I had a fantastic experience at Staybridge Suites in Missoula. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, ensuring a smooth check-in and offering helpful local tips. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast was a real highlight—plenty of delicious options to choose from, including fresh fruit, hot items, and pastries. It felt like a home away from home, and I truly appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Staybridge Suites to anyone visiting Missoula—definitely a top-notch choice!

Stayed with two dogs, $25 total for both, one night. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite, on top floor, which was delightful for the extra space, although we didn't use the full kitchen. Nice to have the vinyl flooring in the kitchen for feeding/watering the dogs, and I wish hotels would start doing away with carpeting in all rooms.
The windows opened only about 4 inches-- not enough to suit my wish for fresh air. Thankfully the room was not overly scented with cleaning materials, and the the room was mostly clean (as evidenced by our dogs lack of interest in sniffing the carpet, but one of them found something to eat just under the bed).
I don't get why a double queen room would have a nightstand only between the beds-- so as the person on the outer side, I had no place to put my glasses, phone, etc.
The hotel sits along a small river, with benches and a walking path, and currently there's an empty field across the river--nice for the dogs. The dog waste-bag dispenser was empty.
Excellent breakfast, really good choices esp for non-meat eaters, with an impressive selection of granola, cut fruit, fresh berries. There was also good bacon, nicely cooked.

Without a doubt the best hotel in Missoula. I live in hotels for my job and this place knocks it out of the park. The breakfast bar has fresh fruit, yogurt, real meat and eggs, the nighttime social from 530 to 7 serves up beer and wine with a pretty spectacular light meal. All free. Laundry is free and the rooms are like mini apartments. The hottub is actually hot and clean and the staff is amazingly friendly. Anna the manager that I had the joy of meeting tonight really knows what she is doing in providing a wonderful guest experience. I have stayed at every other hotel in this town and none compare. 5 stars for this hotel!

Stay away from this hotel. Wish I had an option to give negative reviews to this hotel and its management.
I arrived at this hotel around 1AM on 07/26/24 for a night on my way to visit Glacier National Park and was left stranded the whole night as they were unable to check me in, citing power outage and inability to access their systems. I could see the hotel had partial power and the lobby had lights and even people were checking out early in the morning but despite all this they denied checking me in. I tried frantically calling hotels around and was unable to find one at the dead of the night and having no place to go I was left stranded in the hotel lobby. I felt unsafe in a completely new city and since I had no vehicle, I had no option but to stay in the hotel lobby through the night. In addition to that, upon confronting them, as to why they didn't deem it important to inform me about this before hand, they were clueless. Instead they asked me to sign on a paper with my details so they could verify my reservation and cancel charges if any, when they have their systems back. This behavior could not have been be more pathetic and unprofessional. To my utter astonishment my card was never charged even when I hadn't checked in.
As if this was not enough, they scammed me by reserving me a third party airport pickup without mentioning anywhere that it was a paid service. I had called the hotel 1 day prior to my checkin and had requested for an airport courtesy shuttle that was mentioned in their website and was given a number to contact and reserve a shuttle .I was picked up by a shuttle and when I reached the hotel the shuttle driver charged me $35 saying they were a private company and not part of the hotel. I was never informed about this. I would have preferred Uber since the hotel was just 2 miles away from the airport and it would have hardly cost me $10 for the trip.
Few things about the hotel checkin issue that raised my suspicion that they were oversold and the issue they mentioned about system was just an excuse.
- By default when you have a confirmed reservation and you don't checkin you would get a charge on your card, but I was never charged for this booking.
- Hotels around that place were all booked for that night.
- They never reached out to me to inform they had an outage so I could have planned accordingly. The reason for power outage was a storm the previous day which means they had plenty of time to reach out to me.
- This hotel had a lot of people and power was not completely out. They could have verified my reservation by calling their customer care or their other franchises , few blocks away, that didn't have any power issue.
The sad part is, even after raising this issue multiple times to both hotel management and IHG customer care, nobody has reached out yet.

I booked this room for the first floor and asked for the nicest king size suite available, two weeks prior through there hotel booking department.
We pleaded with them when we got there because the receptionist couldn’t give us a 1st floor room. She said
(You requested a first floor room but we don’t have any)
I didn’t understand because I booked this weeks ago.
Then we got our room and it was just a queen bed and small kitchenette very small not at all the best or near the best room and not even a king size bed I definitely requested.
I asked again the next day for a room change and the receptionist was so rude and no first floor suites.
I showers and my husband after me showered and we only had 1 towel. I called the receptionist and asked for more towels than 1 and she said I had to come downstairs to get them. Why on earth is there only 1 towel and they won’t bring you up more you have to get them yourself.
The hot breakfast is really bad like questionable if you should eat the eggs . The do have other food like yogurt and fruit that’s fine and the breakfast staff is friendly.
The pool .... well no one tells you this until your trying to open unlock the door to go swimming, your key doesn’t work for the pool , you have to get a special key from the receptionist and lol you have to make a reservation to go swimming, thankfully no one was in the pool because otherwise in our bathing suites would of had to get the bad news your not going swimming and wait our tern .
I payd 200 a night for a basic room and a hot questionable breakfast and , Crappy rude service.
The marrot next door has a much bigger pool and nicer rooms for 159. Never again will I stay there this was supposed to be a weekend getaway for my husband birthday . this was so frustrating . I don’t usually do reviews. Oh and tiny freezing pool.

We visit Missoula every year or two and always stay at Staybridge Suites. We were there recently for two nights in June and it is still a wonderful place, even with the precautions taken for Covid. The staff was universally friendly and professional. A special mention goes to Colleen, who manages the breakfast in the morning and social hour on some weekdays – she was excellent at all times. They prepare different hot breakfast entrees each morning, which you can complement with fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, muffins, bagels, etc. On some evenings, they also offer a social hour, with beer, wine, and a rotation of snacks and light meals. They do everything with attention to Covid safety, but the result is still very good.

We were travelling with our adult son so we got a suite, which was in great shape and very large and comfortable. The Staybridge is not the least expensive hotel in Missoula, but we believe it offers the best overall value and look forward to visiting again.

Stayed in a double queen bed suite. Layout was great with refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, & plenty of seating in living area. Separate sleeping quarters. I thought the wall mounted shampoo, conditioner, & body soap in the shower was a great way to cut down on waste. Plentiful breakfast options with fresh fruit. Pet-friendly.

We stayed her for two nights for a wedding in town. We were able to get an early check-in which was wonderful as we had a wedding the at 4:00. The room had a fully stocked kitchen and living room. The room was great but the carpet was very dirty. After a few hours we realized our feet were dirty and needed to be washed before going out. From then on we needed to wear shoes in the room, which I hate doing when it is 37 degrees celsius outside. However, the redeeming factor was the breakfast. Wow what a great breakfast - amazing fresh fruit - not canned or frozen but fresh. Blueberries, strawberries, melon, cantaloupe, watermelon, black berries, grapes and more. Great hot food and yogurt and cottage cheese. The coffee was a good wake up too. The staff were friendly and kind. I would not hesitate to stay here again....hopefully the carpets are cleaned soon. All in all a good experience.

This hotel was the best stay on our entire trip. The entire staff was phenomenal. The hotel was immaculate. The room was fantastic. It literally had everything you could possibly need for a vacation other than personal items of course. Even the shampoo and conditioner provided was amazing. We even got to utilize the hot tub.
There are specific people I would like to mention:
*Kayla, Anna & Peggy from the kitchen staff. It was the most amazing breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel and that is definitely saying a lot.
*Elysa & Mitchell at the front desk were fabulous and I would stay just about anywhere with that great of costumer service.
*Amanda & Bubba with housekeeping definitely deserve a huge shout out they were kind, helpful and the place was perfect.

I have never had such a great experience with a hotel and every single employee I met went above and beyond.
This is definitely an amazing place. I will be coming back and absolutely will be telling all my friends and family about how awesome our experience was. Plus you can beat the price.
We stayed at several places along the way and most were more expensive, but the other places were not nearly as nice as clean, and they definitely didn’t have staff as incredible as the staff at Staybridge is!
Thank you to each and everyone of you and we will be seeing you again in the near future!

We stayed here twice recently, about 10 days apart, and had a terrific experience both times. Our rooms were very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was as good as you’ll ever see for a chain hotel buffet. The only glitch was check out on the second stay - inexplicably IHG does not have online checkout, and the desk clerk kept me and the 4 people behind me in line waiting for 15-20 minutes while she chatted with a potential customer about rates and strategies to get the lowest price. I would (and did) stay here again anytime.

Our shuttle is an airport shuttle, so that is our priority. However, Big Sky Brewing is on the way to the airport so we could probably do it, but we cannot guarantee that you could go when you wished, it would have to correspond with any previously arranged airport shuttles. There are local taxi's if that arrangement would work better for you. We look forward to your stay!
