We were thrilled with our stay at the Sapphire Motel. We had a room looking onto the grass area so had an evening takeaway and breakfast outside as a nice outside table and chairs were provided. The owners know how to add small touches to make a big differnce to your stay. Glam ice bucket and glasses, plenty of charging points, areas for luggage. We were very impressed.

Everything is thoughtfully done here! Beautiful old roadside motel with modern amenities. We stayed in a 2 queen bed with patio room, which was great for our family of four with two kids. The kids loved the swing set right outside the room, and space for whiffle ball, and I loved being able to back the car right up to the room to unload our bags, and having a laundry facility on site. The room is so cool and chic. My husband said it was the coolest hotel he's ever stayed in. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer than one night!

An older Motor Court Motel completely refurbished to the top standards. Staffed with very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful people that go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met! The rooms are large, immaculate, and redone in the style of the era with small tile floors in the bathroom along with new period basin and toilets. Very impressive! The parking is assigned directly in front of your room eliminating any need to carry items up stairs or down long hallways or making long trips when you inevitably forget that one essential item.

From the rude evening staff to the lack of soap to the clogged shower to the loud music to the mediocre location to the TV that had to be unplugged and reset every time it was turned on (that was the solution given to us by the manager) to the torn weatherstripping on our door (which the manager just ripped off and no one fixed, letting a lot of light and bugs pour in) this was by far the worst stay we had on a recent two-week road trip. The beds were stiff, the pillows were flat, and the chairs were uncomfortable. It would be almost tolerable if it would have been motel pricing, but it was an astonishing $300+ a night. We chose it over well-reviewed chains nearby because of the character and local flavor. We should have stayed at the chain hotels. This place is a true “lipstick on a pig” situation. Cute and tastefully retro, but the bones are no good at all.

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to leave us a review Zak. Feedback is very important to us as we do take action to resolve situations whenever possible and to make improvements. We are disheartened to hear that your impression of the service we offered was less than satisfactory. I have made several attempts to contact you in order to get a better understanding of exactly what occurred during your stay with us but, unfortunately, I have been unable to reach you. I was able to review our security cameras in the reception area and found that my Front Desk Agent was very pleasant and respectful, as were you, during your check-in. I also spoke with my Maintenance and Housekeeping managers and they had understood that your preference was to be left undisturbed when the team indicated they would return with new weatherstripping for your door. In no way am I discounting your frustrations and I would appreciate the opportunity to get a better understanding of what occurred and so that I may do my best to rectify the situation. We are a small family-owned business and we take great pride in our motel and our service. I have left my direct number on your voicemail and would like to hear from you if you're available and/or inclined to speak with me.

Located in downtown Bozeman this retro looking motel with individual units each having their own private entrance to the parking lot has been thoroughly renovated but maintains its 1950s character. Our room was spacious with ample closet space and plenty of drawers and table space. The bathroom was large and decked out in the white pink and black so common 70 years ago but all brand new and spotlessly clean. The pedestal sink with exposed pipes and separate hot/cold taps was authentic but I’d have preferred a modern setup with a faucet that mixes the water and more space around the sink basin for toiletries. The tub/shower had good water pressure. A magnifying/ shaving mirror would have been appreciated. It’s in a good location with lots of restaurants close by. Reception was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful night’s stay at the Sapphire Motel. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. There is a neat 50s throwback vibe with the decor and furniture. The shower was great with a powerful rain head, floor to ceiling subway tile and frameless glass doors. The front desk staff were warm and helpful. Definitely check out the lobby furniture if you’re a fan of mid century modern. Tasty locally roasted coffee is available in the lobby in the morning. This is the best value for a night in Bozeman. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for a night while on a road trip, and it was, by far, my favorite place we stayed. The decor is charming - a perfect mix of modern and vintage. It'a just a quick walk from downtown, and across the street from some food vendors. There's also a drive thru coffee stand in the parking lot! The amenities are lovely - flat screen television, coffee lounge, a communal laundry room (only accessible with a your room keycard), spacious rooms, a mini fridge, and a microwave! Our housekeeper left us a little welcome note, too. The shower had amazing water pressure, by the way! I loved this place so, so much! I definitely would like to stay here again!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. It is one of the best, well kept and updated motel experiences I have ever seen. The property is very roomy with large parking lot and parking stalls, complete with large central garden/lawn area with small playground and gazebo. The vintage modern theme makes you feel like you are back in the 1950’s/1960’s, but the rooms feel new and bathrooms are modernly updated leaving you feeling like you are staying in a newly constructed hotel.

This is really more than a motel, it is a beauty... We appreciated the attention drawn to each detail. Each furniture has careffully be selected. Every single item has its place. Garden is wide and peaceful, rooms are pretty and warm. Just a pool is missing. Glorious stay here before leaving the USA to return home. Many thanks !

Such a cool motel! The description and pictures are accurate. What a great place to stay at a very reasonable price for the area and the quality of the room/building. Staff was very helpful. If arriving after 11, you need a check in code so if you have a late flight that might get delayed be sure to get the code before you arrive.
