I have stayed at this motel numerous times, as I travel to Helena often to see my in-laws. This isnt a bad motel, but the only reason I would stay here is because of the price. There are plenty of other nicer hotels in the same area for about $10-$15 dollars more. I think the thing I hate most about this motel is the shower head....which for me is an important issue. It barely sprays any water....and the water that does come out is not in a "stream, its more of just a "mist", which does nothing when you're trying to rinse your hair out. Basically other that that, its an ok motel for the cheap price your paying.

Sorry for the cliche title. I guess I did a Motel 6 tour for my summer road trip. This one in Helena was not nearly as bad as the one in Billings but never-the-less, it did leave a lot to be desired, even at $55 a night. We were given a smoking room at first and then transferred to a non-smoking room. For some reason, that was smelling of smoke as well though not nearly as bad as the first one. There was a damp stench coming from the carpets that was so oppressive that we were glad to leave the next day and get some fresh air. The beds were clean and so was the bathroom. The pool looked clean though we didn't use it and the coin laundry was very reasonably priced for a buck to wash and dry. WiFi was not provided free of charge and that was irritating for this day and age. I decided to use the cell phone for accessing the internet as I refuse to pay for WiFi. The motel was close to restaurants and shops but it didn't feel safe enough for the kids since they had bullet proof glass in the lobby for late night transactions. It was reasonably priced when compared to the competition but the experience will have me strongly re-consider a Motel 6 in the future.

We stayed here on business and had two rooms. The rooms are barely acceptable... a little dirty in the corners, outdated amenities and thin walls. Our business kept getting extended so we kept extending our stay. The staff at the desk are friendly but this location and corporate do not work well together. The desk couldn't extend our stay because we booked over the phone, then the reservations put in by corporate didn't match in the desk computer and so on and so on. This happened several times a week for 3 weeks. The desk staff were very friendly and did what they could to help, but it is obvious that corporate gives little to no support.

Pig barns has better code of cleanliness than this hotel. Window was busted door was not able to lock or seal sheets were from. Last guest lots of low income.e people using g this hotel as a main place to live we left after 30 mi uses for fear of our own safety don't stay here your life depends on it

The door to the room was open (not unlocked, open!!) when we got there. The condition of the room was appalling. Stains and burn marks(?) all over the carpet, one of the beds was clearly broken and slanted and the toilet was very clearly not cleaned. Went back to the front desk to get a refund. While there, they were receiving multiple calls about the power going out in rooms. Very sketchy, don’t stay here.

This place is filthy dirty. The carpet was beyond disgusting. The tiny twin bed (not even a queen) for 2 was pushed into a corner. When we moved it away from the wall, years worth of garbage were exposed - used condoms, can't wrappers, food...
The place should be condemned.

The rooms are really nice, clean, and very well organized. I also like how comfy the beds. The bed was so comfy that I fell asleep as soon I made contact with the mattress. Another thing I liked was the bathroom which was very nice and clean.

Weather made us stop on a trip south so looked or an inexpensive room for a quick night. Pulled in and it didn't look bad but soon as we moved parking spots our regret in booking started and continued until departure.
Room was kind of clean but not really, it is very old and in need of a compete reno. Broken down cars in the parking lot.
Cheap rate that is advertised outside is not what they delivered on.
Overall complete regret wish I would have spent more and stayed somewhere else.

I was so lucky to find this place. I showed up in Helena to start a new job and did not get a chance to plan ahead where I would stay. This was the first place I found off the freeway, and it has a refrigerator, a freezer, and a microwave—everything I needed for an extended stay until I could find an apartment (and not a bad view out the window either!). Thank goodness for America’s Best Value Inn!
