Residence Inn Bozeman Downtown garners praise for its prime location, mere steps away from downtown attractions and scenic spots. Guests have lauded its welcoming atmosphere, accentuated by spacious and impeccably clean rooms boasting modern amenities. The attentive service, highlighted by friendly staff and diverse breakfast choices, adds to the hotel's charm.
While some travelers mention steep parking fees, many appreciate the alternative parking options available. However, there has been an isolated report of bed bugs that potential visitors should be aware of.

Detailed Reviews
We take a road trip to visit family every few years in Montana and have stayed at dozens of hotels from various chains but the Marriot's are always a little extra clean and the accommodations are usually a little better quality. Our stay at the Bozeman Residence Inn was unplanned as we were headed into Yellowstone on our way home and the first snow of the year hit and they closed the roads in Yellowstone. We turned back and decided to stay in Bozeman.
The hotel was, admittedly, a little higher cost than average but we were in a bind. The location is super and gives you access to the Main Street area of Bozeman which is a modern day Main Street USA with shops and restaurants occupying the historical buildings.
The front desk clerk (I can't remember his name...sorry) was helpful with a couple of dinner restaurant recommendations for my wife and I. We decided on Plonk which as he put it was a little bougie but still casual.
The room, a suite, was more than ample for our 1 night stay but would be quite comfortable for an extended stay as well. Kitchen with stocked utensils, dishware, etc. a nice couch area, dining seating and work space.
If we ever have reason to stay in Bozeman again I would definitely book another room here.

We had a very nice and comfortable stay in Bozeman with a view of the mountains, a clean pool and nice hot tub. Very nice breakfast (one suggestion to make it even better would be to extend eating hours for people on vacation who like to sleep in).
The bar looked nice, but we didn't have any drinks/food there, so can't comment on that.
The staff and all the guests we met were all very kind.
It is unfortunate that they charge $15/day on top of already being one of the most expensive hotels in town! But still worth staying there, if definitely consider staying here next time we come to visit!

Hello BrendaALaV, Thank you so much for deciding to stay with us at our brand new property and for taking the time out of your day to leave us this great review! We're glad to hear your stay with us went well, and hopefully we'll see you again the next time you're in town. Providing a top-notch guest experience is our first priority and we're happy to hear we met your expectations. Thank you for your suggestions regarding our breakfast hours, we will look into making all the improvements we can to make our guest experience as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately due to our Main Street location, where most other hotels do not have on-site parking, we do have this fee for our limited space for the parking lot. If you're ever in town again and wish to stay with us, or have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Once again, thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to give us this great review! Yours in hospitality, Ryan Colesworthy Assistant General Manager rcolesworthy@innventures.com

Hands down the best Residence Inn we have ever stayed in. Everything was on point from the minute we arrived. Friendly staff, clean room & the lobby was beautiful. We hung out by the fireplace with cocktails from the bar and it was so relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of hot & cold choices. We used the hot tub a couple times & it was great. We usually don’t like one indoor but with the huge winds(& the wind in Bozeman), we loved it. We were also happy to pay the $20 parking fee because they have a garage & we didn’t have to clean off the car in the morning- huge plus because it was freezing. We loved our stay here & will be back next time we are in Bozeman. Great job staff & management!!

Dear Mae g, We're so glad to hear our vision of being the "best in the best" in hospitality was right on point with the experience you had. With some of the extra cold and windy weather around here lately, I'm glad to hear our large indoor hot tub with its spectacular Bridger views was a great benefit for you. Overall our team was happy to take good care of you while you visited Bozeman. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay and we look forward to seeing you again next time! Our Best, Erica

I have a lot of hotel stays in my history. The property matters (this one has a good layout and everything I needed). The room with 2 Queens (or doubles) with the kitchen, living room, etc. was good for our stay. Location? Excellent.
But, the distinguishing factor was how helpful and kindly so the staff was. My ONLY issue is that bottled water should be complimentary and not just 2 bottles daily. How about raise the room rate by $5 or $10 per night and guests will never notice and be thrilled with complimentary water. Oh, I must add, breakfast hours are too limited and the offerings are not as complete as other properties.

Overall frustrating. The positives - The location is excellent with easy walking to downtown restaurants and shops. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choices. The Greek yogurt and toppings are excellent.
Staff handling of difficulties caused needless frustration. No mention of the $20/day parking charge in the reservation process and it seems excessively high for the area. Had repeated difficulties with key cards- each time a key was rekeyed the others would fail. At check-in we were not told about the room cleaning policy but apparently were marked as requesting no maid service. By day two I had to start chasing maids to ask for toilet paper and clean towels. I asked them what the cleaning schedule was for our room and was told it was random. A few days later I called the front desk to request clean towels and toilet paper. This is when I found out we were marked as not wanting maid service. The woman repeated back the items requested but they never came.
The TV turned on with extremely loud bing and voiced 'HDMI' even though the volume came on set to zero. At random intervals the tv would turn on and off on it's own startling you awake. The coffee maker and toilet handle broke during our stay but were replaced/repaired.
Our stay was supposed to be tax free, something the front desk staff had great difficulty doing. After showing our tax exempt credit card to 4 different front desk staff we were told it was being taken care of only to find on return that it wasn't but the fifth staff member could actually do it but also needed to see the card. I asked to speak to the manager twice but they were unable to come out of the office. Needless frustrations that could be improved by better trained staff.

My husband and I travel to BZN alot and let me clear stuff up. $15 parking, it's the only one downtown with a lot to park in yourself(you can do the armory for much more a day and you don't even get access to your car.) The staff was super amazing. We stayed for a few days and Victoria and Ryan were the best front staff ever! Ryan gave us many tips on where to go and Victoria smiled everytime we saw her and she even remembered our names from the last time we stayed(only 1 night) seriously just talk to either one of them, they will make your day! I've been meaning to leave a review in awhile. I loved the Springhill and to find out they are sister hotels made coming to bozeman so much better. Breakfast is amazing, they make their own scrambled eggs instead of it coming out of a cartoon, and their sausage and gravy is made by the staff. I'm sad they got rid of the waffles but it's company wide. I will be happy to stay again!

I am a Marriott rewards gold member, and this is one of the nicest Residence Inn properties I've stayed at. The hotel just celebrated it's one year anniversary, and I happened to be staying there at the time (they had a great little party for all of the guests with snacks and champagne). My son goes to MSU so I've now stayed at this property several times. The location is awesome, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and it has all of the nice amenities you think of with a Residence Inn. The one thing that stands out to me is how great the breakfast is at this property compared to other Residence Inn properties. Fresh breakfast sandwiches or breakfast burritos, not just the powdered eggs you would expect. I love the little bar/restaurant where they have happy hour deals. It's nice if you just want to grab a small bite to sit there and not have to go to a restaurant. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. This is now my go-to property in Bozeman.

Rude and obnoxious check in staff (Steven), other staff were friendly and nice. Rooms are nice. Breakfast was poor to fair. Nickel and dime you for everything on top of overpriced room. There were bottled waters in the room with a tag that stated $4.00 each would be attached to your statement if used. Also charges a $20 fee nightly for parking. Had to ask another guest to locate the pool, it is not well-marked and on 2nd floor but did not use it. If thinking of adding Bozeman as a stop on your trip, I wouldn't, whole area was overpriced and not sure why, there didn't appear to be much going on unless you are into visiting bars downtown? I chose this hotel to try another brand as it appeared nice online; however, will return to the Best Westerns, have not had a bad experience at one yet, they are a much better value.

Hi JL, We are so disappointed to hear you did not have an "above and beyond" experience at our hotel! Our team strives to provide the best service to every guest and I am so sorry to hear that was not the case for you. In my experience, our front desk agent who checked you in has been very polite and gracious with our guests so it is a shame to hear you did not have that same perception. Thank you for mentioning our Fiji Waters in the guest rooms -- these are a convenient novelty available to guests only if they choose, otherwise we have less expensive water in our Market and complimentary filtered water refill stations throughout the property. As for parking, our fees go towards the upkeep of our lot in a downtown area in which parking is becoming harder and harder to come by. We choose to offer the more affordable self-park option, versus valet, like the industry is trending and is offered by some of our competition. Overall, I am sorry your experience was not what you -- or we -- would have wanted and I do appreciate your feedback. Thank you again.

We have a family of 6 and we were able to get a room with 2 queens and a pullout and it worked great for us, the service was great and we were able to customize our maid service and room cleaning for every other day which worked very well. The Hotel is very clean and the employees appear to take pride in keeping the appearance clean and organized. The free breakfast was a big plus for us before we headed to Bridger to ski and the Happy hour on our return was also a bonus. The only mild issue we had was the high level of chlorine in the pool/hottub when we were there but it may have just been a day or 2 when it was adjusted. Overall we will stay there again very soon.

We are Marriott people and were happy to find a Marriott in Bozeman that was convenient, clean (new) and nice team of staff members. Even the maintenance man took the time to tell us a few restaurants to try when the front desk staff member was busy assisting another guest. The beds were comfortable, and it was right on the main street making it walkable to the restaurants in the area.
