Most hotels were booked, and we were lucky to find a room at the Travelodge. When we first pulled up, I was quite hesitant. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the room.
The room was large. The beds comfortable. There was an indoor pool. Wifi was free and accessible. The service was good. I could park in front of the room.
I would stay here again for an over-night trip.

We were given a room where the sheets HAD NOT been changed! There were stains and pubic hairs on both beds. We complained and the front desk clerk said she couldn’t give us a refund but would give us a different room. That room ALSO had filthy sheets.
We refused to stay there and checked out. We have called their complaint line and emailed them directly and not had a response trying to get a refund.

Disliked · I'm an old Army guy so it takes a lot to offend my sensibilities. This place is dirty and run down. My room was dirty, especially the bathroom which was disgusting. The bathroom floor was obviously not swept/vacuumed or mopped and had all the visible signs of ancient linoleum. The sinks was not wiped down.
Tiny sink area. Bizarre comforters on the beds. The screen of the air conditioner had probably never been cleaned (you can see it looking down from the controls). No soap provided and then shower wall-mounted body wash dispenser was empty. The Kleenex box holder was empty and it was very kind of the housekeeping staff to leave me two decaf coffee packets and no regular coffee.
Enjoy entering your room by walking through the grease coming out of the kitchen of the Mexican restaurant next door? Then this is your place. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the restaurant (we ate in downtown Livingston) but if you've worked in a kitchen you know what the back entrance looks and smells like.
All of this combined to make me uneasy about the cleanliness and completeness of turning this room over on preparation for my stay. If I hadn't been so tired with an early morning, I would have left.

Room was not cleaned properly. Took photos of a few things just to make sure we wouldnt get charged for anything. Not to mention my son almost cut him self on the side if the bed. We were in a hurry for a wedding so didn't say anything. My mother stayed behind with our son.
Staff tried to enter our room twice without a heads up (if they knocked we didn't hear) thankfully the latch was over our door.
Then after they changed us a $125 smoking fee and we don't even smoke. When we asked them about it they were very unprofessional and said "There's nothing we can do about it, we all smelled it in there. Here's the number to call." And flipped a sign over. They would not even hear us out!
The room is small with barely enough room between the beds and furniture, very small refrigerator, incessantly barking dog two rooms away, the room was warm but we cooled it off by keeping the window open, there is no coffee maker in the room, though available at the office 24/7. No breakfast of any kind, though Albertson's is right down the road on the other side of the freeway, as well as Starbucks and a local drive-through coffee company. An authentic Mexican family style restaurant is right next to the hotel, which does not serve alcohol, so if you want a beer with dinner you'll have to order to-go. Downtown is a short drive with plenty of options for food and shopping. I won't be staying at this hotel ever again.
"No pool and phones don't always work. No pool available. Employees are courteous and try to be helpful. Would stay here again. "Read full review
