Detailed Reviews
We stayed for 4 nights. When we first arrived, we had a room with 2 queen beds; I was so shocked at the exterior of the building. We thought we would go somwhere else but found out our room was nonrefundable. They had just begun to clean our room (miscommunication). We were tired and cranky, leaving Atlanta, flying into Denver and then Bozeman Airport. My husband had a talk with the owner, and they agreed that if we didn't like it the next day, he would refund our money. He moved us to a room which was already set up. The room was very clean; there was no odor, and the room had been upgraded with very nice furniture. The TV was very limited, but we liked the Rifleman, so it was ok. We ended up staying the 4 nights. It is very close to the airport, which is what got us there in the first place. We were going to Yellowstone, but it was very far...I would not stay there if I were going to Yellowstone again, only because it was so far away and we ended up driving there 3 days...exhausting...We were back the night before we were flying back to GA and it was 15 minutes from the airport. This time had one queen size bed. The room was perfect. Clean, remodeled, new heat/air conditioning unit. Nice Fridge with freezer; microwave, toiletries, great towels, etc. The staff was very nice. They are working on the outside, little by little. It is a very old motel; It actually was the cheapest in the whole area. It's not fancy but it is practical. We only slept there. I would stay there again.

Way, WAY overpriced. Run down, worn-out, lacking maintenance, needs deep cleaning, convenient yet noisy corner location, parking lot has numerous potholes, no breakfast of any kind. Find another place to stay. Very disappointed.

A large clean room with few amenities. Has refrigerator, has microwave, has coffee machine. Bed was very firm I liked it my partner felt it was too firm. The towels were soft. The carpet outside the room was torn up, the shower curtain rod showed signs of rust. Towels were soft, room includes a desk and a dining area with two additional chairs. Closet rack is directly above the microwave rendering it useless for hanging clothes. There is space in the vanity area which might be a better placement of the clothes rack. Window shutters were top end instead of curtains. Heater worked extremely well. Close to Applebee’s and there is a coffee hut in the parking lot. Good value, half the price of the major hotel chain a block away.

I'm a professional service driver for a local trucking company. Apparently it is not allowed to use a company credit card which is provided for rooms fuel etc by my employer because it is in the name of my employing company and is not in my personal name. Hotels motels in the other 4 states I travel have no issues with this just the Bozeman inn they informed me when they called and canceled my reservation.

Response from Bozeman Inn, General Manager at Bozeman Inn
Responded 13 Jun 2024
Hello Gary, All hotels are different and have different policies. However, you are correct in that we do not accept credit cards that are not in the guest's name or in the name of someone who isn't present. We cannot just take a credit card that is not issued to someone specific and who is present with a matching photo ID. We first emailed you about this and then we called you to discuss this further. You were given the option of paying with a card in your name, but you said upon arrival that you would call and get a different card number over the phone with your boss' name on it. This we never do. You were given the option to pay with a different method, but as you did not have a card with your name on it, then your reservation was cancelled with no charge. While we are sorry that you don't understand or agree with this policy, we get thousands and thousands of guests per year and there is no way for us to know all of them/to know who works for who. It is because of this that this policy is in place. Have a wonderful week.

I would not recommend. The staff accused the guests of smoking pot in the room. the guests do not smoke anything, nor did they have anyone with them who does. They were threatened about future trouble. The GM was very rude when addressed about the accusations. I understand that this is a college town and believe the guests were profiled because of their age. To the hotels credit they allowed the guests to check out with a full refund rather than having to stay in a threatening place. Trouble not worth the cheaper price of the room

Based on location, reviews, and rate, I booked the Bozeman Inn for a night. The inn is a 5-minute drive from Historic Main Street and easily accessible from Highway 90. It provided what we needed: a comfy bed, fridge, and great shower. However, I would have liked more pillows for the king-size bed. Check-in was smooth thanks to Alyssa, the front desk agent.

Awful, hair on floor, in tub, used cup and dirty. Charge $300 for a $50-$80 room because, “it’s move in weekend at MSU.” Should of camped in truck. A rip off. No wonder it’s for sale the owner is a greedy opportunist and needs to put $ for service.

The rooms are lower priced so you get what you pay for. The fridge had old packaged burritos and gator aid in it and the microwave looked like they exploded a burrito and hasn't been cleaned for awhile. mentioned it to the manager and they said they would mention it to their cleaning staff. probably wouldn't stay there again.

Clean, good wifi. Unbelievably thin walls and a heating/cooling unit that sounds like a 747. How thin were the walls? I could not only hear the people in the next room talking in their phone, I could hear the person they were speaking too. Oh. And trains. What more could you ask for.
But - the room was clean, the wifi was good, and there was in-room coffee - a rarity in these times.

Worst "hotel" experience of my life. If you want a place with rude staff, uncomfortable rooms, and are overcharged then this is the place for you! Will never return and never recommend someone stays here.. you're better off staying in your car!

Not sure, as I always request non-smoking rooms. Best bet would be to contact then directly. Sorry I can't be of more help.
The Bozeman Inn does not have a shuttle service.
