We stayed in this CG for two weeks mid July 2020. The owners are very friendly and keep everything top notch including some of the best shower facilities we have experienced in the last year. They also keeping nice watered grass spaces next to most sites. The full hookup site we had was #1 which is the first site into the grounds which had an amazing view of the valley along with the town of Gardiner itself. The site easily fit our 37' coach and the services were great. We also booked one of the cabins (DC 3) for our children who were able to come in to visit while we were there. The deluxe cabin was clean, cute and also had a great view. The town of Gardiner is easy to walk to though there is a bit of a hill coming up the road to the CG. The town of Gardiner is smack at the north entrance to the park which is phenomenal to access the northern parts of the park. In the evenings be prepared to see deer and elk wander into and around the park. There is a very small fenced pet area with well watered grass though most of our puppy walks were on leash in the area. We booked this site in early May and were glad we did. The CG was full every night we were there. The $75 cost per night is on the higher side for us but well worth it for our stay. We will definately return when we come back.

We were looking for affordable lodging near Yellowstone. This was about a mile from a Yellowstone entrance so that was easy.
We had originally booked in West Yellowstone, but these cabins were so much better!!!! They were quiet (no highway noise) with amazing views!! We had a bathroom and kitchenette. The kids had their own separate (tiny) room and our queen bed was in the same room as the kitchenette. The cabin was small but it was clean. The queen bed was comfortable. We had a window ac unit to stay cool. It was walking distance to the cute town (but there was a hill).
We chose to save money by bringing our own linens; we packed some old sheets and pillow cases and then stopped at a Walmart on our drive to Yellowstone to get pillows and blankets for $5 each (which we will donate later).
As far as the RV park, we would camp here as it was clean and quiet and great views.
The staff was really helpful and friendly too!
Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Nice views, just enough space in between campers on the deluxe sites, close enough the neighbors making noise at 6:45 am was annoying Felt like staff are constantly looking for reasons to leave campers warning lists taped to the door. Ours was for having a small kiddie pool set up on the lawn for our dogs ( they listed no rugs etc on their lawn, so we left rugs off. Received a warning they hand wrote pools on the list then emptied the pool and put it under our camper while we were out!) also listed having 2 nice towels hung on our own railing on our patio for our Toy hauler after having a huge water bottle spill we had to clean up inside and needed them to dry . Completely changed our prospective thinking it was nice there. Another neighbor had one left for her barking dog ( we didn’t notice it barking excessively) While rafting we met a couple staying at Yellowstone Hot Springs, right on the river that looked great and had access to enjoy the Hot Springs and river to swim in. Next time we’ll try there.

I am sorry you feel this way Elizabeth, but we have some site-keeping guidelines to ensure all guests have a great experience. We do ask that our guest abide by these guidelines so the all guest can enjoy our amenities and we feel it is not much to ask for your fellow RV neighbors' sake.

Nice well kept RV park. They had a pull through big enough for our 38 ft semi coach plus trailer that is 68 ft together. The WiFi didn’t work all that well and they have a dog park that you had to walk to to let your dog go to the bathroom. But that’s ok. Nice location not far from the north entrance of Yellowstone. Would stay there again if we go back to Yellowstone. The guy that took us to our pull through was super nice.

I stayed here two nights and loved it! I had a spot overlooking the river and facing the mountains. The bathroom was spotless, shower had warm water, and facilities were well lit. Brian (the manager) was very helpful with info about where to eat, etc. Although I also had a bike with me it was an easy walk down to the market and local shots and restaurants. Even though I couldn’t get into Yellowstone from here, the town is a great place to visit and relax. I would stay here again!! Sun Outdoors is up on the hill on the left side of the river in the picture.

We stayed the last week of September, 2021, desiring to see the elk in their mating times and hear them bugle. When we arrived, we were quickly and courteously escorted to our reserved spot for our RV. The spaces were nicely maintained, we had no problem getting settled, and the view is lovely. Water and electric were good- we didn't use much internet, so I couldn't say about that. Our daughter and her family rented a cabin so we could tour Yellowstone Park together, and she said the bathrooms were very clean and nice, and that the cabin worked well. The bed was a little saggy in the middle- but no other complaints. There were no problems with noise, and apparently, this RV park has its own resident Elk family. We very much enjoyed our visit- and plan to return again.

I couldn’t imagine any other camp ground to be as clean and well kept as this one! They have a slightly strict policy and I totally understand it’s to keep it nice. However, I felt it was a bit too much after seeing management go over to another site and telling them in a round about way that it was too windy to have their awning down. There was also elks that was across the fence that some of the campers were near taking pictures and and he yelled for everyone to get back. Just a bit to extreme

So this is partly my fault as I went off their nice website and didn't read the reviews in details. This place has highly unusual policies about late arrivals. This policy should be on the front page of their website. They have a gate that is locked up after 8pm and all guests better be in by then or too bad. They will just tell you to find another accommodations. No help and no caring. They did text but if you have no reception then again too bad for you. I texted back just 15 minutes later when connection was available but he was unwilling to help. He sent us up a steep dark road to look for pullouts. Really? When he could just open the gate and leave instructions. We are capable. Bottom line, find a different place.

Very close to the North entrance of Yellowstone, its a self-contained RV and small cabins park, so nothing too special. Clean bathrooms, nice showers, but they are down the big hill, so if you have an RV not super close. Check in and out was pretty easy, check out is fairly early, but it is close to shops and amenities. Full hookups at sites.

We stayed 4 nights at Rocky Mountain RV Park and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the park is really well maintained. A short walk from our site provided a beautiful view of Gardiner and the Yellowstone River and north entrance of Yellowstone Park. Elk visited the outside of the RV park each evening and were fun to watch. A nifty cornhole game, laundry facilities and more. We took a peak into one of the cabins and we were super impressed by the size and cleanliness. We would highly recommend and will be back.
