Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I stayed here the night before heading to Bozeman Airport. Our room was spacious and quiet with a nice view out the back. It was quiet and we slept well. Our only issue was it took a really long time to get hot water. Rates in Three Forks are high because Bozeman has gotten so expensive. Normally I would expect this room to be somewhere between $90 to $120 a night but we paid closer to $140. This motel does not offer any kind of breakfast. The lobby doesn't even open until 9 am. But the Wheat Bakery is nearby (walking distance) with good coffee and baked goods. If in the area again we would probably stay here.

It was pretty clean, and the location right off the highway. My main beef was the air conditioner put out heat on the sides of it, so it never cooled off the room and I couldn't sleep. I ended up opening the window (at least that was possible). No breakfast, so we went to the Wheat Montana Bakery nearby. This is okay motel if you don't expect too much.

We were glad to find this hotel near the oldest geocache in MT! Our room was clean and plenty big with a coffee maker, refrigerator, small dining table, and desk. It was surprisingly quiet given the semi parking nearby. The bakery within walking distance was amazing! We would stay here again.

This was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at and we have travelled a lot. First off we had a non smoking room. We opened the door and it reeked of smoke and wet dog. I had to keep the door completely open until we went to bed. The towels had holes in them. The walls and ceiling let so much noise in I thought maybe they were made of cardboard. There is a place for trailers literally next to our room. I went out to take a picture of the sun set and had to go by one of the trailers. The door was open and the man sitting on the floor with so much garbage I couldn't believe. The place is situated behind a truck stop. I did not feel safe or happy about our car in the parking lot. We paid $150. for a night-this was disgusting. Do not , I repeat do not stay here. Drive down the road a little farther and find something cheaper and in better shape.

Everything was great at this motel except breakfast did not start until 9am, way too late for us. The desk was not manned from 9pm to 9am. Otherwise, the comfortable bed and quiet night's stay was amazing.

Stayed here one night while road tripping with my dog recently. Kind of a weird hotel. Tucked way behind a truck stop/gas station so not the easiest place to even see. Not much at this freeway exit in general. Hotel was pretty basic, not the cleanest floor and a little depressing and sketchy outside. There is also a small RV park that butts up right next to the hotel that just adds to the sktechy-ness. Anyway, I was there one night, slept well and left. I probably would not stay here again...location and hotel were just odd but it served its purpose.

Was supposed to be vacationing in Yellowstone but the floods that closed the park happened that week. Had to change my plans last minute. I had already been planning on going to Bozeman and Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park after Yellowstone. Found this place and thought it would be a good location right in between both places. Right on the freeway and also on the highway coming from Helena. Also was able to use my Wyndham points to get a free room here for two nights. Well, it was a good thing the room was free. Looked pretty trashy on the outside. Almost didn’t see it as it’s behind a truck stop. They put me upstairs but the stairs weren't too bad. Sketchy people were hanging out on the second floor. The first thing I headed for was the fridge to put my drinks from my cooler in it. Was really disappointed it didn't have a freezer for my ice packs. But even worse there was a nearly empty soda inside still there from a previous guest. The bottom shelf was absolutely filthy from something spilled in it. I think there were dog hairs all over the top of the fridge. Gross. Then I go in the bathroom. The tub was NOT cleaned at all. Hairs were all over. Not just one or two. Hairs ALL OVER the tub and shower walls. Ewwww Stained towels. And for some reason there are four conditioners and no shampoo lol. One soap. The soap smelled nice so I used that in the shower. Glad I had extra soap with me to use at the sink. So after seeing the bathroom I was really concerned about the bed. Other than one tiny thing that looked like a bug dropping there wasn't anything else to note about the sheets or pillows. No hairs. Seemed clean. Didn't wake up with bug bites. The clock radio was not even plugged in. The tv was a decent size, but the screen quality was poor. Few channels. The internet was actually not bad. I was able to upload some vacation photos online without issues. Could hear doors slamming and people stomping by. Also could easily hear the neighbors next door through the wall. Nowhere close by to get something to eat so I just heated up canned posta in the microwave both nights. At least the microwave looked clean and worked. Awoken at 6:45 AM the first morning by a yapping dog. This was even over my noise machine. Exactly why I wanted a dog free place to stay but could not find one anywhere in that part of Montana. Did not sleep well. Bed seemed fine, but could not get comfortable. At 8AM there was a loud barking dog right outside my door. Did not sleep well the second night even though no one woke me. There was noise around 5AM that morning. Definitely not restful. It could have been worse. There was a laundry room but I did not use it. Had an ice machine so I could get some ice in my cooler. But despite the convenient location to the freeway, I definitely cannot recommend.

Nothing special, minimally maintained property, good for an overnight, but if one plans to spend quite a bit of time there, may want a bit nicer facility for the price. GREAT that they had a senior discount. Distance to eating etc. a drive. Wheat Montana Bakery next door great for breakfast, but closed too early for us to eat dinner.

Stayed for a night while heading to Portland. Room was clean and anenities were standard. Breakfast is not included nor available on premises. Beds were comfortable. There is a Pet fee. Property is Close to I-90. A/C in our room was not working well, nor was the Wifi. Facility is behind a truckstop and has an adjacent RV/camp park that seems to be becoming the dominant business as it appears there are many long term residents. Exterior appeal of the facility is lacking. This property is 4 miles from Three Forks, which is a quaint town with great places to eat. Try the Iron Horse in particular. Probably will not be a repeat customer as total charges for a double queen including pet fee and taxes, etc was over $200. Not a great value in my opinion, but an adequate accommodation if nothing else is available.

We stayed on our way to Yellowstone and were just passing through. Overall, it was a nice little place. The lobby was neat with Indian and Montana decorations. Clean room and friendly staff. It was one of the better Travelodge's that we have stayed at.
