After researching the most exciting Las Vegas hotels, I booked the Palazzo at the Venetian. I was thrilled with the selection...until I started reading its TripAdvisor reviews. I then held my breath thinking check in would be onerous & the room would be run down, dirty & poorly cared for, but nothing could be further from our experience. The room was beautiful!! Very large, as stated in their online description, clean, stylish comfortable furniture, motorized draperies & with a dazzling view of the pool and surrounding area. Equally elegant and spacious was the bathroom. The entire Venetian resort was lovely, well cared for & all staff we encountered were friendly & cordial. We were in room 15-716, Jan. 22-26, 2022 & applaud the cleaning staff caring for our room. If there is an honest room complaint posted on TripAdvisor or another site, the room number & dates should be included so the responsible cleaning staff can be retrained or released from employment. I’ve been a TripAdvisor member since 2005 and find it suspicious when posters, new to the platform with 1 or 2 contributions, rant on about one service of the hotel. I am inclined to believe they perhaps are employed by a competitor or would benefit from prescription sedatives. You will receive an email the day of arrival to check in, do it! That will cut your time in line. Other options for getting into your room will be offered. The long line is for those who don’t check in prior to arrival. The short line on the right in the Palazzo is for those who checked in online but need a room assignment and digital card. Security requires you use your card to enter the guest area to proceed to the elevators. We appreciated that security measure. The only things that were bothersome is no coffee in the room, requiring a long elevator ride and hike to their Starbucks to wait in a lengthy line, l-o-n-g walk everywhere to get to the rooms, especially when dragging luggage, and very aggressive, harassing saleswomen yelling out to guests as they passed their store, Le Savon, to get them to come in for skin products. We loved the Venetian Palazzo!! It fit the bill for our winter reprieve.…
The Palazzo was by far the worst hotel we have stayed at in Las Vegas. Upon arrival there was not a bellman for luggage, after we walked through the hotel is was difficult to find the check in desk. Once we got to our suite, it was not what we booked. Our view was a wall, not what was represented on the Palazzo website. The bathroom & bedroom had a previous guests toenail clippings on the floor. The bed sheets were badly worn & felt like sandpaper, wallpaper peeling off the wall & the room had a foul odor, that never cleared. The Palazzo room we were assigned was an absolute dump!
You will be very pleased with everything about the Palazzo suites and amenities.Employees are friendly and helpful. Try the Grand Luxe restaurant, it is very good. Safety regarding entering area for guest room elevators, with room keys test.
A very beautiful and clean resort. Check in and check out was easy. Stayed in a king luxury suite, the room was huge and beautiful! Even though it was out of season, the pool was open and heated. The parking was free. It was a great experience!
FIrst of all, the room was beautiful. Palazzo/Venetian Pools are the best in Las Vegas. The property in general, is superior. COVID is tricky. We found inconsistent services. Some shops were not open, some restaurants are closed (it was timing), and when open, very crowded. The staff seemed slightly weary. Would definitely book another trip.
