Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here while visiting Yellowstone . Had a great 3 night stay. Clean park next to the river and friendly staff. Has a laundromat open 24 hours , has sewer sites altho we stayed in a non sewer site and used the clean bathrooms as well as big sinks outside the bathrooms for dish water , also has a small store .40 minutes to north Yellowstone entrance.

HUGE disappointment. Rude and confrontational staff. Nothing friendly about this KOA. Grounds over grown with weeds and dead trees, rundown pool. Price increases and poor experience over Labor Day weekend had us canceling our plans for next year.

The pool was a major letdown. The entire pool building needs a major remodel. The showers in the pool bathrooms don't work. The whole building is in such disrepair that it may need to be torn down and rebuilt. The website said the pool was heated, but it was the coldest pool I've ever been in. 2 of our kids felt the water and refused to get in and the other 2 were shaking relentlessly from the temperature.

This is a terrific place to stay. We only wish we were not pushed for time and could have stayed more than one night. It is very quiet and the area is beautiful. The owners are wonderful and I understand the fishing in Montana is great

This was a great place to stay. New owners took over and the staff are young and inexperienced. The guys are pushy and rude. The road leading to the campground has been torn up by the county and it is dusty, bumpy and horrible. Expect your RV to be filthy by the time you make it down the horrible one mile to get there. If you are downing your Truck with be filthy dirty and you might need a front end alignment after you leave.

This is a somewhat busy park and very close to Yellowstone. Given the location I was impressed. We were not on the river but could easily walk to it. Nice valley, with fresh air, birds, etc.the site was just fine for our 31 foot rv. Great place for a few nights

We stayed here for our trip to Yellowstone. It was very practical for access to the Yellowstone north gate, but also close enough to Bozeman to allow a trip to the Museum of the Rockies. The site was quiet and very family friendly, with a great playground and lots of activities. The kids had fun searching for all the little figurines hidden throughout the site. We stayed at a number of RV parks around Yellowstone during the trip and this was our favorite.

This property is located approximately 40 minutes from the North entrance to Yellow Stone and 15 minutes from Downtown Livingston. The road from the highway to the campground needs repaved and is filled with pot holes and bumps but this is no reflection on the camp just a heads up. When we arrived at the campground we were met by KOA staff that were pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. They answered my questions with ease and had a nice gentleman escort us to our camp via golf cart who also assisted us with guiding our trailer into the space. In the evening, we were provided free smores at the front desk / gift shop. Our spot had a patio set with views of the Mountain Ranges, the Yellowstone River and Paradise Valley. The mosquitos were a little annoying but to be expected given the proximity of the river to our campsite. The picnic tables in some camps, the pool, and laundry facility were maintained for cleanliness but could use some updates as they were showing their age. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and peaceful night of rest at this location.

The road to the KOA was terrible potholes, bumps etc. Needs repaving. Maintenece is not a high priority. No grass just rock. Kamp K-9 was a joke it was not convenient to take our amall dogs. No grass just dirt. The plants need water. The only watering done was at the residence.

We were lucky enough to go to Yellowstone the weekend it opened its Montana entrances after closures happened for Covid. I think it was the opening weekend for the Livingston/Paradise Valley KOA as well. It was a fabulous location - about 45 minutes from Yellowstone, so an easy morning drive before entering the park, and not too far away at night. Prices were incredible for the area - but the service and facilities were fabulous. Bathrooms are a little dated, but that is not an issue for my family. We enjoyed it so much, we came back and stayed again in September!
