Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
Somewhat hard to find, small, but nicely restored former agricultural place. Therefore rural tourism. The owner was waiting for us to arrive, greeted us very friendly, spoke English and French, but after setting us up, left the premises and we did not see him again for the rest of our stay.
Rooms are in modern design and painted in light orange and yellow tones. Calling our room a suite, is very bold to our eyes. Should a suite not have at least two rooms? There is a tennis court and a swimming pool. In the breakfast area one can make use of the kitchenette and fridge. Rooms have airco, but our remote was missing. So it was either putting the card in the reader and freeze, or take it out and bake. No hairdryer. If you want anything, drink or snack, you have to bring it yourself. Oh yes, there is a little bit of coffee or tea that you can make. Breakfast was very basic.
Beware internet addicts, no internet! ..... Yet.
FYI: through the valley there goes an ancient Roman trail and some indicated walks over it can be made. The one we did, 11km, was interesting, with a few remains such as signposts here and there. You encounter wild goats, cattle and horses. No danger, they go out of the way as soon as you approach. And they make pretty pictures! Wear goed shoes, a hat, take something to drink and to eat.
