Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was surprised this wasn't higher up in hotel recommendations for Bozeman. It was expensive to stay here but it was very comfortable with really attentive housekeeping. I'll go back. The ammenities were good. The out of doors made for a pretty walk. Just no complaints.

Rooms duly furnished. Helpful receptionist when we had car trouble. Breakfast should cost $2pp according to Booking, an unlikely price, but in reality it was free, and quite reasonable by American standards. I did hear the outside noise of a train and of a plane in the room, but it was certainly not disturbing. The hotel is located outside Bozeman, take the car if you want to go downtown.

excellent motel on the outskirts of Bozeman, valid if you want to enter Yellowstone the next day. large room, with fireplace and hydromassage tub, breakfast included but very simple. Free parking. as usual lately in the USA, room cleaning is not daily.

This hotel is not postal friendly and refused to allow a Mail Carrier who is assisting from another state to use the bathroom at their establishment. We work long hours and volunteered to assist a town who is heavily understaffed to deliver the mail. If a Carrier can not use your bathroom because we are not doing business with you I can imagine how you treat your customers.

Stayed one night end of October. Hotel was clean and comfortable and included breakfast. Free parking and hotel was 4 mins drive to Costco and easy to get to from the airport. We found it to be a fantastic value for what we paid and I would highly recommend

Headed to a concert in town, boyfriends only requirement is to go into a Jacuzzi 24/7. I laughed at the impossible until I found mountainview, so inexpensive I had my doubts. Sure in room jacuzzi, free breakfast, heated indoor pool with additional Jacuzzi for that cheap of price ..it was plus nice cleaned well maintained rooms, more than accommodating staff from check in to Patrick making sure every detail of breakfast was handled even at 9:55 breakfast ends at 10 he made a new batch of waffle mix after so I could have a waffle after I let all the kids go first. Worked with our schedule so we could stay a little linger. Wow we are so impressed can't wait to go there again..our new get away. Thanks again Mountain view. I stayed at 119 hotels last year dollar for dollar an A+++ rating.

We met my daughter in Bozeman to do some wedding planning and originally booked 3 rooms for 6 people for 3 nights. The biggest draw was the free breakfast and the fact that pets are welcome. However, due to Covid, 2 of our party had to drop out. We cancelled one room without problem.

When we got here the front desk informed us there was no breakfast due to Covid. This was understandable, but I would have book a different hotel had we known this in advance. There was coffee and ice water available but we are not coffee drinkers and have our own ice water.

The room was clean and had a nice big desk for working (2 of our party had to continue to work from the hotel). However, while the room itself had coffee, there were no tea bags so again we had nothing to drink for breakfast. The hotel is located on the edge of town and nothing is within walking distance.

However, the staff made a huge difference in our overall experience. They were very friendly and accommodating to every request. They gave us easy directions to a nice supermarket to get breakfast supplies and gave us plastic spoons and forks. While we had to drive to get anywhere, it was a very easy shot and not as far as it looked.

Two of our party had to leave a night early and the hotel quickly and easily refunded the difference without any problems at all. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay due in large part to such a warm and accommodating staff.

We will definitely stay here again!

Arrived super late due to flight delays ( after midnight) . This hotel does not have an elevator and when the person at the front desk saw my husbands walking boot, she immediately moved us to a spacious room on the first floor and offered to help with luggage.

On site parking, breakfast in the morning…. However Covid dictated a grab and go selection.

The room was clean and very comfortable! Great stay! Would definitely stay again!

DON’T STAY HERE—> This hotel is so poorly managed… After booking a hotel for 4 nights through Expedia, the two clueless people at the front desk mixed up our rooms, resulting in our family getting locked out of our hotel room twice. In addition to this, we ended up being charged multiple times for things other than our 4 night stay. Needless to say, it was extremely frustrating trying to dispute the charges with the hotel management, and we ultimately had to go through the credit card company to solve this. Every time we argued about being double-charged, the hotel made different excuses, going from the “it’s only incidentals” line to the “it’s for a no-show fee” (we arrived perfectly on time for our stay). I will DEFINITELY not be staying here again.

The Lodge has undergone continuous renovation/upgrade according to staff and it shows! For example, the bathroom (always an indicator) was clean, new everything and spotless. Beds were comfortable and our suite spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose a suite which had an outer "living room", separate bathroom and sink/counter areas, and a large bedroom with microwave and refrigerator. Everything was what we needed with visiting family (kids loved the pool!)

As others I have said, there are 2 ways into Yellowstone from Bozeman. The one down through Gallatin Canyon into West Yellowstone MT is a little longer I believe. Both that way and the one down through Livingstone MT into Mammoth Hot Springs WY via Gardiner MT are scenic and both would be worth the time. Starting about 8-10 miles north of and into Gardiner I have seen as many elk, deer and mountain goats as I have in the Park itself. There are even a few bison and pronghorn antelope very near Gardiner. In early May, we saw more bison out in the Lamar Valley (east out of Mammoth Hot Springs) than any other place in the Park. Hope you have a really good trip.
