Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

By far the best hotel of our 3 weeks trip. The check-in was easy to do via email, and we got all the information that we needed when we arrived. Easy access for the rooms. The room is very big, and we got one of the "smaller" rooms that this hotel offers. It has one room for the kitchen and bar, one bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and one room with a big bed, and a bunk bed. The beds were very soft and comfortable. The hotel also had some Christmas decoration, so we decided to put some decoration in the room. It was September/ October, but it was fun. This hotel doesn't offer breakfast, dinner or doesn't have a bar, but nearby is the Cowboy Lodge and Grill, which is very nice to visit in the area. It is also a short drive to Yellowstone National Park and everything you need is on walking distance from the hotel, like a supermarket, grill, restaurant and breakfast places. It is also amazing to walk around in the area itself of Gardiner. If you are bored, or you want to sit down for a while, there is a fire pit outside, and there are some board games inside the hotel, like Monopoly (normal edition, but also the Yellowstone edition). I didn't find a common seating area, but the room offers a place to sit down as well. I would really promise to come back later, because I would visit Yellowstone and Montana once again later in my life. This hotel is a hidden gem, as it is not just available on booking.com or other big sites, we did book via the website of the hotel itself. The prices are reasonable in the area of Yellowstone National Park.

This charming hotel has less than ten suites and is situated one block from the Park entrance. Tami, the owner, is very sweet and was willing to provide everything we needed including bear spray and extra kitchen implements. The period-era house has an antique feel and each room is decorated with Yellowstone-themed attire, though the house has recently been renovated and it did not smell musty or moldy. If you want a genuine Yellowstone experience without paying astronomical prices or staying in tourist trap West Yellowstone, this is the place for you.

We stayed in Room 103 and it was better than we expected. It's located around the back, so we were able to park right at the door. Check-in was done via text message. The room was clean and very comfortable. We slept great. We can't say enough positive things about our stay. We look forward to returning in the future,

I wish I'd read the reviews before I booked. I knew the rate was nonrefundable, but given the demand for hotels in the area, I figured they could easily rebook a room if there was a cancellation. Some people got caught up by the park closure -- we got caught up by the Christmas flight fiascos and were unable to make it to Bozeman within days of our original flight, so we had to cancel. As others found, they make zero allowances. They tried to blame hotels.com, but hotels.com told us it was up to the hotel. I'm not sure they made any attempt to rent out our room -- which I paid for fully over a month earlier. They were also extremely unhelpful when I called beforehand looking for any information about restaurants that might be open on Christmas day. Even getting someone on the phone wasn't easy. We've rescheduled our Yellowstone visit for this summer and looked elsewhere for accommodations this time.

I think you have us confused with another place. All these negatives are not who we are, never have been. We are very easy to get hold of, we do refund, we only ones that don't put a time limit for cancellation cuz we know life happens. Usually can re-book, also depends if cancel last moment, and might not be anyone looking for a room as most plan farther in advance. Hotels dot com has never gotten a hold of us, they also charge us fees. It's always best to book direct, be sure communications proceed timely. On Christmas many restaurants don't know if they will be open til last moment, as all have issues finding help, so it's great we have full kitchens and Christmas decor. Many get trip insurance, especially in winter, and especially over the holidays, there is always interruptions, cancellations, obstacles you hope not to have. My manager and I are baffled by your review. We can't find who you are. We don't remember these issues.....

My family and I loved our stay at this hotel! The room was comfortable and well decorated with a small kitchenette and a beautiful shower mosaic. We especially appreciated the hotel manager, Magen and her husband, who picked us up at the airport in snowy conditions and were so helpful, friendly and welcoming during our stay. We could tell how much they care about their guests. We would highly recommend this hotel to others and wished we could have stayed longer! The location is also convenient to Yellowstone National park and you can see the entrance from the hotel.
