Carlos Nakai – to name just a handful – are honored alumni of the Feathered Pipe Ranch.

I spent a week at the ranch with the Yoga Sanctuary from Punta Gorda, FL. It was the perfect setting for meditation, yoga, hiking, and unwinding. Since this is a review of the Feathered Pipe, I'll focus on it. The ranch was pristine, peaceful, and dotted with "sits" where you could take some time alone surrounded by nature and just be. There was a variety of lodging options from the main lodge with shared rooms, to individual rooms, cabins, yurts, tents, and tipis. I stayed in a chalet room with a friend where we had our own private bathroom. The bedding was cozy and fresh towels, soap, blowdryer, etc were supplied. The food was excellent and served buffet style. It was a treat to have tofu prepared in a variety of ways along with chicken and even salmon one night. There was an open salad bar with lunch and dinner. The staff were friendly and eager to help in any way to make the stay comfortable. Outside, there is a private lake with kayaks, paddle boards, and a canoe, as well as hammocks and chairs to relax in. I can't wait to go back again.

I attended the week with Brant Secunda with a friend both of us open to new learning and a new experience. The retreat was amazing and everything we hoped for. I left feeling rejuvenated, connected, and curious. The connection of the Huichol Indians, taught through the shaman, and nature is spell bounding and beautiful. The magic of the Feathered Pipe Ranch is real. The ranch itself is ultimate peace. The people are extraordinary- it is the kind of place that children grow up in helping their parents and continue as adults. It is literally staffed with generations of family rich in love. And I would be remiss not to mention the food- AMAZING! Every ingredient is chosen with care and any dietary restriction you have will be accommodated. I will go back as often as I can. Thank you Brant, Marlyn, Darlene, and the Featherpipe family for an unforgettable experience. ❤️

I've been to two retreats here, and both of them were great. Feathered Pipe has a long history of high-quality programming, and takes great care in selecting teachers to feature at the facility. I attended retreats with Lauren Walker and Sonia Azad. Both were amazing experiences.
The ranch staff is genuinely focused on ensuring the comfort of the guests. They go out of their way to take care of you, show you around, and make sure you have a great experience.
The grounds are impeccable, and the outdoor accommodations are unique and fun. I've stayed in a cool yurt with a skylight onto the Montana stars, and a sweet cabin with a loft. The bath house has a sauna and hot tub, which are perfect after a dip in the spring-chilled mountain lake.
The body work and other wellness offerings are really special. I signed up for all of them, and was never disappointed.

I found the Feathered Pipe Ranch when looking for a Shamanic healing retreat to attend. Although there were 3 retreats within driving distance of where I live in New England, I chose to go to the Feathered Pipe in Montana after I reviewed the website and saw the pictures and beauty of the land. The Ranch exceeded my expectations! The land is beautiful, the staff are all helpful, kind and happy, and the food was amazing! I chose to stay in a tipi, and although the week happened to be chilly, the sleeping bags and blankets provided, as well as the opportunity to use the hot tub and sauna, kept me plenty warm. The outside accommodations are indeed a very short walk from the bathhouse, dining hall and main lodge. It was advised several times during the week if there was anything one needed to ask - I did not, however, I know if I had, the staff would have resolved any needs. I would HIGHLY recommend attending a retreat at the Feathered Pipe Ranch. If not for my family, I would not have wanted to leave!

Feathered Pipe Ranch is a wonderful sanctuary whether you are traveling solo or with a friend/family member. I have spent a week every summer for the past 4 years in yoga retreat at the ranch. The staff are warm and helpful, the food amazing and the bedding so cozy for a good sleep in the fresh air. My time at Feathered Pipe is something I look forward to and cherish each summer.

The facility is serene and peaceful, and it is operated by an attentive and well organized staff who enjoy working together. The food is superb! The lake makes for a refreshing swim or fun paddle board. The accommodations are comfy cabins or more adventurous tents and tipis.

I had a truly incredible experience at Feathered Pipe Ranch. The property is breathtaking! I thoroughly enjoyed walking around and taking in the views every day. The staff are exceptionally warm, kind, and helpful--everyone seems to really love being there and is eager to make sure you have a very special stay. The food was delicious and plentiful. The accommodations, both outdoor and indoor (I tried both!) were beautiful and comfortable. I will definitely be back!

Feathered Pipe has it all..gorgeous location, complete serenity, beautiful log lodge, pretty pond, wildlife, healthy delicious meals 3x day, friendly helpful staff and weekly programs to educate and improve yourself. We attended Judith Lasater's wonderful yoga retreat but they only bring in impressive teachers so attend any that sound good to you. Go!!

I really enjoyed the outstanding program I attended and the fabulous food and unique outdoor yoga deck. I would have liked opportunities to go outside of the ranch as a group for excursions if it was offered. I also would have liked more choices for single rooms and it would be a treat if there was an indoor cozy lobby or common area for reading and relaxing other than the dining hall especially needed during inclement or cold weather.

Thank you for your input! Glad that you enjoyed the Nature Deck and food! Excursions are completely dependent on the intention and desires of the teachers themselves. We facilitate if they wish for that option. Most though I would say come to the Ranch because the intention is to drop deep into the practice, nature and community. Single accommodation choices include Ranch Chalet, Lake Cabin, Honeymoon Cabin, Teachers Cabin, Yurts, Sai Condo, Deluxe Wall Tent, Tipis and Regular Tents. Sorry that none of those worked for you. Possibly the desired accommodation was already taken happens which does happen with the Chalet, Lake Cabin, and Honeymoon Cabin in particular as they are in such high demand. Beyond the Dining Hall for a relaxing space to read there is the reading library above the Main Hall as well as unlimited areas of peace and seclusion in Nature. Take good care and hope to see you again.

I have been coming to Feathered Pipe for 19 years. It's a very welcoming spot for a yoga retreat with a very soothing ambiance, absolute privacy in a beautiful forest estate. Crystal Waters has taken over the direction of the camp. She brings a groundedness that embraces not only her mother's original organic earthiness but also a new sophistication (she spends over half the year in Europe). Highly recommended
