Detailed Reviews
I was here for 3 nights for a conference. This hotel has had some terrific updates since the last time I was here. The bedding was wonderful. There are great shower heads in the bathroom. The staff was gracious. The first night a shuttle driver came right up to us as we were checking in to offer to drive us downtown for dinner. What a treat. We ended up using this service all 3 nights. My first morning I was a bit disappointed that the coffee was not ready at 6:00 am. A staff person, Jim, heard me ask the front desk person. He disappeared and came back with a fresh cup in his hand. It was very kind. The stay was great, the WiFi consistent - a real plus- and staff friendly. I did not have a chance to try the pool or fitness area. Is definitely stay here again. Kudos.

My husband and I stayed on 4/3/20. The updates to this property are phenomenal while obviously attempting to keep as much historical integrity as possible. Roberta struck up a conversation with my husband which concluded with a late night tour of the property. Her love of this place and it's history is obvious. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she is a benchmark for hospitality workers every where.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding, and really enjoyed it. The hotel is very dog friendly, which I appreciate. In fact, ask for a room with a sliding glass door if you are with a pet. The staff checked to see if we needed towels throughout our stay. The parking lot is very well lit, and the hotel overall was very clean including our room.

I made a 3 night reservation at about $280 per night.
Upon arrival, I was informed the hotel restaurant isn't open for breakfast. The hotel's website in several places advertises that the restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner. The front desk clerk said the restaurant hasn't been open for breakfast for almost a year.
There was also signage at the front desk indicating that daily housekeeping isn't provided. The hotel website advertises daily housekeeping
For guests with Marriott platinum, titanium and ambassador elite status, there is a "pantry" down a hallway that had junk food snacks, a coffee machine, and a mostly empty refrigerator of soft drinks. That was it.
While the lobby was attractive and looked renovated, the complete lack of amenities and services was unacceptable. Especially at $280 per night.
Without a fully open restaurant and without daily housekeeping, you are better off staying at the Holiday Inn Express, Fairfield Inn or Best Western Premier.
All things considered, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Looks like the hotel is being updated. Entrance and lobby very appealing and clean. Rooms were updated and clean. Our room smelled like it must have been a smoking room at one time. Although breakfast is available, the buffet cost $16.95. Had I read closer when we booked that it wasn’t included I would have stayed elsewhere. Fitness area well stocked and clean. Staff very friendly. Helena was a last minute change due to Yellowstone closure and doesn’t quite compare

Rooms were clean and done will. Bed in first room mattresses needed replaced. They were broken down on sides to the point that you felt like you were rolling out. Breakfast was good but the same day after day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Our bed was too soft and the heat was either way too warm or too cold. It could not find a happy medium. The fitness center seems recently renovated and was really nice. Price was reasonable but would be disappointed if we were there in the summer paying summer rates. The pool and hot tub were closed until January. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The makeup mirror installed on the wall was way too high. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

This hotel really wows with the rustic feel that matches the surroundings where it was built. Check in was a breeze, rooms were clean, breakfast was wonderful. We had such a wonderful stay!!! We will definitely be back when we visit again.

There were popcorn crumbs on the floor of our room which indicated that it had not been cleaned, room smelt badly of cigarettes, and restaurant was closed. This hotel was built in the 70s and had a bad refresh in the early 2000s and it shows. This is not what I have come to expect from Delta hotels and hope Marriott does something about this. Until something changes I would NOT recommend!

Sorry we do not have room with recliners, but all our rooms have four pillows (some rooms have six and 8 in the double queen rooms) and an extra one in the closet. We get may great comments about our new beds, possible if you used all the pillows you may be able to prop your self up for a comfortable night.. sorry but that is my only suggestion. Thank you for your inquiry, sorry I could not be more helpful! Best regards, Terry.
At present we do not have barbaque pit, but it is something we will consider in the future, we are in the process of designing our outdoor courtyard and that may b a feature we could add, I will discuss it with the management team next week, thank you Terry
