The Hotel is just like the pictures. Right on Main Street- close to shops and places to eat. The Lark is a few blocks away from a grocery store (walkable). It took us less than 20 minutes to get there from the airport. The staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. There is a text feature where I could communicate with staff before and during my stay which was extremely helpful and unique. This hotel would have held our bags if we arrived early which was nice. There was fresh popcorn and coffee 24/7 and a small place to eat at the location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We opted to park ourselves verses pay the valet parking (the car gets parked at the same garage and it's cheaper if you park). The parking garage was less than a 5 minute walk. The only reason the hotel wasn't excellent was: 1) valet parking charge 2) barn door for bathroom doesn't provide much privacy.

My wife and I stayed at The Lark Bozeman for one night, before our flight home. We had a great stay. The property and guest rooms are funky (in a good way). There is lots of horizontal space in the rooms to work on or to place things while you are staying there, which we really appreciated. There were also lots of power outlets in convenient places to charge devices, which was very helpful. While we did hear some footsteps from the room above, this hotel is pretty quiet and we had no problems getting a good night's rest. We parked in a parking deck on Black St (a 2 block walk), which cost $5 overnight (vs $25 for valet parking at the hotel). This also saved us from having to scrape ice off of our windshield in the morning. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. We had a great stay and I would reserve a hotel room here again.

This hotel is “Tried and True” with amazing downtown location. The Black Friday sale inspired me to cancel VRBO for location and service. It’s a simple retro renovated hotel that works perfect for us.

First the positive aspects: the hotel is conveniently located for downtown business, and there are a number of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower excellent. Housekeeping kept the room spotless throughout my stay. There is a patio for relaxing and socializing. Though I experienced sticker shock at the rates, they were consistent with other accommodations in the area. But several things were disappointing or frustrating. The hotel seemingly lacks any soundproofing, and I could see daylight all around the door frame. Noise from other rooms and street traffic woke me up repeatedly during the night. There was no coffee maker, luggage rack, dresser for storage, mini-fridge, grab bars in the shower, or ironing board in the room (though coffee was available in the lobby). One molded plastic chair is not sufficient for two guests in a room. The lighting is both harsh and inadequate. One wooden box served as the bedtable for both beds, and the wooden bathroom counters looked battered. It was about what I'd expect at a Motel 6 next to the interstate, but not a downtown hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Retainer within case was folded up into the bedsheets when we checked in. Location is perfect for walkability of Bozeman's Main Street and off site parking is within a reasonable distance.

The rooms are unique and comfortable, but essentially forcing guests to pay for valet parking at $25/night seems like a money grab. They have a full private parking lot that is restricted to loading and unloading. Not only that, it is not disclosed during the booking process, so any rate you get is actually $25 more a night.

Loved the vibes at this place! Excellent experience with great service and staff went above and beyond.

We told the front desk we were going on a hike and they offered us some bear spray to take along! They also let us borrow a charging block, brought us a cooler for the room, and even brought the flowers to our room that my husband had sent over:)) So sweet!

A couple great additions to the rooms to consider would be a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, drawer space for clothes, and a small shelf in the shower to put your razor:)

Also, do not recommend using their recommended Go Rentals for a rental vehicle. Our experience with them was discouraging.

Overall, my favorite aspect was the LOCATION. Prime location if you want to hit the town after hours and enjoy the nightlife without having to Uber/etc.

Thanks for a great stay!

So, for $400 a night lets add it up. No closets. Zero. No drawers. Zero. Bare floors. One bedside table, no place for your cell on the other side. No in-room coffee maker. Bathroom door doesn't close so forget modesty (we even moved rooms to no avail; Its not even a door its a sliding thing that doesn't close). Choice: Hang everything out in the open on hooks on the walls of your room or toss your clothes on some open shelves (or on the floor like a college kid coming home I suppose but floors were dirty so keep your clothes in your suitcase). No making up the bed. (Literally; the sign in your room says a dirty room keeps Bozeman beautiful but that strikes me as hiding "cheap" behind someone's skirt.) No morning breads. Cold, uninviting "lobby" with cold floors. Great location if you don't mind urban noise. $400 a night. Killed the excitement of seeing Bozeman.

Travelers, particularly females, should know that this hotel, really a nicely remodeled motel, has no room telephone, not even a single line to the front desk. In an emergency, a suspected intruder perhaps, other than one’s personal cellphone, there is no way to report a problem without opening the room ‘s door. Additionally, a first in my travels out of China, there is no way to make coffee in the room. Nice cookies and coffee are available at the front desk you cannot contact. People are very nice, but seem unaware that their price competition offers more complete services. The area swarms with cute shops, bars, and a variety of places to eat.

This was our second stay at the LARK. It is a wonderful establishment within easy walking distance to all of Bozeman's downtown restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room provides everything you could possible need (incuding a small refrigerator), and we stayed very warm despite being there during Montana's extreme cold spell. Also worth mentioning is that the room was spotlessly clean! I would highly recommend the LARK for any stay in Bozeman!
