Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have been at this Hotel since November 6, 2023. The hospitality of this hotel is wonderful. Thanks to the people who work at the front desk Simone, Wesley, Alyvia and the cleaning staff. This group of people is who run the show and keep things alive. Thanks to all of you for showing me a great time here at the Comfort Inn. Special thanks Breakfast crew.

Hotel's Favourite
Our room was perfect, 3 beds and 2 bathrooms. Towels are thick and fluffy. Very clean. The complimentary breakfast was hot and good. Only complaint I have is the 9am breakfast cut-off. Should be later for late risers. We brought food up to the family members still sleeping. Overall a great Comfort Inn. The Choice brand is always my first choice when traveling.

The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. Breakfast was great...eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, waffles...very nice spread. They even had a seasonal choice of original or pumpkin spice waffle batter.

Room Tip: There is a WalMart right behind the hotel so if you forget anything it's very convenient.

I should have known that Comfort Inn would live up to its reputation. I wasn't expecting much, and as expected the room was dirty (sunflower seeds in several corners of the room, stained bed sheets), had a broken lock in the bathroom, had a tub that drained poorly, and had a ceaseless dripping sound behind the wall. However, I was expecting that I would have internet. Despite spending two hours on the phone with their third party help desk, a trip to the front desk confirmed that they are having internet issues. I never did have internet during my stay, which created problems for my work. Upon checkout, I spoke with the manager (Andrew Ash) who denied the internet issues. Upon hearing this, another guest in the lobby yelled, "He's lying, I am also having internet issues." Then Andrew said, "If I had to offer money back to everyone who had internet issues, I wouldn't have a business." So, not only was the hotel room disgusting and a basic system like the internet not working, the hotel management was willing to only offer 2x points for the stay. A quick search will reveal several other motels at comparable price in the area--I recommend you stay at any of them.

The room was large and very nice with microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast and the breakfast room were very good. I used the fitness center which was also quite good. There is a Walmart adjacent to the hotel parking lot which is convenient for picking up things a traveler might need. My only minor complaint (and this is about hotels in general and not particularly about this Comfort Inn) is that halfway through our stay the wifi stopped working and when I tried to log back in, it kept saying the password was invalid. So I went up to the front desk and the lady said they had changed it and gave me the new password. This seemed like an unnecessary annoyance. The last two hotels we stayed at on this trip didn’t have wifi passwords. I find it hard to believe that many people are trying to hack into hotel wifi systems.

I wish I could give negative stars! The customer service at check-in was the WORST I've ever experienced! I made my reservation through the Choice Hotels reservation line; I requested and pre-paid for a large king suite with my ASA dog (was told there would be no pet fee). Upon checking in, I was told that my ASA card would not be honored (I've used it at over 50 hotels/resorts nation wide with no problem) and because I have my dog I would be assigned a smaller room. I asked if I was going to get a refund for the higher rate I paid and was told probably not and if I did not like it I could take my business to another hotel. The person told me he was the owner of the hotel and could refuse renting us a room if I had a problem with how he was dealing with the situation. At this point, if we did have other options, we would have left. Our room had stained carpets, was in desperate need of updating/repairs, and the halls smelled so bad. Our refrigerated barely kept things cold, which was a problem since I have medication that requires being chilled. The Wi-Fi worked sporadically and the password provided was changed without notice to guests. The next morning, my husband witnessed an argument with the same front desk person and a guest checking out. The guest was complaining about the Wi-Fi and became extremely agitated when he was told he should have taken his business elsewhere. Choice Hotels should be embarrassed to have this hotel/owner as part of their offerings. I have NEVER seen someone be so rude and on top of that tell people to go somewhere else if they don't like it. Go down the street and stay at the much nicer Comfort Suites for the same price and better service. This place is a dump

Let's start with the hotel. Nice lobby. Terrible area. Anywhere but lobby is shabby and dated. Internet is awful (i used my cell signal the whole time). The property is non-smoking and reeked of weed 24/7. I have no issue with pot but I don't need to smell it. We were traveling with a service dog that has legal papers. We called and they said there was no charge. We arrived snd since it was an emotional support dog, they said that didn't count. This probably called for a compromise but we paid the fee. We were then down-graded from a suite to a regular room but were charged the Suite price. When we complained, they told us we could always leave. It's a weekend a month after classes started at MSU and rooms are hard to come by. So we stayed. The manager was a total jerk about everything. Sitting in the lobby I watched him field regular complaints by customers. None of whom he helped. Two wanted their money back because of their stay. I'm a Marriott guy. Never again with this awful hotel chain

The hotel is dated, but was an excellent stay for our group of 4. The room was huge. There was a den area in the room. There were also several sitting areas in the hallways for those who are early risers and want to read or drink coffee without waking others in the room. Best of all the hotel and room was exceptionally clean. Beds were very cozy and pillows smelled fresh and were soft and comfortable. The hotel over all was a wonderful place to stay.

It was a very nice clean and conveniently located hotel and I would stay there again in a heartbeat when needing to stay in Bozeman. There was coffee available, good breakfast. The lady working this morning and doing the breakfast and front desk was really nice.

Everything was great! Ice cold lemon water and coffee in the lobby at all times. Hotel was quiet. Sheets were great. Room was clean, large and comfortable. The check in clerk was very nice and accommodating. Entire staff was very friendly. They even delayed closing down the free breakfast so I could grab some toast. I will definitely be staying there next time I"m in Bozeman.
