What a special place. The wolves are spectacular as is the surrounding countryside. Charlene could not have been more gracious. I was lucky enough to arrive the day before Raven and Shilo were released into the main enclosure so I had the absolute pleasure and delight of interacting with them in the small pen. Rascals they are!! Raven is a cuddler, such as wolves can be and Shilo is definitely all Alpha. Well worth every second spent and I hope to return!

Beautiful B & B - breakfasts were amazing, the room we stayed in was gorgeous, the view from the window was wonderful and the wolves were interesting-to watch. There are only 3 rooms so you have a homey feel but it was built as a B & B so it’s well laid out with nice common areas and even a projector screen TV.

Bring good slippers since you remove your shoes at the door and the hot tub is only available during ski season.

We highly recommend it.

Visited with my Fiancé and her parents. We stayed in the guest house and it was very roomy we cooked our own food. It felt like we are in a private cabin. There’s a full gym any amenity that you need. There’s beverages a gift shop and the breakfast is great. And of course the wolves!!!!! They were amazing we got to get very close to them. The owner actually let me feed them some raw frozen elk it was so awesome. I highly suggest going here to anyone. If you stay in the guest house you can bring your own food we even put a frozen pizza in the oven. It is a very full kitchen. I highly recommend to anybody.

This place is gorgeous! Howlers Inn is a quaint B&B tucked away between the Bridger Mountain range. It's location is honestly perfect being 20 minutes from downtown Bozeman, an hour away from the North entrance of Yellowstone and in just the right amount of space and quiet for anyone! I took my boyfriend here for his 33rd birthday as a surprise and he loved waking up in the morning to not only the beautiful wolves, Tahoe, Shasta and Koa but also a delicious home-cooked breakfast which was provided every morning during our stay!

As mentioned, it's close to Bozeman which offers many different and fun activities including hot springs, breweries and delicious restaurants. For his birthday dinner, we booked a reservation at Blacksmith Italian which was absolutely to die for! It was a small family-owned restaurant: owner is father and chef is son. Delizioso!

The B&B also was equipped will wonderful amenities if you want to stay inside for your stay. They have a fully finished downstairs area with a pool table (which we played every night), movie theatre (with a huge stash of movies) and a sauna! They also have a hot tub but was not in operation during the time of year we went.

Thank you to Charlene who was a wonderful hostess throughout our entire stay and even allowed us to feed the wolves one day, which was a treat! Koa is great meat at catching in mid-air! Also thank you to Nathaniel and Aurelie to we met during our last morning and cooked us a delicious breakfast!

It is a very charming B&B that is nestled in the mountains between Bozeman and Livingston. With a short 5 min ride to the interstate its location to visit both cities was perfect. The inn itself is a beautiful house. Our room the southwest room overlooked the wolf enclosure which was obviously a major draw to the inn. The breakfast was top notch, me and the wife only stayed for two nights but it was wonderful experience that i would most definitely make again. Lastly the inn keepers Aurelie and her husband Nathaniel were very accommodating.

My husband and I just stayed here for two nights while visiting Montana. Everything about this B&B is special. The location with views down a beautiful valley to the mountains, the lodge itself, spacious and authentic with every amenity from a whirlpool to a sauna, the tastefully furnished bedroom and the delicious breakfasts thoughtfully presented, the dining area or outside eating veranda overlooking the wolf enclosures...and of course the wonderful hosts Nate and Aurelie who were so interesting to talk with! We chose a room overlooking the wolf enclosures and my husband got up at dawn each day to photograph them greeting each other with howls and to watch the two juveniles and the two adults greet each other and play. The wolves make this a particularly special experience and I highly recommend this B&B if you're visiting the area which is only a 15 minute drive into Bozeman on beautiful back roads or by freeway if you prefer. Great hikes nearby too.

My husband and I decided to enjoy our 20th wedding anniversary exploring Montana and Yellowstone. We stayed for 5 memorable days at the Inn. The breakfasts were beautifully arranged and delicious; always had fresh fruit and protein. We stayed in the Southwest Room for the views of the wolves. It was a special treat to hear and see them out our window. The owners; Charlene, Thomas, Nate & Aurelie are very personable, they make you feel at home.

Hosts were SUPER nice! We showed up way too early due to weather, and they were very understanding, just the right mix of friendly and willing to give us our privacy.

The wolves were amazing and our interaction with them was a rare experience. They are literally a few feet away when you stand at their fence, and we could see and hear them from our room and the rec room.

Breakfast was also amazing. I can't recommend this Inn more!

Staying at the Howlers Inn was an excellent way to begin our Yellowstone Park vacation. It’s located in a beautiful remote valley. There are plenty of public areas in order to sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery.
The huge log cabin lodge is wonderful. It fits the area well, and in style. We enjoyed listening to the “howling” wolves through our open window directly over the wolves habitat (the howling didn’t last too long!). I know our grandchildren would have loved being with us.
The Innkeepers provide many amenities in order to make their guests feel welcome. They are very accommodating, even providing us an early “carry-out” breakfast so that we could be fueled up to go fly fishing. The second morning we stayed around for the wonderful hot breakfast prior to our departure to the park. It compares favorably to the better B&B’s we’ve visited over the years.
We will certainly try to rebook during our next visit to the Bozeman area.

The first comment from all of my western NY wildlife watchers was "this is top shelf." Our environmental non-for-profit organization takes tours to Yellowstone in December to see the park in all its winter glory. Since we fly into and out of Bozeman, our last stay is at Howler's. With that said, this year's group had never stayed there so it was a first time experience for them all. Upon driving up the access drive, I could hear the comments coming from our guests: "Wow, this is beautiful!" "Unbelievable!" "Unparalleled scenery." Once we checked in, we were given a tour to choose our rooms. They were beautifully furnished and complete with amenities such as wifi, charging ports, and ample lighting and fixtures. The rooms (we stayed in the entire house) were exceptionally clean and tastefully furnished. Regardless of which room you stayed in, you were treated to a Montana "Big Sky" view. Thomas and Charlene are consummate hosts and their meticulous care for the house as well as the grounds was evident. We watched as the wolves were fed and thrilled in their frequent howling. The house's lowest level was perfect for our group gatherings-a pool table and exercise machines rounded off the comfort and livability of the area. This is not the first time we have stayed at Howler's and it will not be the last. They receive my highest recommendation. Joseph C. Allen, Earth Spirit Excursions, Orchard Park, NY
