no sooner than we put our bags down. Water leaked from the ceiling all over the floor. We were moved to another room that was exactly the same..Then the hotel charged me an additional $200 for incidentals (aside from the resort fee) that was not at all in the fine print of my agreement. Lastly, the hotel over charged me for the resort fee and it took a week to get someone on the phone from the hotel to correct the error. The representative Josh was not at all apologetic on behalf of the company and simply gave the number for the corporate office to file a complaint about my dissatisfaction.

I had to clean things on my own in order to even feel comfortable. The shower was filthy. The TVs are outdated, you can't stream anything and you can't connect a Chromecast because the outlet is blocked. The radio does not have a way to play your music from you phone, it only has iPod connectivity....I haven't seen this in years. Balconies are closed, I know the reason but due to legal reasons, I won't say; however, it is not disclosed prior to booking. I wanted this hotel due to the balcony. The casino is closed!!! Do not go here thinking you will gamble there. The pool was closed for 2 days. Valet no longer exists. At this point, I have no clue what I paid for and the resort fees were still on there. I think I paid for the gym that I had no intention to utilize and I didn't. Prior to booking, you should be warned about the changes that have taken place and amenities that will not be available during your stay. I paid full price and was not able to enjoy anything.

I’m very disappointed with this location. The location is advertised as a suite and it is more of an extended stay hotel. The rooms are run down. The bathrooms are dirty and they do not clean the rooms each day. There’s a button to request for housekeeping, but apparently does not work. When we return back to the room the room was the same way as we left it, and housekeeping had not clean the room, I called front desk and I was advised they do not clean the room during the stay unless requested which I did. I advise the represented that request was made by pushing the button by the entrance door and he advised me that the button does not work and I had to call the front desk to have them clean the room. With Covid going around I would think they would clean the rooms each day but unfortunately they do not care for safety and health of customers.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Palms for 3 nights. We arrived a little after 3pm and when we tried to check-in we were notified that the room wasn’t ready. So after twenty minutes we were called to the counter and checked in. It was a bit disappointing to be charged for the full daily resort fee on top of the reservation considering the casino, bars and spas were still closed due to covid.

At first glance the room was very nice and matched the photos we saw online. What sold us on this hotel was the jets in the bathtub, but once we settled in the wear on the room became apparent. There was holes in the curtains, tears on the chairs, scratches on the table, tape hanging from the ceiling that was from a previous party, no cups in the drawer and worst of all when we tried out the jets in the tub within seconds the water to smell like a sewer and we immediately got out.

During our stay the room wasn’t turned down so we ran out of towels. The first day we had do not disturb until noon but after that we had the housekeeping button on. No sign of them.

Overall, the stay was okay but could of been better. We were excited to stay at this hotel but became disappointed very quickly.

I stayed in a suite for three nights on a business trip. I had extremely rude service while staying here. I went to hang out by the pool to wait for my flight for just a few hours, & the tone of the man running the pool was very disrespectful. After spending my money for an entire week for a suite at that, I figured it would be okay to sit by the pool to have a drink for a few hours until my flight. I was told I could pay $45 to store my luggage for two hours or I couldn’t be near the pool. Very disappointed in the customer service or willingness to help as I would’ve paid to store my luggage or have it with me. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. Highly recommend you find new staff for people working by the pool. I personally won’t be staying here ever again.

After traveling across America, we were excited to reach Las Vegas, our final stop. We chose Palms Place based on online images of the suite room featuring a balcony, a large Jacuzzi and in-room washing facilities. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, we found the room lacked cleanliness, with dusty furniture and empty toiletries such as the body wash bottles that were never replenished. The Jacuzzi also malfunctioned, making loud noises throughout the night. A major letdown was the locked balcony doors, which were not disclosed as inaccessible during booking, despite being a key reason for our choice. Additionally, the washing facilities were locked, which was inconvenient given our heavy luggage. We informed the receptionist of these issues upon checkout and suggest these details be clearly communicated online to avoid future disappointments.

Very disappointed.

I repeat, Palms Place is NOT a hotel & spa. It needs to be advertised for what it is, a dingy filthy outdated privately owed overpriced airbnb/condo connected by a 2nd floor tunnel & escalator to Palms. The pics are misleading, they must’ve been taken decades ago and they should leave the Palms pics out of it altogether. No paper towels or utensils-only a blender and tea kettle, Both the bathroom sink and shower clogged, rug & towels look like car wash rejects, couch looks like it came from good will, balcony deadbolt locked with a sign prohibiting furniture on the it. Confusing separate elevators for higher floors. The tub jets were noticeably bright sunburst yellow in stark contrast to the tub, venturing into it wasn’t even a thought. The soles of brand new slippers only worn in this room are now black. It needs a full renovation from the studs up or to be totally leveled for additional parking. It should be reported as a health hazard. Save your $$$ and stay on the strip or elsewhere at a lower cost with better accommodations and surroundings.
The one and only positive is the staff were nice.

How long is the walk to the strip and is it safe to walk back at night?
Answer from RhondaTessa
Coconut Creek, Florida30 contributions23 helpful votes
The walk is 30 minutes one way to the strip. I wouldn’t do it. If you don’t want take a car, do Uber or Lyft. Also an option while on the strip, use the monorail to get around the strip if you get tired of walking. What we did was found all the free parking on the strip and just walked around and used the monorail. Free parking at The Venetian, Tropicana and Miracle Mike Shops.

I booked through Airbnb with private owners, and the balconies were accessible. This seems to be the case with all individually owned units. Be sure to ask before booking. If you rent directly through Palms Place, the balconies will be inaccessible.

The balcony access is reserved for those who own the units. There are plenty of privately owned units on AirBnB and even some property management sites that rent lease them out short term like a week or weekend.
