Wynn Las Vegas captivates with its spacious, luxurious rooms and is well-regarded for its prime location near the Strip, offering a serene escape from the city's flurry. However, the hotel's atmosphere is marred by persistent club noise, troubling many guests. While the cleanliness generally receives high praise, some visitors have encountered issues. The amenities, although luxurious, come with high costs and accessibility challenges, leading to mixed feelings. Service quality varies, with some guests encountering inefficiencies. In light of these experiences, several travelers question the hotel's value, citing steep prices for services and amenities.

We stayed here a few times within the last year and service has been great both trips. The food is excellent, this time we even gave the steakhouse a try and enjoyed the shows at night while sitting outside. The rooms are clean and we even chose to upgrade to a tower suite at the last stay which was totally worth it, you had your own pool just for tower rooms with easy access to and from the rooms along with a coffee bar in the morning that was accessible to all tower guests. The location is a little further then we normally like but it was close to the bus for easy hop on/hop off if we wanted to go downtown or to the other end of the strip. The only complaint is the lack of quick food when just needing a late night bite. However, the biggest selling point? Both trips, we have left something (once our whole suitcase with all our money, purse, etc inside of it, and this trip, our phone) on the casino floor and they both were turned into security safely with nothing missing, once by security and once by a guest. I can't say the same would happen to some casinos on the strip. Definitely in our top 3 places to stay.

Received an offer for 3 comp nights and $250 free play at either of the hotels. Stayed at Encore several years ago, so opted for Wynn this time, and loved it! Was given a king room on the 58th floor facing the golf course and mountains/sunrise. Stunning view through floor to ceiling windows, with curtains operated by "Alexa" (as well as many other room amenities). Bed excellent, small table with 2 comfy chairs, adequate desk & chair with notebooks providing resort info. Wall mount TV flexible to view anywhere in room. Sofa and ottoman/table by desk. Full closet with safe and adequate number of hangers. Bathroom with two sinks, make-up area with stool, wall TV, separate commode room, huge tub, walk-in shower with bench, scale, basket of items ie: polish, buff cloth, qtips, shower cap. Individual soaps, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and some of the best lotion I've come across for my always dry fragile skin. Casino nicely laid out, but a few more ATM kiosks would be nice. All of the personnel I had contact with were helpful and friendly. Only found two downsides : the walk from Wynn to Encore via the esplanade is very long without any place to sit. Saw several seniors with walkers or canes struggling, and my bad back could've used a bench as well! The other was the "special holiday" pricing of the buffet...$60 + tip for lunch and $80+ for dinner. The menu posted for both meals did not appear to have any additional foods from the NON-holiday menu to justify the price, especially since I wasn't extremely hungry. Grabbed a salmon bagel, salad & fruit tart at the Cafe instead. All considered, I loved my stay and hope to repeat it during my next trip to Vegas!!

I've been to the Wynn on three prior occasions. I have always loved the set up and customer service. On this occasion I used my AE Platinum points to get a Tower King Room. With Tower rooms you get a separate smaller entrance with your own registration. As soon as you walk in they have a thermal camera checking your temperature. Subtle but productive. I was upgraded to a Salon Suite room. Stunning room with the bathroom the size of most master bedrooms. Beautiful room.

The Spa was great again of course with some COVID restrictions. The locker room and other amenities like the steam and sauna were closed off. You basically showed up 5 minutes for the service and were let into the room where you disrobed for the service. The massages were great but I did miss all the other amenities.

The casino floor was spaced out for social distancing. I played black jack at these tables. The tables were separated by plastic shields separating each player. It was limited to only four players to give the proper spacing. I actually loved this since I hate people crowding the tables. I hope they keep this feature after COVID. Whenever a person left the table the poor pit boss had to come over a spray disinfect the area. They took it seriously.

The bars were closed but at the time of this review they were opening back up in a few days with some capacity restrictions. If you go to Vegas during this time or in the future spend the extra and come to the Wynn. They do it right.

Been here now about 10 times. Always stay at the Wynn Tower Suites (worth paying the extra for the Tower section otherwise it feels a bit like any other 5000 room hotel). Rooms are spacious and extremely well designed. Bathrooms are large with big baths. Bathrooms have an abundance of supplies such as hair spray and mouth wash etc. The Wynn complex is still the best thing in Las Vegas. Surprising that it is 16 years old but still feels brand new, and also that nothing has come close to bettering it. When I'm in Vegas I rarely leave Wynn. Worth strolling across the road to Fashion Mall for some shopping but generally the restaurants, the tables and the atmosphere inside the Wynn complex is far superior to anything outside it.

This hotel was spectacular. It blew my mind from arrival to departure and I am so glad we stayed here, especially after visiting other resorts.

We booked through Allegiant so we were upgraded rooms automatically and given $40/night of food and beverage credit. So right from beginning I was happy because it was about the same price as the lower end hotels on the strip and they weren't offering credit when I booked. Upon arrival, I was impressed with the beauty and magnificence of the decor. It was amazing. We got checked in and made our way to the hotel room, scanning our key cards to get to the elevators for safety reasons. We were room 5565 and the view was breathtaking. The room was large and the bathroom was more than I expected. I really appreciated the Alexa for turning on/off the lights and opening/closing the curtains. It was a nice tough. The beds were a smidge too soft, but that was just personal taste.

We enjoyed food at the SW steakhouse and the cafe in the morning. I appreciated being able to charge it to the room and not bringing my purse down. Both places were very good quality of food and I highly recommend!

I also used the gym everyday and I have to say, it was some of the best gym equipment I have ever used. It was on the floor with the spa and it opened at 6 am. You signed a new waiver everyday and they gave you a water bottle and towel upon entering. No hotel gym that I have been to has ever compared to this. It was a great experience and I enjoyed working out there!

After 4 nights, we checked out via the email that was sent so we didnt have to go to the front desk to do so. They also allowed us to stay until 1 pm since our flight was a bit later. I greatly appreciated this.

So the only problem that I encountered was regarding the $40 a night in food and beverage credit. The allegiant site clearly stated we were to be given $160 in credit for our trip. Then I got the bill and only like $60 was taken off. And when I called they explained it was 40 per day and not accumulated. So it took off $40 for our steakhouse and $20 when I got coffee and a breakfast. Now i was mildly annoyed but i wasnt going to get mad bc it was allegiant fault for their wording. But before I even responded, she was like let me get the manager over and get it fixed please hold. And they took the whole $160 off!!! Soooo nice!

The whole experience was amazing, do yourself a favor and stay here!

Wynn took the COVID precaution to another level. They have infrared temperature checks. Everyone had to wear a mask and if you didn't have one they had new ones to be given in many areas. Hand sanitizers were placed in so many areas.

But the bed....oh my goodness. It was soooooo comfortable and nice and cozy 😁. The cleanliness of the room was top level. They provided 2 face masks, a nice gel hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes in each room. I was on the 26th floor and got a great view of the strip and surrounding area.

The staff members were really helpful and nice. It was my birthday so I dined at the newly revamped buffet. You get the same all you can eat but instead of getting it yourself the wait staff brings the food in petite plates. Only a few misses with the food but it was worth it.

Resort just opened yesterday, June 4.

For those wondering, all employees are required to wears mask, but guests are not. Appears from our experience thus far that less than half of guests are wearing masks. Masks are available at front desk, concierge, or Red Card desk. Masks, sanitary wipes and disinfectant gel is provided in each room.

All amenities and paper items in rooms are single use only. (Looks like all the progress we made environmentally during the shutdown will be made up for with single use everything).

Rooms and linens are cleaned and disinfected daily and the room is then sealed to assure you no one has entered since then.

Turn down service is only done upon request.

In room controls (lights, drapes, temp) can be controlled via Alexa device.

No minibar. Minibar offerings and ice are available through In-Room Dining.

Must make reservations for the pool. No limit for how long you can stay and it sounds like there is no strict limit on number of people.

Reservations required for the gym. 50% capacity limit and time limit of 45 minutes per person.

Reservations for restaurants required. Buffet not open.

No shows open yet.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Wynn over 4th of July 2020. We don't visit Las Vegas often so we took a long time researching where to stay there. We couldn't be happier with our choice of The Wynn Hotel!
It's a beautiful property in what I would call a "modern elegance" style. We stayed on the 29th floor in a luxurious king room with a spectacular view that one can enjoy right from their bed. The room was styled in beige tones with so many touches of quiet elegance. I am very picky about the bed and almost never satisfied as hotel mattresses tend to be on a softer side whereas I prefer a firmer one. This mattress was perfect, and i never experienced any discomfort during the 3 nights that we stayed there. The bathroom deserves a separate mention - using it definitely made me feel like royalty. My boyfriend was excited about shower pressure and mentioned it several times.
Another fun fact is they provide a tablet that one can use for opening/closing curtains, adjusting room temperature and other functions. I am usually not into tech stuff but this feature was super easy and convenient to use and I took full advantage of it.
As we traveled during COVID-19, I will mention that the hotel staff went extra mile to make everyone feel safe. Disposable masks were offered everywhere in common areas and left in the room daily as well. During a time like this it was impressive how the ambiance was kept relaxed and enjoyable and like a breath of fresh air.
If I am to travel to Vegas again, I would choose The Wynn. Why look for another place when this one has everything you need and beyond?

Everything about our stay at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas was perfect. It started with calling the hotel for a last minute reservation and someone picked up the phone after 2 rings! The woman at reception was very gracious and found me a room in spite of not having a reservation. Her price was cheaper than the best price online.

Our primary reason for staying at the Wynn was that their pool is open until 7 pm and reopens at 9 am. (Other hotels aren’t closing their pools at 5 pm in spite of temperatures well above 100 degrees!) The pool is huge and beautiful and their are plenty of lounge chairs for all guests. No reservations are necessary during the covid pandemic.

The hotel and casino are very strict about no one being sick (everyone’s temperature was monitored as they walked into the building). And everyone (staff and guests) wore a mask!

Our room was huge and beautiful with a gorgeous bathroom.

And the location is in the middle of the strip so we were able to go for a long walk at night.

We ate at the cafe which was very good.

What impressed us most about the Wynn Hotel was when we learned from two staff members that during the couple of months the hotel was closed in spring 2020 because of the covid pandemic, all 16,000 employees were paid their regular salaries. No one was laid off or furloughed! We could see the loyalty the employees have for their very generous company.

We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Las Vegas.

My husband and I recently stayed at Wynn for our second time - Wynn is officially our spot to stay in the future. The rooms are beautiful, beds are comfortable and we select the rooms with a nice view of the strip. During our last trip there we attended shows at the Encore Beach Club. Obviously that is closed now so we spent time at the resort pool and it did not disappoint. The Wynn has always been clean and professional and is even more so with covid. Temperature checks, hand sanitizing stations and really enforcing their policies (not like other resorts we stayed at during this trip). Our first day there we accidentally went to use the wrong door and were immediately asked to use the other. Thank you for having such wonderful policies and enforcing them! It made us feel safe!

During our last visit we ate dinner at Allegro twice and this time opted for takeout. Easy, quick and wonderful food. We also were able to enjoy the buffet during our last visit which was a bit pricey for me since I do not eat a lot but my husband really enjoyed it. This stay we had breakfast at Tableau and it was fabulous. Our first morning I believe our waiters name was Abdel and he was so attentive. We had ordered bottomless Prosecco and our glasses did not go empty. He took the time to chat with us about where we are from and thanked us for coming out and helping bring business back to Vegas.

I am already looking forward to our next stay!

No they don’t. In love the older slot machines as well but they have pretty much all up to date machines. Your best bet is to try Flamingos, Casino Royale. They have the older machines to play.
