I am an avid explorer of Death Valley and always stay at the Exchange Club when I am bunking in Beatty. It's comfy and clean and rooms are very spacious, with fridge, micro, and coffee. In all seasons it's comfortable and reliable. Cross the street (Hwy 95) and visit the authentic Sourdough Saloon. We get beer and burgers with onion rings. The motel also shares the parking lot with J's Barbecue, another excellent place to eat.

I stayed at the Exchange Club Motel in Beatty, and what a very lovely stay I had I will be back there if need be again.Everything was exceptionally clean not one hair out of place with the extremely white comforters on the bed, and all the clean and white linens and washclothes in the bathroom.. Kudos to the maid service. I also love and admire the fact a mircowave and refridgerator was in the room thats such a pleasant touch..everyone was warm and friendly especially the check in staff. The young lady with the pretty yellow daffodil flower blouse on. YOU ROCK! I appreciate you being so patience and kind with me and also friendly.. Please keep up the Excellent Work!

The room was large with a lot of storage area and counter space around the sink. The room had a split bathroom, the toilet and tub in one area and sink in another. The television had few choices and no local channels. The room did have a microwave and small refrigerator. It had a wall AC\Heat unit was was very, very noisy. It would kick on and off every second, the compressor wound kick on, the fan would kick off this cycle continued all night, on and off, off and on until my eyes rolled. We couldn't sleep. The staff were friendly. No breakfast options are offered here.

My husband and I stayed in Beatty for a few nights while visiting Death Valley. This is a nice, very clean and recently updated/renovated motel. We enjoyed our stay. Beatty is a very small town, so there are not a lot of options. We were extremely happy that all rooms are non smoking. The room had a mini fridge and microwave, comfy beds and a large shower. The hotel staff were very nice and it was quiet. Not a lot of eating options in Beatty, but we would highly recommend the Smokin’ J’s BBQ restaurant adjacent to the hotel. It was super yummy!!

We took a chance on this trip to Death Valley, foregoing the park hotels which were 3x the price. We were a little concerned on arrival, the exterior isn't the most inviting, but were pleasantly surprised to find the recent reviews on this property are correct; the recent renovation has made this a little gem, and a great value just over a half hour from the main sights in Death Valley. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable of our road trip (in more expensive hotels). The room was clean with no hotel/cleaning odors (although the lobby wasn't quite as nice). There is a good restaurant on the premises. From a value perspective, the exchange is definitely 5 star, but overall, very good and recommended.
