Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Individual cabins with a porch and great views. I called to make the reservation and the owners are great. Greeted by a note saying what cabin we were in and to come by the office after we settled. Very nice atmosphere. Cabins were very clean. Only drawback was no microwave. We were there during the CFB national championship game and there was a nice flatscreen and fireplace in the room for us to watch the game.

The cabins are located right off of a main road with lots of traffic, but there wasn’t any problem with noise. The views are beautiful from the rocking chairs on the front deck. Inside there is a refrigerator, no microwave, but a 2 burner stove, pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, coffee pods, and dishes. It was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. There was a small sitting area with satellite tv, and a comfortable bathroom. The owners live on site and are very kind. A great place to stop over.

Canyon Cabins was a wonderful experience. 5 log cabin efficiencies situated on a Beautifully landscaped property facing the mountains. We stayed in cabin 5 equipped w/queen bed, sitting area, table, & satellite TV. Kitchenette features apt sized stove, fridge, Kuerig coffee maker stocked w/coffee and tea & utensils for 2. No microwave. Bathroom has shower, hair dryer, fluffy towels & Tommy Bahama toiletries. Large back porch overlooks nice back lawn with picnic table and Adirondack chairs with views from every angle. Snow was cleared from our porch and drive each morning Property owners/managers live in a cabin on site. Just call to check in and get cabin number or to let them know if you need anything. Steakhouse/bar, breakfast cafe and convenience store/gas located within a mile or so. 20 min drive to Bozeman. Approximately 1.5 hrs from west and north entrances to Yellowstone.

Cabins are clean and bed was comfortable. There was endless supply of hot water in the shower with a decent selection of toiletries. Our cabin had TV, small kitchen with limited utensils, a small 2 seater sofa and a little kitchen table and chairs. There was info on how to use the fireplace, baseboard heat, air conditioner and internet. There was also info on local restaurants and grocery stores. Great place, I totally recommend and will stay again next year on our visit to Montana. Only caution is for light sleepers, it is on a busy road and if you like to make full meals the kitchen is not set up for that. Also the owners were very nice. The surrounding location is beautiful.

We stayed here twice...before going into Yellowstone and on our return trip out. Cabins are very comfortable and very clean. This is a great place to stay if you're flying into Bozeman...only minutes from the cute downtown area and airport. We really appreciated having wifi and cable,, as we stayed at both Glacier and Yellowstone with no access to either. I would highly recommend staying here....Elizabeth, thank you so much for being so accommodating....hopefully, we will be back! :)

This was a great place to stay. Within reasonable distances to yellowstone entrances. Cabins were excellent to stay in and very well maintained. Couldn't ask for a better place and the mountain scenery was beautiful from our porch

Elizabeth and Jerry are the best! This is our 4th stay here. My son was graduating from MSU and I had a large group heading to Bozeman. It was the perfect place for my family. Cabins are always clean and comfortable. We had a cookout and sat around the fire in the evenings enjoying the sky full of stars. We're so glad we found this place when we moved our son to MSU and this was a great way to end his time in Montana. We do hope to visit again. Thank you, thank you, Elizabeth & Jerry!!

We saw this place on tripadvisor and couldn't find the direct number and Expedia said no-pets, so we stopped in to ask directly because we were picking up a new dog that same day. Elizabeth and Jerry couldn't have been more friendly and nice and we reserved before we got our new dog. We were thrilled with the cabin - unlike some cabins that are so "rustic" they are a little less than clean in the corners, Canyon Cabins are spotless and beautiful. The toiletries and supplies in the kitchen are great. There was baseboard heat, a propane stove and an ac unit. I don't think we used any of them but they would be nice to have depending on what time of the year it was. The big screen tv is several notches above what is expected in lodging. The porch and rocking chairs are great in the evening. Unfortunately our dog turned out to be sick and the next morning Elizabeth was so nice and helpful calling her vet and trying to get us in. It turned out to be a stressful experience, but could have been worse without her kindness and concern. We definitely plan to return when we are in the area again and stay longer to enjoy the cabins more.

We stayed in one of the cabins in February while skiing at Big Sky. The cabin was wonderful, a real little home. Elizabeth was lovely and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. We loved skiing at Big Sky, so will return and hope to stay at Canyon Cabins on many more occasions.
