Our family friendly RV Park and Campground is located on the banks of the Yellowstone River, just north of the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. We are the perfect starting point into the Northern Entrance of Yellowstone, just 5 miles from Mammonth Hot springs. We provide or guests with clean bathrooms and shower facilities, as well as full hook up for RVs. With the Yellowstone river running below the park and Electric Peak towering over us, I can't think of a better way to experience the evening under the stars!

We decided to stay in Gardiner on this trip to YNP since we stayed in West Yellowstone the last time. Yellowstone RV Park is a very nice, small park sitting right next to the Yellowstone River. It had good hookups with adequate water pressure and steady electric.

We were forced to leave before our week's reservation was up because we had to have our coach towed out of the park and to Billings, MT, 168 miles away to be repaired. We were supposed to be gone by 11AM in order to receive a refund for the day but we were unable to leave until 11:30. The camp hosts still gave us both days credit back on our credit card even though we had left a bit late. I thought that was very kind of them.

The only two things I can complain about are the drive down to the park is quite steep and potentially dangerous, and the rate charged for the park is extraordinarily high. Their rate was the highest we paid at any RV park during our 98 day cross country trip. I guess since YNP is so popular, the RV parks around there can basically charge anything they want and get away with it. Because the value simply wasn't there, I had to give this park a four star rating rather than five.

Well maintained park with FHU that is super close to the North entrance of YNP. We love staying here- we’ve stayed here last year in late August into early September and stayed here again this year in late Sept into early October. Nice camp hosts and they offer Good Sam and AAA discounts. Amazing views of the river. Dog friendly. Coin operated laundry, dish washing station, and renting also available. Back in sites along the river view or pull through sites. Closes for the winter. Elk love to frequent this park. I love staying here!

We enjoyed three nights at this small location. Just on the edge of Gardiner and the Yellowstone River, this makes a perfect place to unwind after a long day of touring Yellowstone. Staff are on-site and attentive to any needs that arise. Our level gravel site backed up to the river where we watched antelope feed on the cliffs across the river. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful.

We just got into town and had a spot reserved at Yellowstone. Unfortunately we got lost inside and had to leave. We looked for rv parks nearby and found this one. The park was full and we had zero water thinking we would be hooked uP. We asked the owner if we could use their water suppy directly where we were and she said no. Knowing we were not from town and lost with no place to go and no water at dusk still would not spare a few gallons of water. NOT A TRUE RV'ER. KARMA

We had a river site for one night, which had a decent view. This and the location are the reasons to book. Everything else in my opinion is a negative. There are a few feet between sites (literally), there are no trees/shade/privacy, and they allow rigs and vehicles that are way too big for the sites. The website notes RV sites are about 35’ wide, which is inaccurate. We could barely back in because of the lack of space and trucks parked up and down the gravel drive. The truck next to us is backed in sideways on the few feet we have of our site. My neighbor’s window is open and right outside where I am sitting, and their dog barks every time we speak. The site advertises park wide WiFi (see screenshot). When you check in, you get a paper that says they don’t guarantee WiFi at your site and it’s at the main building. Sounds like a bait and switch to me! Propane personal fire pits are allowed but no wood fires. I saw 2 washers and 2 dryers. There are so many great campsites in the area and next time we will stay at a different one.

We just returned from 7 days at Mack’s Inn RV Park and thoroughly enjoyed it. The folks were very helpful with everything from helping us park to coming and taking us to see a mother and calf moose in the neighborhood. On site store was great for wood and ice (they had other stuff, too).

We stayed here to visit Yellowstone NP. This RV park is on the Yellowstone River. You have to get early start because the north entrance to Yellowstone has only two lanes. At 9 am a small backup. At 11 the backup was 1.5 miles, yikes!
This RV park is convenient and well maintained. Verizon was weak because of the hill.

We enjoyed a week stay in our motorhome with great views of the Yellowstone River and rafters going by daily. Facilities were clean and the hosts wonderful. Seemed younger kids enjoyed the playground. Grounds well maintained and elk frequented the park which generated lots of pics. Close to Yellowstone NP north entrance. It can get windy in this canyon without warning so be careful with your awnings.

The setting for this RV park, along the Yellowstone River and just minutes from the north entrance to Yellowstone, was simply exceptional. And the cost compared to similar parks at West Yellowstone was an absolute bargain. We had 3 families with our campers/RVs, two of which had back-in slots with the river as our backyard. Gardiner is a unique town and we were glad to have stayed there rather than in the park. I highly recommend this place if you are planning on a camper trip to the Yellowstone area.

Room Tip: Try to get a back-in camper slot along the river if you can. You will not regret it.

Our family stayed here three nights while visiting Yellowstone. It's a great campground close to the park and right on the Yellowstone River. Beautiful views and you can sit and watch rafters going down the river. The sites are close together but it was fine and the bathrooms and showers were very clean and nice. Convenient location for everything we wanted to do in the area. Will definitely be back!!
