Amenity areas super clean. Excellent kitchen facilities and close to accommodation. Cabin was the smallest, yet the cheapest. Comfortable bed, fridge, jug provided. Nice outdoor seating area. Great location.
Im in a motor home with a boat. The facilities here were simply outstanding and very close to a great launch ramp. Drive in and drive out …. no backing. Boat wash and fish cleaning area. Outstanding "awake" owners who are there to make your stay as good as it can be. Very friendly atmosphere. I will be back !
We stayed for 2 nights in Unit 1. Clean comfortable unit (no kitchen/bathroom). Communal kitchen and toilets/showers super clean. Buildings and grounds really well kept. Kylie great to deal with. Nice playground and small pool for the kids. Awesome friendly feel to the place. Heaps of parking for boats outside the holiday park on quiet road. In the price bracket it’s in (cheap) five stars !!
Very friendly and helpful staff which go out of their way to help you. Facilities very clean and tidy. Simple but very quirky setup. I will stay again when I am down that way. Highly recommended. I 😊
We often stay at this holiday park with our kids, not only because of its proximity to the lovely Waikawa Bay (for fishing and swimming) but also because the hosts are always very friendly and helpful. The facilities are kept clean and tidy and the pool is great on a hot day. The only negative is that there is not a lot of space as the driveway is a bit narrow and the cabins are quite close together. But we love it and will be back again soon.
The cleanest ablution block we have come across, so many activities for the kids and a short walk to the marina! Great pool and a coffee cart! Staff were super friendly, pukekos in the morning were friendly!
Highly recommended for families. Great facilities, good pricing, lovely atmosphere, fun and quirky grounds, pool, playground, bathrooms always clean and tidy. Free showers, well equipped kitchen. Short walk to the bay, helpful and friendly hosts. That’s why we keep coming back.
We stayed in Picton for two nights in a kitchen cabin. The place is beautiful! Their website and online photos don't do it justice. We were surprised by how quiet the place was despite the number of families/visitors staying there. Toilets and showers were clean and easy to access. The kitchen was clean though the electric stove was a bit slow to heat up. I certainly would stay again!
We stayed with campervan after staying g at other places this was by far the best. Well kept. Great amenities. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money and location excellent. Clearly well loved place with great people
Planned to stay on a powered campsite for one night and ended up extending our stay. This beautiful campsite is fab value for money and we’ll certainly return next time we’re in that neck of the woods. Highlights for us: 1. Beautifully maintained, spacious campsites (I’ve been to other sites nearby and you feel very hemmed-in by other campers - that’s definitely not the case here; pitches are spacious and clever hedging gives a sense of privacy. 2. Super-clean ablution block and kitchen. I also love that the showers are no extra cost. 3. Lovely grounds, filled with cute and quirky bits of art, ornaments and curio. 4. Playground for the kids. 5. Friendly, helpful hosts. 6. Peaceful atmosphere. Ka kite ano, Waikawa Bay! Thanks for a lovely stay. :-)
