Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not horrible. Needs some maintenance, no elevator, no breakfast even though the website says they have one. Only good thing about the place is the staff. Nicest, friendliest staff I’ve come across in a while. They were helpful and treated me like family.

On the very low end of the choice hotel ladder, this hotel was just ok. They no longer offer free breakfast, but have not updated their website. The rooms were unremarkable and the bed was not especially comfortable. But the hotel in general served its purpose. I will say though, the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.

Honestly, I don't expect much from a hotel that allows pets. I hate to have to travel with mine, but that was my reason for choosing this place. I was happy to find that the rooms were fairly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful. What more would you want for a budget stay? I think the only thing I would suggest is that they replace the carpet with some kind of laminate floor as most pet-friendly hotels are now doing. So much more sanitary.

When we arrived we had to wait for a front desk person. Our TV was unplugged and we had to have staff plug it in because we couldn't get to the plug easily. The air conditioner quit working in the middle of the night, which made for a poor nights sleep. Staff walked in on us in the morning just before we were ready to leave. I yelled that we were still in the room and she still opened the door! Again no one at the front desk when we went to check out. I wanted to talk to a manager and no manager was on site.I asked the front desk to call the manager while I stood there, he did and the manager hung up on him. I asked the clerk to have the manager call me. As of this writing he has not called me. I also called the manager and left a message and no call back yet. This hotel is poorly managed. I was nervous about this hotel brand to begin with and I was right. On a postive note the room was clean. They did accommodate with a first floor room as there are no elevators. And the night clerk was helpful with the TV issue.

Although the price included breakfast there was virtually no place to sit and eat what little they had to offer for breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet but our key did not work in the outside rear door. The clerk was very helpful recommending an excellent nearby restaurant. The WiFi and electrical outlets were adequate.

I selected this Rodeway because it was $30/night cheaper than the next Choice Hotel brand (Quality Inn) that is right across the street. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Everything worked. This is a place to lay your head and sleep. No pool. No elevator. Breakfast is simple bread products, spreads, cold cereal and packaged oatmeal. Beverages are juice, coffee and tea. No eggs or meat. It is clear the owner puts some pride in this budget hotel. The lobby is fixed up. There is an ice water cooler in the lobby. The hallways looked freshly painted with new carpet. The rooms were clean and fixed up. The outside looks well maintained. The hotel is in a cul de sac with 5 or 6 other budget hotels and a McDonalds. I did not hear the interstate road noise. The hotel was quiet but I think that had a lot to do with not many people staying there. When I did hear people, I heard slamming hotel room doors. Walls seemed thin. . If in the area and needing a place to sleep, I would stay here again if the price was right.

Honestly, one of the best hotels I've stayed in...the rooms were extremely clean. The beds were wicked comfy, and breakfast was killer.... the staff were fantastic. Stephen was extremely helpful with any questions or needs I had. He remembered and addressed me by my name everytime he saw me, and he had a sick chain...phenomenal service...10/10 would stay here again.

After a hectic time finding a vacancy we found ourselves at the Rodeway Inn where the front desk clerk got us settled in fast complete with recommendations of where to go out that were perfect. Nice clean hotel, comfortable and friendly & well run. We came back again.

Nice clean room. Nothing special, just a nice clean room for a road trip. Breakfast is included but has no protein just different forms of bread and cereals. All the employees were nice. Hotel has no elevator and make sure you ask for a room that doesn't have a view of the cemetery, unless you're into that.
