Just not overly impressed with the structure of the hotel. Lots of damage around the hotel inside of the rooms inside the showers none of it properly fixed. The swimming pool both times were there had issues the second time was worse than the first the Jets were not working nobody on site was able to fix it and then the pool was completely filthy dirty the whole area around the pool area was filthy dirty they have a lovely fireplace and chairs but that’s never working either so quite a nice area if it was cleaned up and fixed and the staff actually knew how to do stuff out there

Great place for an overnight stay clean & quiet. Would stay again as it is close to the I -15 interstate and convenient to many places would also recommend Bullmans Pizza in Helena as a great place to eat. It is a small place but food was great & service was excellent.

Overall, our stay here was very comfortable. The room was clean and the bed was very nice. Our only complaint is that the facility overall is a bit dated. The building could use a coat of paint, and the rooms are reminiscent of the '80s. Otherwise, it was great. As close as it was to the freeway, it was nice and quiet.

For starters when we walked in not one person working here was wearing a mask, front desk or cleaning staff. The next day there was one person at the front desk that did wear one.
Went into my room and found a wash cloth with dried blood on it, not an old stain which would be bad enough but actual dried blood. Took it to the front desk her response was simply " oh gross, want a new one?" There was hair and dust bunnies on the shelf next to the bed, the carpet felt sticky, there were stains on the walls and there was old urine stains around the toilet seat and the remote control for the TV had no batteries in it! I would not stay here again ever.

When I checked in the clerk didn't even ask me for identification. I prepaid my reservation, but still expected to be asked for identification. I was already uncomfortable with how the outside looked shabby. Inside was definitely dated. We were a party of 3, got to our room and had 1 bed!! The room smelled musty and of old cat pee. Since I repaid, we figured we would make the best of it, if we could a roll away or cot. Went to the front desk the guy was like I doubt we have any and left to look. He was kinda gruff about it. Came back and said he checked and they were out. Talked with the family about trying to decide where we would sleep. Another member of the party said let's just be out the money and went to a different hotel that was more accommodating. We only used the bathroom in our room and it was clean, but definitely stained and old.

Hello I apologize for the clerk not checking your identification - we will revisit the issue with all staff. We generally give guests what was reserved by them. If one needed a room with two queen beds just let us know. Sometimes those rooms are $5 more on some websites, We usually don’t charge a difference for our standard rooms - king or two queens, if you booked a king room but want or needed two queens please contact us - we will do our best to accommodate. There was a wrestling tournament in town and some a requested rollaways when making their reservations. When making reservations through a third party please watch the details - many reserve handicap rooms because sometimes they are on the top of the list even though they don't need a handicap room. You had reserved a single king bed room when you made the reservation. The cleanliness issues were not mentioned in your prior review that you placed online. We diligently work to provide quality accommodations at a reasonable price. We should have been more diligent to get you taken care of and for that we are sorry. Sincerely, Jeff K. General Manage

Stayed at two locations. At first loud refrigerator noises at 4 am made sleep all but impossible. At second location, loud heating/ax noises after 4 am made sleep all but impossible.
Assume cheap and/or poorly maintained equipment to blame. If earlier I would have changed rooms. People come to sleep and don’t want to be disturbed or do endless middle of the night room changes. Won’t stay again.

Yikes. I've stayed at about 10 Wyndham properties so far, mostly La Quintas, and this has to be the most run-down example. It's definitely time for a refresh... besides the general wear-and-tear, the closet door was broken and the toilet ran all night. The floors were very dirty and my dog immediately found several "snacks". Normally, I would have complained or asked to move rooms, or even found another hotel, but it was 10pm and in the middle of the pandemic. Thankfully, the sheets and upper bathroom surfaces appeared to be clean, so I decided that since I'd already moved through the hallways, I'd avoid any further exposure and stay put. Staff was masked; guests mostly not. overall, I'd say that this stay is worth about half the rate I paid.

We stayed here 3 days. Poorly run hotel. Seemed like a hotel run by 20 year olds. The room was showing signs of neglect. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and moldy. The girl prepping breakfast was blaring music from the room where she was working. Breakfast was not good. The pool was super small and green in July. One morning about 8:30 I went to the front desk to ask a question. The young man there was eating breakfast and annoyed I was bothering him. This is not a cheap hotel. Take my advice, stay somewhere else.

The staff members here were extremely understanding and polite, although one in particular stood out to me! My flight had been cancelled because of the weather. The front desk manager checked me in late at night and made sure I was comfortable. I got a good night's sleep and enjoyed a warm breakfast. When the time came for me to check out, the same front desk manager offered to drop me off at the Helena Airport (instead of calling a Lyft) before she drove home. I could no thank her enough! I will definitely be staying here again when the time comes for me to visit!

Plan A was to stay at the Ramada Inn located a block away. After viewing the property and having been rubbed the wrong way by the staff, we cancelled with them and was relocated to LaQuinta. Could not have been a better plan B. Right from the start the front desk was extremely helpful and KIND! We immediately felt safe, comfortable and relieved! The location of the property is on a busy street but once you were inside the property you couldn't tell. The pool is located along the busy road too and it was still a pleasant experience with the kids in the heated outdoor pool. Breakfast was hot and fresh. I would be happy to stay here again if ever in Helena again! Wonderful experience.

LaQuinta Hotels do not usually charge for pets. Check with individual hotel to confirm for that property.
We follow the LaQuinta standards for pillows per bed - we always have additional pillows in needed. the standard is 3 per queen bed and 5 for king beds. All of our queen bedded rooms are two beds per rooms so therefore 6 pillows to the room.
We have fridge and microwave in all rooms.
