My wife and I stayed overnight during our 12 day National Park Motorcycle vacation and found Circle R as a last minute hotel when our predetermined reservation at another location did not work out. The Circle R is a very nice place!! The rooms were clean and the owners were very nice! While we were there they were upgrading their WiFi and TV providers so the service was a bit wonky, but understandable. We really did not mind since we were really exhausted and just needed to sleep! There’s a nice general store next door so you can purchase some drinks and snacks, but any real meals requires a bit of a ride into East Glacier. Should we return we would definitely stay at the Circle R again.
We stayed at the hotel for two nights for work couldn’t of asked for a nicer location looks like rooms were remodel very nice facilities, bed was very comfortable I would highly recommend this location to anyone going through East glacier
Budget and rustic, but price and location perfect. We could walk to everything. Great store across street, restaurants all around, could walk to Amtrak. Perfect location and $$$ less than Glacier Park Lodge.
We wanted a room on the E. side of Glacier NP in preparattion for taking going to sun road the next day to the W. side of the park. The beds were satisfactory and the roominess was welcome. Wifi wasn't working night we were there. The room is a bit pricy for the level of accomodations because of its location. Our service was good and the manager filled our small ice chest for us before we left. Would stay there again for the convenience and relative price.
Short and sweet: stayed here due to price, but, if going again, would stay on the west side of GNP. Cons: tried to charge more than the stated reservation price. Had to show price which was e mailed to me , about $45 difference. Remember to keep any agreed pricing handy! There is no "good side of town" except for the East Glacier Lodge ($$$$$$ )which is on the west side of the RR tracks. The town is VERY run down, poor , shabby collection of trailer houses with junk cars etc. everywhere. Asked about cabins and William said one was available and would be no extra charge. We agreed. When driving to the cabins , on a dead end road, I had second thoughts about being remote from closer dwellings. Slept with one eye open the first two nights! Cabins were spacious and adequate. Nothing fancy! We decided to stay one less night than what we had reserved. Asked William about a refund. His first response was" must be five days notice," but he would see what he could do. With less than 24 hrs. notice he refunded the full price, not including taxes!!! Hurray for William!! East Glacier Park is about a one hour drive from St. Mary so that is a consideration also. Again...if there is a next time, we will stay on the west side of GNP.…
