I have known the Powell family for years and have stayed at the B&B many times. Judi is a wonderful innkeeper and just about the nicest person you could ever meet. Tim and I have fished together, and before that we flew together with Western and Delta airlines. I can walk out of my comfortable cabin and be on the "Channel" section of the Yellowstone in a minute. Or drive into the Park and fish Slough and Soda Butte creeks. The setting, just below Emigrant Peak, is beautiful. The cabins are really great. I love this place.

Tim and Judi are by far the best hosts we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. We spent some time in the park but even more time just driving the back roads in the nearby national forests. We saw more wild life out of the park than in it and we saw a lot in it! These cabins are perfect for ease to park or any forests around. They are cozy and very personal. Watched daily deer, rabbits, birds and the day before we left a bull moose! (Thanks to the expert eye of Tim). I do not hesitate at all to highly recommend these cabins. We did have neighbors for a few days in the next cabin and what a pleasure that was as well!

I found their tiny one page website! So I took a chance and called them. We stays for 5 nights. The cabin was clean, gas fireplace and quiet. A home away from home on the banks of the Yellowstone river. Our cabin was two bed room, very private. All the ammenidies for basic cooking. Microwave, coffee, tea, Suger and coffee whightener. Judi brought over a kettle too. Even though they no longer do the breakfasts, Judi bought us fresh blueberry muffins. I want to come back someday and stay in the fall and go fly fishing with Tim and see the fall colours of Yellowstone National Park.

Located on the Yellowstone River outside of Emigrant, Montana, this quaint set of log cottages is the perfect setting for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Our cottage was clean, warm and very comfortable. This establishment no longer provides a breakfast but each cottage is equipped with a stove top, microwave and small refrigerator. We would definitely stay next time we are in the area.

Our cabin was clean and relaxing. The river was right outside the front door and you could set out on the porch in the evening and watch the deer. The location was great, only a thirty minute drive to Yellowstone. Even better then the cabin was the wonderful breakfest every morning. Tim and Judi were friendly and made us feel right at home. We also had the pleasure of meeting Tim's sister, Debra who helped cook every morning. My kids absolutely loved her. She went out of her way to make my kids something special everyday. I would highly recommed staying here.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. We had a two bedroom cabin with bathroom, small kitchen, eating area and living room. Judy our host made delicious breakfasts at the main house. It was a pleasure talking with her everyday. The cabin next to us had been coming to the B & B for many summers to fish. A great group of people who we visited with each night and shared our days events. Yellowstone National Park is only about 30 miles from the cabin. The cabin is located on the Yellowstone river. We would always see the deer every night crossing the river. We also had resident cotton tail rabbits that visited everyday. The many variety of birds in the area were a pleasure to watch. We were close to a lot of attractions. There is a great bakery in Emigrant that we highly recommend. We really enjoyed out stay, will be back some day...

Three of us were staying in one of the two log cabins as a base for our Montana fishing trip for a five nights. This is a good central location for exploring or fishing in the Yellowstone Park, the Yellowstone River, Spring Creeks or other Montana Rivers further afield in various directions. We had a fantastic stay, the cabins were perfect - spacious, with a great rustic atmosphere and well appointed. Very comfortable. The owners, Tim and Judi, were really friendly with great knowledge and stories of the area. And Judi's breakfasts were legendary. Sitting out on the deck with an inspiring view of the Absoroka Range, right on a private stretch of the mighty Yellowstone is going to be a hard one to beat. Highly recommended.

This was a beautiful place to stay. There are two cabins, right on the Yellowstone river. Judi, the owner, was very sweet and accomodating. She also cooks a great breakfast. The cabin we stayed in had two bedrooms with one full/queen sized bed in each, and a relatively small bathroom. There was a nice open kitchen and living room. We were greeted with some delicious cookies. Remember to bring bug spray if you're coming during the summer! There was some in the cabin, luckily, but I'm not sure if it's always provided or not. It's a little hard to find off the highway. It's between mile markers 028 and 029 on the highway. There's just a little sign off the road that's a bit hard to see. Getting in to town is a bit of a pain, especially with Montana construction, so if you're staying here you definitely need to prepare for a bit of driving in order to see Yellowstone or anything else in Montana. But if you're just looking for a peaceful place to relax, this is great.
