Detailed Reviews
This is an inexpensive and relatively large campground and RV park far in the northern suburbs of Helena. It is one of the few camping choices in this area. It makes for an adequate stopover. Staff is friendly and efficient and the facilities all work--laundry, showers, etc. but things are showing their age. The lounge and common areas are rather poor. There is a very spartan store, so get supplies in town. Reasonably large sites, with some good wind protection. There are a few derelict type people around. Overall not the best place but for the price a reasonable value.

My friends and I couldn't find a local campground nearby, so we stopped by the campground to stay for the night. Staff very rude and not good at customer service. charged us $50.00 for one night for a full service on site hook up(i.e. power water and septic hook up. After 3 hours of a massive run around with the employee we ended up leaving the campground with out our 50.00 and ended up camping on the side of the. Property is in real need of cleaning remove the old trashy trailers and remove all the drug addicts and other riffraff that live there
Will never return and will be in touch with bbb about this trash hole in helena mt

Needed a place at the last minute when we came for the fair. There were openings which now does not surprise me now. She put us in a "better spot" - it was in a dark, unkept area between two rundown long-term RVs. The yelling, swearing and fighting from next door was incessant and threatening. We could not leave anything outside, locked everything, stepped around garbage and dog poop.We were very glad to leave and recommend that you stay in the Walmart parking lot rather than this site.

Didn’t look like it would work but was a nice place to camp. The KOA down the street doesn’t have tenting sites and from what I gather have no interest in getting tenting sites. This place use to be a KOA, but think with more interest would really turn around.

This, so called, RV park is totally run down the pictures are not of anything at this park. It is filthy the office was closed when our group of 7 RVs arrived. The office looked like it had been closed and locked. Finally a person who lived there in the 3rd world country full time portion of the park (not a park like place) came by and suggested we just find any space we wanted. As we were ding this the manager finally showed up and started telling us what spaces we could use attempting to put 36 and 39 ft 5th wheel RV's in 30 AMP spaces that were about long enough for a 20-30 ft. She had no clue what she was doing. She even screwed up the billing that we had to go to our Credit card companies to staighten out. grass all dead and very dusty and dirty grounds.

This was a KOA but it must have been YEARS since it was sold out from under that name. The place looks like it hasn't been touched in eons. Dried, brown weeds cover the park, and the rigs that the permanent residents live in are as run down as the park itself. I stayed two nights and It was not worth the $42 I spent for each night. My site was very narrow so there was no room to much of anything. The dog walk was full of poop, and there was garbage all over the place. Needless to say I won't return. The only redeeming factor was the lady running the office was extremely nice.

Just not kept up at all. Not mowed, dirty, most all RV's in there are run down, lots of garbage everywhere. The facilities are not clean. The pool has been taken out. The fences are falling down. It's really sad that it's been let go so bad. It used to be a very nice KOA.
