Huge hotel capable of hosting family groups. A short ways of the interstate so it was very quiet outside. Older building with rustic decor. Friendly staff. King size bed was rather bouncy but we slept well. Clean and no sticky carpet! Breakfast was brown bag to-go (COVID 19 precautions), including small breakfast burrito, granola bar, fruit cup, yogurt, orange juice and water. Grab a spoon as there isn't one in the bag.

Expect loud hallway noise. Large gap under the door lets sound and light into the room. Weather stripping under the door would be helpful.

I'm surprised the reviews for this place are as low as they are; these people should stay in some of the places I've stayed. We were lucky to find a room for under 100 in Livingston. Their pet fee was just $10 each, which wasnt bad at all. Even though the lobby smelled a bit mildewy (likely because of the pool which is closed for covid -a good time to empty and clean it) the room was surprisingly nice. The beds were comfy and the linens were clean and white, very nice towels too. It was cleaner than most too. There's an elevator, which was nice for dogs and dragging luggage. Down sides: The public areas (especially carpets, rugs, floors) need a good cleaning, the heater in our room didn't work at all, and the remote they gave us when our room didn't have one never actually turned on the tv, a minor issue. I'd stay there again.

The indoor pool was great, one of the few in the city. The entire hotel from parking lot to rooms have not had any fixing up for some time and could use a couple of good full time maintenance men and some new carpeting. The room was clean, though the 1st room the toilet didn't work so had to move. The complimentary breakfast never arrived by 9am when we left - ordering in due to Covid. The entire place just looks and feels tired.

Stayed 3 nights this past weekend and will never stay there again. On the VRBO listing it was stated that there was both an indoor and outdoor pool. When we got there, the place looks run down, there is no outside pool, and the indoor pool is closed with no water in it. One of the reasons we chose this place is specifically for the pools. The blonde gal checking us in acted like it was a bother to talk to anyone. Once in the room, one of our beds didn't have any sheets or a blanket, only a mattress pad and comforter. The following morning when housekeeping "cleaned" our room, they left a sheet on the table for us to put on the bed ourselves, and a bunch of sunflower seed shells in the bed and on the floor. They also didn't take out the garbage or clean up the used towels we left on the bathroom floor for them. We called down to the front desk and had an extremely helpful person (short dark hair) that brought us clean towels, but that was the only positive to the stay. Throughout the entire time, the bathroom faucet never completely shut off, and on the last day of our stay, the faucet knob actually came off. The floor of the bathtub was gross....needs a good scrubbing to get all of the dirt off it. The shower walls have mold and mildew in the grout. Thank goodness we only needed to sleep here. For the roughly $450 we paid for 3 nights, there should be a few basic things such as a clean room that happen. This place was nowhere near what the VRBO pictures claim it to be and it was definitely the worst place I've stayed.

We reserved two rooms and upon arrival, the front desk could only find one room on our reservation. The front desk employee was neither kind nor helpful (she also was not masked and the state currently has a policy requiring masks in all public areas). Once the problem was solved, we headed to unclean rooms ~ Garbage was still in cans, floors were not vacuumed, bathroom counters were dirty. We used our own Lysol wipes to make ourselves comfortable enough to sleep since we were leaving very early the next morning. Spend a little more and stay somewhere you will be comfortable, it will be worth it.

I read Lodge reviews before booking but ignored the advice of others. It was hot (July), late and we were tired of driving a long distance. The front desk was friendly and curteous. She had a cute baby kitten wrapped in a towel that was probably from our room because we were shorted a towel and wash cloth. When entering I noticed fans in windows of rooms. I asked the clerk if our AC was working. I didn't ask the right quesiton. Yes, the AC unit was working but not cooling. Just circulating hot 80 degree room air. I asked the clerk about the AC not cooling and she commented that the hot weather from the week before knocked out units and it probably "has not recovered." The room was large and spacious. We opened a window and by morning the room was 79F. Finally, a shower and some sleep. Shower water varied between hot and cold depending on the neighborhood use of the same. To bed and sleep. No mattress pad and sheets we extremely well worn (100 thread count) and without elastic on bottom sheet. If you turned in bed the sheet would lift off mattress and we ended up sleeping on the bare nylon matress along with the dead skin of 1000's of previous guests. A shower again in the morning to wash off and the same temp fluctuating shower. All in all we had a memorable experience to write home about and sometimes the worse places give you the best memories. If you like to 1) ignore other's advice and 2) an outdoor camping experience, this is the place to stay.

I called several times before chosing the hotel, I asked questions about the pool, breakfast, and local attractions. Specifically the local horseback tours for my kids. I booked the hotel as part of a family trip because it was close to Yellowstone national park, and because the information I was provided by the hotel receptionist. As a high note I'll start out with she was kind but unfortunately misleading. For about 100$ the pool was infested with dead bugs atleast 100+ as soon as we got in the water my kids had bugs in there hair and sticking to their skin. I am so alarmed to say three dead flies were in the drain of the shower after I showered from being in the pool maybe 10 mins, until I discovered how disturbing it was. We told the desk attendant it was gross she made it seem normal and said she was going to clean the bugs out shortly. Also while in the pool there were grown men swimming in there brief underwear, and were partially exposed each time they exited the pool. Our door to our room was wide open when we arrived I quickly realized it was because the room reaked of mold, pot, and cigarettes. My sheets had food crumbs all throughout and I had a greasy hand print on my bottom sheet and drool stain on my pillow. It was so bad I felt I couldn't breathe in the room and it as my daughter is allergic to smoke is was causing her asthma to act up. This is also a animal friendly hotel and it certainly smells of it. Wouldn't recommend 10 out of 10. The hotel was disgusting and the people that were there staying were questionable to say the least, seems to me like possibly a hotel locals frequent. Not a good place for a family.

Rooms were not cleaned well - bathroom was really bad. Restaurant was closed, very few staff to clean rooms, had to wait until they cleaned it, and then it wasn't done right. Grab and go breakfasts don't really get it and there is no discount for reduced services.

The positives I can say about this property are that the front desk girl was friendly and helpful. There was garage parking, if we wanted to use it. There was a “Covid style” grab bag breakfast of an oatmeal fruit bar, can of juice, and small bottle of water. They are very dog friendly but (here start the negatives) the room smelled “very dog friendly.” And nobody cleaned up after their dog in the outside potty area. Room was not cleaned well. There was mildew in the shower and hair, (looked like shaving stubble) in and around the sink. The hallway reeked of marijuana and cigarette smoke, which did get into our room a little. It gave me a horrible headache. I think some of this was because of the type of clientele that the low rate attracted. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you only care about the price.

Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for not meeting your expectations. You are correct with the type of clientele that has been staying since we do offer lower rates, and having a housing shortage has been problematic. We are trying our best to uplift our property so everyone can enjoy their stay. Once again I deeply apologize. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly. the young lady at the front desk gave us our room key with the #210. went to the room, tried to enter, the room was occupied and we were screamed at by the occupant. returned to front desk, clerk was facetiming with her significant other and acted as if it was a bother to have to wait on us. the next morning there was no maid service. the online ad for the motel showed an extensive breakfast bar, reason we chose this motel. in the morning there were brown bags with water and OJ in them and a frig with cheap breakfast burritos in it. when we were going to leave my wife went to look for a luggage cart, was told the cart was in the parking garage, to go get it herself.
