We picked the Trout House at Reedfly Farm for our family of 5 to experience the Paradise Valley and northern Yellowstone park. We fell in love with both, and had amazing family experiences that we will remember for a lifetime. Jeff and Robin were incredibly hospitable and responsive hosts. We were welcomed with fresh eggs, bread, wine and jam, and the house was equipped with everything we needed (included a much needed laundry facility). The beds were comfortable, the furnishings first class, and of course, the location on the Yellowstone River can't be beat. The configuration of the Trout House worked well for our family, providing plenty of space, though I would love to check out the Eagle's Nest next time. My husband got to fly fish with an extra rod in the house, and the fish were biting. We got some excellent local pointers on wildlife observation, as well as restaurant recommendations. This is definitely the type of place where we will undoubtedly return to, either as a family or on a couples or boys/girls weekend fishing. I'm already thinking ahead to make this happen!

My wife and I recently returned from a long planned and twice postponed trip to Yellowstone National Park. We were fortunate that we discovered Reedfly Farm. What an incredible place. It exceeded all of our expectations. Robin and Jeff have created a truly exceptional property. The location is only a few feet from the Yellowstone River and offers an amazing view of Emigrant Mountain. We stayed in the Cutbow Suite which was spotlessly clean. Robin was an amazing hostess, providing a welcome basket of fresh eggs, baked goodies, a bottle of wind, and chocolates. Also, we want to add a special shout out to Robin and Jeff's assistant, "Big" Robin. He was incredibly helpful. We highly recommend Reedfly Farm and would love to return soon.

Reedfly is what I'd call a true gem. From the moment you drive onto the property everything is just right. The hosts Jeff & Robin (and big Robin!) are helpful & thoughtful - they went above and beyond to make our stay a vacation we'll never forget. The property itself is nothing short of spectacular, its backyard is the Yellowstone River and the views of the mountains take your breathe away. Every detail in the place is comfortable and well thought out, and it's the ideal location for exploring Yellowstone, hiking, fishing, even browsing art galleries in nearby Livingston. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and in love with Montana. Reedfly is pure magic!

This place was absolutely stunning. I can not say enough positive things. Robin and Jeff are incredible hosts and their attention to detail is impeccable. When I arrived Robin left fresh eggs from her adorable chickens, homemade jam, fresh bread, yogurt, syrup and wine. The property is gorgeous. In the morning I walked to the lake and was greeted by an adorable otter and then made fresh eggs with herbs from the garden. Being on the Yellowstone River was incredibly cool. I can not wait to come back to visit and highly recommend staying here on your next Paradise Valley trip!! Don’t miss out.

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. The destination alone was the perfect antidote we were seeking, right on the bank of the Yellowstone River with fishing out the back door. It was clear that every detail was thoughtfully chosen, from the decor, to the linens, to the books on the shelf, to the wonderful gift basket that was arranged upon our arrival. Perhaps most thoughtful of all was Robin’s cheerful delivery of a homemade dinner which we enjoyed on the back deck with outstanding views. Thank you!

One of the most beautiful places we have stayed and we travel often! Jeff and Robin take hosting to a step above from the farm-fresh eggs, chocolates and wine upon arrival, to well curated website listing fantastic places to visit and eat. This spectacular property on the banks of the Yellowstone River must be experienced. The north entrance of Yellowstone is just a 30 minute drive. The property is extremely clean and upon return to our home, I have swapped out my hand soap, laundry soap and sheets! Besides the beauty of the surroundings, Jeff and Robin are just exceptional people. They were flexible and understanding to a health situation that I experienced on our trip.

Oh lucky you, future guest of Reedfly Farm!

Book now, as there is certainly nothing with such personality and charm like it in the area,  Thoughtful touches are woven into the experience of your stay:  a curriated book collection focused on the local area, a delicious breakfast basket, luxury linens, delicious coffee, secret carmels, and snuggly blankets.

Area activities abound, but you will be hard pressed to find any more delightful than curling up with a beverage, book and absorbing the river and mountain views mere steps away from your cozy lodging.

Robin and Jeff are natural  hosts:  available when you need them, but unobtrusive when you don't. Both obviously love the land they live in and sharing it with others.

We can't wait to return.

A boutique lodge that made sure their guests were given the upmost privacy and peace. At Reedfly there were only two other rentals who also respected the privacy and quiet. It’s a rare find so close to Yellowstone. Beautiful view.

Where to even begin?! Before we stepped foot on the property, Jeff and Robin had helped us plan our itinerary and driving directions from Jackson, WY up through the park for the days prior to our arrival at ReedFly. And then, from the moment we stepped foot on the property it was a dream. Robin went over the top with a beautiful welcome basket and homemade dinner for us the first night (including a salad with herbs and flowers from her garden!) so we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. The left us eggs from their chickens and butter and brought our daughters some special sodas and ice cream and just went above and beyond. The linens and the beds were so comfortable that I searched for tags so I could recreate it at home! If you are a nature nut, this place is a honey hole of interesting things from birds to exotic flowers sprinkled throughout different areas of the property. There are also two very sweet puppies on the property (Shiloh and Huckleberry) that kept us company while we walked along the river or sat on the back lawn. Before the plane landed back home we were already online trying to figure out when we could go back!!! Thank you to Robin, Jeff, Huckleberry, and Shiloh for making our family vacation so sweet. We can't wait to come back and visit!

A gorgeous and enchanting week at Reedfly Farm. Robin was the most gracious host, and every detail was thoughtfully pulled together. We loved sitting in the chairs overlooking the river at sunset, watching the mountains turn pink and orange as our fishermen caught rainbows below us. We were so impressed with the aesthetic of the interiors, and the beauty of the space. We will definitely be back!
