Detailed Reviews
Hotels in Bozeman are pricey and we decided to book Days Inn & Suites based on the more reasonable price and location. We were a bit concerned based on some recent reviews, but everything was wonderful! The room, while a bit small, was clean (including the bathroom) and the beds (and bedding) were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good (no eggs or bacon, but had everything else) and the fresh baked cookies in the afternoon and evening were great and much appreciated! Wifi wasn't great, but being in the mountains, we weren't surprised. We only stayed 1 night, but would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We travel a lot for sports and my family LOVED our stay here. Heck, I travel a lot myself and I loved my stay here. This was one of our favorite hotels to-date. It is obvious the Days Inn has put a lot of work into updating and remodeling this location. The staff (Marcia) was fabulous and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. Our room (suite) was modern, beautiful, CLEAN and comfortable. Fluffy pillows, lovely mattresses. The lobby was cute with western artwork. The location was good and we felt very safe. The breakfast area included multiple options and even included things like protein bars, which the soccer crew adored. We will definitely be staying here next time we’re in Bozeman.

Over the past two weeks, my wife and I stayed in six different hotels, and the Bozeman Days Inn offered the best customer service. Upon check-in, the desk clerk had already upgraded our room to a king-bed suite. She explained the available services, breakfast hours, pool hours, etc. Very warm welcome and openly gracious toward our potential needs.
The room was wonderful, larger than expected. The separate bedroom was nice, and the entire room was quiet with respect to other guests, other rooms, etc. The hallways were newly remodeled, with brand new carpeting and room doors. It was clearly apparent that the hotel is investing back into itself. It has been a long time since my wife and I witnessed this sort of improvements on a property.
Although we were aware that the breakfast was "light" ... it was the only service on-site that could use some improvement. Limited options. In today's world with multiple options, I would hope this could be improved in the future.
With a daughter in college in Washington, the travel from South Dakota to the west coast requires a place to stay ... and this Days Inn secured our business on the next road trip in May.

Thank you EagleScout !! We certainly appreciate you taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We are very proud of our recently remodeled Suites and the entire west end renovations. We are still trying to find that perfect breakfast cook so that we can offer a "Hot, Cooked-toOrder breakfast" that we have become famous for. Fingers Crossed !!! We arrived excited for our vacation but found our room leaving us wanting. There was urine on the toilet, black feet marks in the shower and stains on the sheets. There were also pieces of garbage left on the floor. It was apparent this room had not been cleaned, they just made the bed to make it look clean. I got fresh sheets and used them as there was no other hotel available to go to. I bought Clorox wipes and disinfectant spray and cleaned the room before we could use it. We bought blankets at the local WalMart because at this point, I did not trust the ones in our room. Walking down the hall toward the office, a mouse ran from one room into another. When I told the clerk about the mouse, he just chuckled and said it was probably just looking for somewhere warm to stay. I can't tell you how the breakfast was because we refused to eat there. Every time we left the building, our keys deactivated, so we would have to go to the front desk to reactivate our keys every time we tried to get back in our room. If there is another place to stay in Bozeman, I would highly recommend you check it out. If you're looking for a place with a pool, this will not be it. They have a pool, but there was algae floating on the top and the pool was closed. I just hope I'm saving another family from the torture we went through staying at the Days inn in Bozeman.

Location was easy to get to (just off the interstate), and we appreciated the free shuttle from the airport. But the motel itself was not anywhere we'd stay again. It was tucked away behind a gas station and next to a Best Western Plus. Our room faced a relatively busy road. We paid just over $300 for one night (using a corporate discount) which is atrocious for a Day's Inn. At that rate, you can get a very nice (even oceanfront) hotel room in Florida where we are from. But everywhere else was going to cost around $500 for the night so apparently Bozeman is just an expensive place to stay. That said, if I ever had to stay in Bozeman again, I'd pay more for a better room.
This was supposed to be a renovated property but the room we stayed in smelled very musty and the floors were dirty. We did not take off our socks. It appeared that the room may have previously been a smoking room and they attempted to paint over the ceiling and walls to mask the smell. The a/c was not on when we arrived and the room was warm so we had to play around with the controls to make it stay on. We found a hair in the bathroom and gunk on the wall around the sink. Our kids did not want to shower in the bathroom, though the tub itself was clean. The sheets were clean but the pillows were too soft and flattened almost immediately when we laid down. Our reservation clearly indicated we had 5 people but when we checked in, we had two double beds so only enough room for 4. We had to pay another $10 for a rollaway for our son. I know a rollaway charge is standard, but having to pay that on top of the outrageous room charge did not earn them any points. Free continental breakfast was decent. They had bananas, apples, and oranges, make-your-own waffles, muffins, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and cereal. They also had juice, milk, water, and coffee. They supposedly had a hot breakfast bar but it was closed when we stayed - there was a sign apologizing but no explanation why.
I expected more for $300 a night, but unfortunately, this property did not live up to our expectations, and we would not recommend it.

We had reservations through Priceline we arrived went to the room and first thing when we walked in I actually gagged the horrific smell from musty and dirty and old smelly and ancient box air conditioner.
My husband went down to desk.to tell the Manager she goes to another room. And says this one is better. Again filthy dirty toilets in all 3 rooms.
We took the 3rd room just because of exhaustion and it was newer but still had a dirty toilet. Now to me that is by far the worst kind of laziness and lack of cleanliness there is. We have been trying to get our money refunded to no avail through Priceline
Which has been a real nightmare itself.

Very dirty, room & bathroom not sanitized upon check in. Rude staff, including maid. Property in dire need of renovating. Whole property seems "sketch", was not a comfortable one night stay. I understand during Labor Day weekend this near-Yellowstone area is overcrowded, but for $300+/night, at least the room should be spotless and staff guest-centric.

The room advertised as standard for 2 people had a double bed with barely enough room to turn around without running into something, about the size of a large closet. The bathroom wall showed dirt from shoes, bathtub backed up and not well cleaned, and the toilet seat was broken. The air conditioning unit was noisy. Breakfast was adequate, but simple. On a positive note, the front desk staff were excellent, friendly. They had the bathroom cleaned, unplugged the tub drain, and repaired the toilet seat over the course of two days.

My wife and I were on a two-week vacation in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. We stayed at this hotel for one night. We got all our bags in the room and my wife went to use the restroom and there were two lights in the bathroom one was burnt out and the other one was flickering. There was a dirty leftover towel behind the door, not that big a deal. The toilet paper roll was on the tub because there wasn't a toilet paper roll holder. Maintenance came up and fixed those items, then we went to watch TV and there was no signal so the manager came to fix that. As we are watching TV my wife noticed the black mold on the wall and ceiling and that was a deal-breaker so I went to front desk,( the night manager was very helpful and pleasantl, she moved us to a king suite. My wife went to wash her face before bed and the faucet was flopping around it wasn't even tightened down and the sink was clogged so you couldn't run the water very long. Out of our two weeks vacation staying in several different hotels, not once did we have to contact the front desk or have any major issues until we got to this hotel. Maintenance is lacking, definitely not enough communication between the hotel maids and the maintenance crew or the managers. Very disappointed I emailed the hotel and have not heard back.

The big plus point is the free airport shuttle that you have to book 24 hours in advance. Saves you at least 60 dollars on a round trip to and from the airport. The hotel is clean, well situated and has excellent staff. The front person was very helpful and informative about the area. Breakfast is free. The rooms were clean and sheets smelled recently laundered. There is a gas station, a nice American and Mexican restaurant across the street of the hotel. The hotel is located in an area of hotels. Airport is about a 15 minute drive depending on how you drive. Downtown is about a mile walk. It was pretty safe to walk. I used this hotel as a launch pad to visit Yellowstone on a day trip. It is about a 2 hour drive away and I could see the main tourist spots of Yellowstone in one day. If you take the route through Big Sky, it is a pretty scenic drive and you stop for breakfast in Big Sky. All in all it was convenient for me to stay at this hotel to visit Yellowstone.
