Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing place to stay!! And for the money, nothing else compares. Full kitchens (bring yours own cookware, plates etc), large fridge, VERY clean room, beds are super comfortable, bathrooms are fantastic-really nice lighting over sink, excellent shower pressure and quiet-couldn’t hear people above or next door. My husband and I were blown away by how great everything was and we paid less than $80 per night. We stayed at a Hilton a few weeks before for over twice the money and it paled in comparison. We’re sold. Highly recommend!!!

The best hotel ever. I felt safer. My family too. My children rode their bikes around without any incident and they were always kept well locked. We never lost any property. All the employees are good and treated us with great respect.

I travel a fair amount for work and just discovered My Place last year. After staying at all the other mid-budget places in Missoula and Kalispell, My Place is hands-down the best bang for buck. Cleanest rooms, really nice beds and pillows and the kitchenettes are useful (especially the full-size fridge because I pack all my own food).

Do not stay at this hotel.

The staff was awful. In 5 days, not once was anyone at the front desk. Any time we needed help, I had to hunt someone down. We couldn’t get clean towels and our room did not get cleaned once in 5 days. One young girl on staff was helpful, everyone else sat outside smoking or wasn’t around at all. Apparently, we stayed during some kind of problem stemming from corporate, but that is no excuse for the absolutely abysmal service at this place. People who didn’t work there hung out with staff and confronted guests, housekeeping sat in the back office and read a magazine, boxes sat stacked in the lobby for days, pallets sat in front of entrance for hours. It was literally ridiculous how bad the service was. It was like they set out to hire the worst staff they could find.

We picked this hotel specifically b/c of the "full kitchen" they keep advertising. I even called and was assured by the front desk there was a "full kitchen." We were traveling with 5 kids and wanted to make our own food to save on costs. When we arrived we learned there are no pots or pans, no spoons, no knives, no cutting board, no plates or silverware. NOTHING. We could ask for plates and silverware if needed, to which request we were given flimsy paper plates and plastic forks. Have you ever cut an apple for children with a plastic fork? Normal hotel rooms without a "full kitchen" often have microwaves and fridges, so what's the benefit of staying here? There is a stove top (3 burners) but NOTHING to use on them! What a joke. EACH time we went to the front desk there was no one there. We were told to call "0" from the lounge phone and someone would answer. With a family I would have rather stayed at a place with a pool and a free breakfast and tried my own plastic silverware to cut the apples!

When you book a Hotel room with a kitchenette you would think that simple things like crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils would be provided. Not this hotel. I was advised at front desk that I could buy them if I didn't bring them. Who brings saucepans, plates etc on a weekend getaway??. I was finally offered paper plates and plastic knife and fork! But no cooking utensils.

The trash bin in room had not been emptied from previous stay. The coffee machine was missing a major part (pod holder) so coffee could not be made. The downstairs servery had no hot water available. No tea or milk offered in room. Our room cards ceased working after first night. Air-conditioning loudly thermastated on and off throughout the day/ night. There was no ice available in fridge, on arrival, because the ice maker had been turned off. Housekeeping was only done every 4 days

On a positive note, the room was attractive and beds were comfortable, there was a full size fridge and microwave

Flabbergasted with the high rating. Appears to be a fairly new building. Very sparse. Hard bed. Poor insulation. Could hear adjacent room noise. Right on I-90 also contributed to noise. As with other businesses today, skeleton staff. Hard to find anyone at front desk either in person or by phone. The bathroom and kitchen had not been cleaned. The bed looked like someone had slept on top of it. Sheets appeared clean. A few personal items still in room. Food left in room. No soap or toiletries of any kind. When these issues were brought to the front desks attention, the unprofessionally dressed representative became flustered and didn’t know what to do. Said housekeeping was just leaving and we could try and catch them. Breakfast-you could choose a frozen burrito, granola bar etc delivered to your room and you could microwave it. We passed. Felt so uncomfortable with the cleanliness, sprayed everything with Lysol, including carpet. A whole can. Very odd smell. Next time we travel I-90 we will not stay in Missoula. $200 for unclean, nothing room is outrageous.

Arrived at the hotel about 6pm on Sunday 10/17. There was a new manager, Steve Kehm, that I had never met even though I stay there often. He promptly made the statement, "I'm here from corporate to straighten this place out". He was loud, rude, wouldn't give me the type
of room I had reserved, then claimed he couldn't find my corporate rate and overcharged me. When my apprentice showed up, who also had reservations, Steve told him he had made arrangements for him to stay at
the Motel 6 across the street. We later found out that he simply refused to clean the available rooms. We have seen Ana, the regular manager, have to clean rooms herself many times due to personnel shortages.

It isn't enough that I have signed up with Myplace Rewards, for this place, I have to sign up with them to get points for my stay. Check in took too long and I was assured I wouldn't notice if pets have been in the room because they are cleaned after every pet visit. Upon arrival at my room, I was greeted by a pet damaged recliner and the slight scent of dog. Having pet allergies, I don't appreciate that. Additionally, I couldn't get the TV to operate then found the cable box was unplugged. Once plugged in, every channel on their guide card showed "not authorized". I made two calls to the front desk for assistance but no one picked up. kazzaml is absolutely right; no cutlery, utensils or cookware of any sort but the ice tray does have ice in it. Guess where I won't stay again

I was charged $241 for a $140 room. Asked why I paid $100 more was told “Oh, I saw that”. I was then reimbursed $50 and still charged $191 for a $120 room. I called and was told that that an extra fee is added to any room. Really. It is like a standard room, no breakfast offering and charged that amount. “We charge $50 extra for all rooms.
