Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was one of the Hotels we stopped at on our bus tour and is close to Custer State Park which we drove through on way to Yellowstone. The hotel location is close to several eating places and a couple of casinos.
The rooms were very comfortable, quiet and clean.
The morning breakfast was very good .
Nice place for family since it has indoor pool.

I stayed two nights at the Hilton Garden Inn Billings last week. There were no problems with our stay. The hotel is walking distance to a good pizza place, so we were able to enjoy dinner and drinks without worries about driving. Hilton Garden Inns do not have free breakfast. There was a restaurant on site. There was also a guest laundry.

Our night's stay was an average experience. The 1 King bed guest room was basic at a steep price. The bed offers an uncomfortable rest. With the new soaps and conditioner pump bottles hanging off the shower walls, the limited space is significantly reduced for turning around. A wand-style showerhead would have improved some of these concerns, but this was not an option at this hotel. While this hotel brand met our needs, it is not our first choice.

Let me say first off we typically Love Hilton Garden Inn's and its appealing front lobbies and fresh smell. Not this one!.While checking in we noticed the side door propped open. The odor of cigarette smoke streamed into the lobby from the outside sitting area.It didn't seem to phase the Desk clerk. No fresh coffee was available in the lobby. The clerk said it was probably made earlier in the day. We did grab the last room available which was handicapped. The room itself was fine with comfortable beds.We stayed 2 nights and were never restocked with fresh towels and coffee. We had to go down to the front desk to replenish the room who politely gave us extra keurig coffee pods.
As a Hilton Honors member(which essentially means Nothing unless you travel several times a month) we were expecting better than average for the price of close to $300 a night. We have been on a Montana Road trip and have stayed in better places for half the price.
Message to Management:Staff was doing the best they could. Higher your Standards and the rest will fall into place. Concentrate on the small things.

While we had excellent customer service, the price of the room was absolutely not worth it. 1). The beds weren’t comfortable for us. We aren’t picky and these didn’t do it for us. 2). The AC unit was quite loud with a grinding noise all night long. We had the room set to 68 and it just seemed like the unit couldn’t quite maintain the temp. It woke us up throughout the night. 3) The fitness center is quite small AND both treadmills were out of order. The hotel is nice and the service was great but not worth $360 / night.

Absolutely stunned at the level of service for my granddaughter’s 8th birthday. I brought her with for a special weekend and the staff went above and beyond making it so special. Balloons and a gift basket in the room - a special decorated table in the restaurant - checking on us frequently….all staff we passed wished her a special happy birthday.

It was amazing.

The room/hotel was spotless, every staff member was amazing and friendly

We always stay at a Hilton Garden Inns when ever possible, a step up from almost all other hotels. You should know that the entry is temporarily in the back while they are remodeling the front. I look at that as a positive because as hotels get to look a little shabby, they fix it up so it looks better than it ever did. That's the quality you can expect at Hilton Garden Inns. The staff working there were so nice, the room was so exceptional and clean, and to top it off there is a wide variety of restaurants only a block away so you don't have to get back in your car to go eat. They all have dine-in or takeout. We did a takeout at Old Chicago.

Just a heads up to anyone thinking of staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Billings Mt.
The 1st floor ADA room with a bath is not ADA compliant as they have fixed a seat at the opposite end of the bath to the shower head making it impossible to reach the controls.
I complained to the staff but the manager was not interested in sorting out the problem.

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend away. Check in was easy, they offered contactless check in. We didn’t utilize it but we were happy it was offered. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. They were in the middle of a remodel but did not work while we were there. They offered a breakfast box with a variety of take and eat items. Coffee is available and is hot and good! We will return again.

What are you doing during COVID for safety? How old is your hotel?
Answer from Ed50_13
Johnstown, Colorado341 contributions101 helpful votes
The hotel is cleaning and sanitizing every room which is then sealed with a sticker that has to be broken when entering. Also masks are required for staff as well as patrons. The breakfast and lounge area are socially distanced and orders on in takeaway containers. The hotel is older but has been renovated nicely. Check in can be done online but if in person a plexiglass shield separates guest from staff member. We felt totally safe while staying at the hotel.

No. It's $9.95 p/p. However, there is a great coffee local shop right across the street and other restaurants if you're looking for something else.
